One word. Excellent. Marvellous customer service. Service orientated hotel. Location is good too as it’s located exactly at nanjing pedestrian street with access to metro line 2. Special credit to Justin Wu during my check in. Fast check in and voluntarily upgraded us even without us requesting. Kudos for great attentive attitude. We were also given late check out as my flight back is late at night. Appreciate his understanding. Smooth check out process too especially with a sweet young beautiful lady named starry cui. Can converse well in English too. Gave us a complimentary plushie which makes a great memorable gift. Will definitely stay in crowne plaza if I am to drop by Shanghai again

This year, we decided to book our New Year's Eve dinner at the Radisson, and to save ourselves the hassle of traveling back and forth, we decided to stay there as well. JUDY called me a day in advance to ask about my room preferences, which eased my anxiety and built up my anticipation for the stay. We booked a Deluxe Suite, facing south towards People's Park, offering a really great view. The room was very tidy, with a living room and bedroom, and a standard double bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, but no bidet. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clear that the room facilities are very well-maintained. The shower brand is Radisson's own, and it worked quite well. Room service is also worth mentioning; their response time was very quick, and they offered turndown service. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. The hotel's location is excellent. You don't even need to go outside to access New World City directly, making shopping and dining very convenient. We had lunch on the 8th and 9th floors of New World City for the past few days. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is right outside. On New Year's Eve, we went to Nanjing Road and the Bund, experiencing Shanghai's New Year's atmosphere up close, which was a rare treat. The breakfast was very plentiful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite crystal cakes. The lack of free parking was a bit unexpected. While it might be due to the location, other hotels I've stayed at recently, like the Conrad and Peace Hotel, also have excellent locations but offer free parking. However, the parking garage entrance is very narrow, and the turns are quite tight, which could be challenging for less-skilled drivers. So, it's probably best not to drive if you can avoid it. This was my first stay at a Radisson Group hotel, and it left a very positive impression on me.

This hotel is centrally located, right above People's Square Metro Station. It's super close to Nanjing Road, The Bund, Shanghai Museum, Natural History Museum, and Yu Garden, making it incredibly convenient for family trips exploring the city. The twin beds in the room were perfect for families with kids. A special shout-out to Manager Xiao Ma at the front desk – his service was incredibly warm and efficient. He helped us with a room upgrade and even gave our child a little bear charm when we checked out! 👍👍👍

The location is superb and incredibly convenient. The service is warm and friendly, and the staff's attitude is excellent. It's a vintage hotel with a touch of Shanghainese charm. They were incredibly responsive to all my needs; whether it was the cleaning staff on my floor or the service staff in the executive lounge, everyone provided immense help during my stay! I highly recommend this old-school hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained. It's also worth noting that some floors are undergoing renovation, so you might want to inquire about that before checking in. Oh, and you absolutely must try the breakfast; it's really delicious, especially the scallion pancake with egg!

Full marks to the front desk service at Pullman Shanghai Jing'an! The entire experience was professional, efficient, and thoughtful, truly reflecting the high standards of a luxury hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and guided through the check-in process seamlessly. The staff were gentle, polite, and patiently answered all my questions about room types, facilities, and local transportation. Their attention to detail was exceptional. They also responded promptly and handled any last-minute requests with great service awareness, making me feel at ease and comfortable from the moment I arrived. The front desk team as a whole displayed high professionalism and a smooth workflow, with absolutely no perfunctory service. They truly made me feel at home. With its excellent location, great facilities, and such outstanding service, this will be my first choice again next time. Highly recommended!

The hotel was easy enough to find for a hotel the has a reception on the 4th floor and no signage out front. The location is prime for access to the pedestrian road. Lots of sightseeing and shopping in this area. Short drive to all the key tourist hotspots. Beds were comfortable, staff were great to foreigners like us, breakfast was fine. The only thing of notes was we had no luck using the dryers and resorted to hanging out our clothes in our room. But this is a minor issue and may be operator error. We would stay at the Yitel premium again.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You're right on a pedestrian street and next to People's Square metro station, with tons of shopping mall restaurants around, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to Janet, who provided exceptional service – she was incredibly attentive, warm, thoughtful, and super responsive! The room was comfortable, the bedding clean and soft, and the view was beautiful. For this price, the quality you get is amazing value for money. Conrad Shanghai will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Shanghai. Highly recommend!

Jing'an District/West Nanjing Road Shanghai|0.85km do centro da cidade
The hotel’s location is very good. It is about a 5-minute walk to a huge Starbucks, Nanjing West Road, the MRT station, and Wujiang Road, which has several nice bakeries and food options. This made getting around very convenient. There was also a 7-11 just across the road. However, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite was disappointing for the price paid. The rooms are rather small, especially the master bedroom, where there was not enough space to place or open any luggage. We had to keep our luggage in the living room instead. The bathroom, particularly the shower area, looked very dated. The tiles appeared old and there was a musty smell, which was unpleasant. Another inconvenience was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed, making it very inconvenient to switch off the lights from the other side. The kitchenette was also very small. Cutlery was stored in a drawer above the bin, which was not ideal, and there were no extra plates provided. The tiles looked old with visible cracks, and some of the drawers were faulty. Overall, the room did not feel premium and felt overpriced for what was offered. The hotel rooms clearly need a glow-up to match the Kempinski brand and the rates charged. Additionally, the reception area was undergoing renovation, with no seating or waiting area. The pick-up and drop-off driveway is very narrow, only a small lane. When loading our luggage, we had to do so very quickly as other cars were waiting. The driveway would benefit from being more spacious. While the location is excellent, the room condition, layout, and facilities did not meet expectations for a Premier suite.

I really love the name of this hotel so I booked 3 nights without hesitation. What surprised me is that we have been upgraded (our room is on 12th floor) and the view of the room can see the bund clearly just from the window of our room. For the service, you could feel really warm-welcomed and the staffs are really patient. By the way, the restaurant on 7th floor is worth to be tried. I bet you won’t regret if you choose this hotel.

The location is super central and convenient for getting anywhere. The staff honestly told us that the Oriental Pearl TV Tower view was partially obstructed, but it was still stunning. They even provided disposable bath liners and milk bath packets for the bathtub. Xiao Wu was incredibly helpful, always answering our questions promptly and efficiently. A big thank you to Xiao Wu! The only minor issue was the front desk male staff member's insincere expression when we checked in at 6 PM on January 12th, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the front desk staff who checked us in late at night were very friendly despite the late hour. Overall, the staff's attitude was excellent! The hotel definitely has some age, but the TV was smart, and the breakfast was refreshing and cozy. All in all, a good experience!

Big shout out to the housekeeping staff! The coffee machine was broken, and two of them actively helped me sort it out. Now, for the breakfast department, I have a big complaint! 😡 Because I had an early train to catch the next day, I specifically ordered a takeaway breakfast the night before. But when I got to the station, bumpy ride and all, I opened the breakfast bag and was speechless. Inside was a bruised pear, a cup of black coffee, and three identical, dry croissants! Even McDonald's knows to pack sugar and milk with coffee – do you five-star hotels not? With so many Western and Chinese options for breakfast, I only get three stale croissants? No fresh fruit? Guests are expected to eat fruit that's almost rotten?! I've stayed at many five-star hotels, and this packed breakfast quality is even worse than a Hampton Inn! 😤😠🤬

Facilities: The bathroom sink wasn't very practical; water splashed everywhere easily. Environment: The breakfast area and lobby bar are shared and quite small. Service: The hotel service was really good. The front desk staff, especially Loretta, were very professional. She deserves a huge commendation – even on her days off, she'd message me to say I could reach out to her anytime if I needed anything. The concierge service was also excellent, promptly anticipating guests' needs, making both check-in and check-out very smooth. Housekeeping was great too; turndown service was always done by the time I returned to my room. Breakfast is a crucial indicator of a hotel's quality, reflecting its attention to detail and standards through its offerings and quality control. After I spoke with the hotel, there was an improvement the next day. The bakery items were truly outstanding; the pastries were perfectly flaky, and both the pancakes and waffles were delicious. The fried dishes also had a great texture.

This is a true five-star hotel. Though a bit old, it still retains its charm. Parking is convenient, with both above-ground and underground options, but having to input the car number every time you leave could be improved. The room was spacious, and the upgraded river view room was a thoughtful touch. I slept comfortably, the bathroom was large, the shower had great water pressure, and the high-end showerhead with separate functions was very convenient. The bedding was also comfortable, though the TV was a bit small. The floor attendants were enthusiastic and always ready to help. The biggest highlight is the 30th floor rooftop, where you can swim and enjoy the view simultaneously. Soaking in the hot tub while looking at the Oriental Pearl Tower was an amazing experience! The sauna is new, and the presence of an ice pool shows their professionalism (you rarely see this facility in other hotels). Running on the treadmill in the morning while looking at the Oriental Pearl Tower was fantastic! Breakfast offered a wide variety, truly befitting a high-end five-star hotel. My only minor regret was the absence of small wontons, but the sheer abundance of other options definitely deserves praise! All the staff were very warm and well-trained. There's a Shanghai restaurant and a Lanzhou noodle place next to the hotel, and it's very convenient to drive anywhere from here. All in all, I'll likely choose this hotel again when I come back to Pudong. Lucky to have stayed for two nights, keep up the great work!

This hotel is located by the Suzhou River, offering a tranquil escape. It's right next to the Suzhou River half-marathon route, which is where I often take my kids cycling. Since I stayed during Chinese New Year, the hotel was bustling and lively. My husband and I had planned to join the Baduanjin (a form of Qigong) class, but it was so crowded that we gave up halfway through. If it were less busy on a normal day, it would probably be a wonderful place to relax. I noticed something interesting during breakfast: the young lady who gave me a spa massage last night was making coffee this morning! The hotel's design is thoughtful in every detail, and the staff are all very charming. They proactively offered us a complimentary one-hour late checkout, which was a nice touch! Personally, I wasn't particularly interested in the various health teas and soups provided in the room, but I have to admit, this kind of wellness-focused amenity would appeal to many people. The hot spring facilities were also quite clean. Overall, the hotel maintains a high standard of hygiene. As for dining, the executive lounge was quite ordinary, especially in the afternoon. Next time, I plan to try the Spanish restaurant located within the hot springs area.

Had a truly rejuvenating stay at Shanghai Million Stone Onsen Hotel, it felt like a trip to Japan! The hotel is perfectly located within the Disney Resort, and just across the road from Shanghai Village outlet mall. The entire hotel boasts an authentic Japanese style, with tranquil and elegant dry landscape gardens. Our room featured traditional tatami mats and underfloor heating, making it cozy and comfortable. The real highlight was the hotel's 'Gokurakuyu' hot spring, which draws real thermal water from underground and is exclusively for guests, ensuring a peaceful and uncrowded experience. After a long day exploring Disneyland, soaking in the hot spring melted all our fatigue away. Coupled with a professional scrub massage from the aunties at the hot spring area, it was pure bliss. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland, which is super convenient whether you're driving or flying in. I stayed at the Yuansu Hot Spring Hotel in Shanghai for three days with my mother, enjoying the private hot springs – it was wonderfully warm. Each room has its own private hot spring, offering excellent privacy. We didn't have to share with anyone, which made it very relaxing and comfortable. The warm, steamy baths really chased away the winter chill. My mother found it very comfortable and relaxing, and she was at ease the whole time. We also paid an extra 699 RMB to try on kimonos. The staff member assisting us was a wonderful woman, an expert in cosplay and a Sagittarius sister! She patiently helped us dress and style our hair. The bows she tied were incredibly beautiful, and the braided hairstyle was adorable. I love the butterfly-themed ambiance, and every photo we took in the courtyard looked like a perfect Japanese-style shot. The service was exceptionally thoughtful. The front desk lady was warm and polite, the cleaning staff were meticulous, and the gentleman serving breakfast was handsome and reserved. Every detail showed great care. Without leaving Shanghai, we were able to experience the tranquil elegance of Kyoto – a quiet escape in the bustling city, gently healing this winter. These three slow-paced days combined companionship with comfort, making it a super-healing city getaway for the winter.

The hotel room facilities are good, with everything that should be there. The smoking area outside is also very beautiful. The breakfast in the morning is very good, it is self-service, and there are freshly made noodles to eat. If you are thirsty, you can go downstairs at any time to have some drinks and fruits, which are all included in the hotel package. Why the deduction? Like many reviews wrote, the water in the pool here is really too hot. It is the hottest of all the hot springs in Shanghai that I have been to. It feels too hot. I saw that several children could hardly soak in the water for a while. I don’t know why so many people complained. I saw that the management was still saying in the comments that it met the hot spring temperature requirements. What they said is that your water is too hot, and they are giving you suggestions. Everyone in the hot spring said that the water was hot, not that you violated any regulations... It takes talent to reply like this

Stayed here with some friends for a staycation. I stayed in the majiang room while my friends stayed in the regular room. Regular rooms were much cleaner and more comfortable, whereas the majiang room was a little dusty, had a lingering smell, and did not have a hairdryer. The Japanese style flooring and furnishings in the regular rooms were very cosy and atmospheric, but in the majiang room, the large ceiling space made it feel a bit bleak, the furniture was mismatched, and the decor nonexistent, it felt a bit like I was in a divorced uncle's garage. Majiang table and underfloor heating worked well, however, and we still had a pleasant stay. Location, right by Chuansha old town, was perfect for a staycation, with all the charm of a small town but the convenience of still being in Shanghai. I found the hotspring to be clean and pleasant, but a little underwhelming. Only two small pools, both at 37°c, would have preferred to have a hotter option and other facilities such as salt scrub or sauna. It was still nice enough, just not a highlight of the stay. Overall it was a comfortable stay. The facilities are very basic, but fine. It was a nice escape from the bustle of central Shanghai.

Overall Experience: My stay was defined by a feeling of tranquil escape. The hotel's greatest strength is its atmosphere. Being in a historic building tucked away in a quiet, leafy neighborhood just off the famous Nanjing Road created a perfect balance. I could easily walk to the buzz and shopping, but returned each time to a serene, garden-filled sanctuary. It felt more like a peaceful retreat than a standard city hotel. Service: The service was consistently attentive and polite. Staff were professional and quick to help with requests. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. While the service wasn't overly familiar, it was reliably good and matched the hotel's calm, understated style. I felt well taken care of. The location gets a 99/100! This place is a major hub, super convenient for getting anywhere, surrounded by large shopping malls. Jing'an Temple, the Park Hotel, Wukang Road Historical and Cultural Zone, Anfu Road, and Huaihai Middle Road are all basically within a half-hour's journey, which is perfect for aimless wanderers like me~ If you're coming by subway, take Exit 6 at Jing'an Temple station; it's the closest way to walk. Room: The facilities are definitely old and small. The hairdryer is an old-fashioned one from the last century that you have to hold down the button to use, so I didn't wash my hair that night. The basic room type is only 38 square meters, and the luggage rack needs to be pulled out, otherwise, even a 20-inch suitcase can't be opened flat. Despite being old, it's very well maintained and clean, with no visible stains. Service: Top marks! Every staff member was genuinely friendly, proactively helping with luggage, guiding check-in, greeting guests, and holding doors open when leaving. The details of an old-school hotel are evident everywhere. Breakfast: The freshly made waffles and pancakes with cream are absolutely delicious; the cream is perfectly light. The xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are also worth trying. Surroundings: The hotel is connected to Shanghai Centre, so there are restaurants, cafes, and a small supermarket right outside. It's a bit like the expat supermarkets in Beijing's embassy district, with a lot of imported foods, which makes sense given the large number of foreigners in the area.

This is an excellent hotel, located right in the heart of Lujiazui. There's an underground passage connecting it to IFC Mall, Super Brand Mall, and the subway. It's been over 20 years since my last stay, and the experience was even better this time. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by enthusiastic staff who opened the doors. Check-in was orderly and efficient. The room was clean and a good size, and the facilities were well-maintained, clearly having been renovated. Requests for extra pillows and other amenities were promptly fulfilled. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to fully explore the public facilities. On my check-out day, it was raining, and the concierge had plenty of umbrellas available for loan. Overall, the service was very comfortable – warm and genuine, not artificial. The hotel's views are simply breathtaking. From the room, you can see the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in Shanghai, and the Huangpu River. She even upgraded us to an Executive Lounge room type. Upon arrival, she helped us coordinate our room, and when we found the TV couldn't screen mirror, she brought us an extra mirroring device. She truly paid attention to our needs and helped us resolve issues. However, the service was a bit hit-or-miss. The front desk staff who checked us in not only failed to assign us the room that the butler had secured for us but also disregarded our request for a Pearl Tower view, assigning us a room in the East Building with a Bund view. Then, she self-importantly declared, ”Please trust my taste.” But a service person's taste should not outweigh a customer's needs. This front desk staff member might lack the most basic respect for customer requirements. Fortunately, after some coordination, we were able to switch to a room that met our needs, and the rest of our stay was very pleasant.

Jing'an District/West Nanjing Road Shanghai|2.33km do centro da cidade
This has been my go-to hotel every time I visit Shanghai in recent years. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic, and the gentleman was super efficient. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special, but the price is really high. In that regard, it doesn't quite measure up to the Shangri-La in Chengdu. My favorite part of the room's decor was the bathroom, it's gorgeous. The only minor complaint is that the toilet isn't smart. The room decor is decent, but the duvet was too thin. The air conditioning consumes a lot of electricity but doesn't heat up, so it was basically useless. I caught a cold on the first night and woke up with a really hoarse voice the next morning. Even with a heater and an extra blanket the second night, it didn't help much, and I ended up being sick for a whole week. Despite that, I'd still stay here again when I'm in Shanghai. The area is great for shopping and dining. One more thing to complain about: I'm not sure why the bottled water was replaced with boxed water, and without a straw. Having to drink directly from the carton is just bizarre!

Stayed at the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, also known as the 'Deep Pit Hotel,' during 'Xiao Nian' (Minor New Year). Located 88 meters below ground, it's a truly unique architectural marvel, recognized as one of the world's top ten architectural wonders – a definite must-see! The check-in process was incredibly smooth; we were able to get into our room before 12 PM. Every bed in the room faces the deep pit, and the balcony is spacious. From there, you can see a waterfall, a pool of water at the bottom of the pit, and the Ferris wheel, skywalk, and bungee jumping at the Deep Pit Shimao Wonderland amusement park across the way. You can even lie in bed and enjoy the waterfall view. The room amenities are excellent, with a shower and bathtub, and a well-designed wet/dry separation. Overall, the facilities are top-notch, and the breakfast is plentiful. The real-time cliff light and shadow show at night is particularly impressive and spectacular. Drawing inspiration from the 'Classic of Mountains and Seas,' it showcases unique oriental mythical stories. The butler service was outstanding. I lost my ID when I visited the Wonderland park the day before, and our butler, Bruce, was incredibly proactive in helping me search for it. He found it the very next day, which was a huge help. Many thanks to Butler Bruce!

[”The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 6-7 minute walk to the subway station! The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was incredibly soft, truly like sleeping on a cloud. The front desk staff were so thoughtful, even providing a guide to local eateries. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!”,”The room was even more spacious than the photos indicated. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation and was impeccably clean. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, and the freshly prepared noodles were especially fragrant and tasty. We had an exceptionally comfortable stay!”]

This is our re-visit of the hotel. I don’t know why, but it just felt homey instantly (usually it will take me a night to get used to the room), it’s just comfortable with peaceful ambiance and soft lighting. The breakfast was amazing and it really helped to start our day in a pleasant way! We also had a pleasant interaction with the room-service robot who delivered bottle water to our room twice 😄 You just had to try it!!! too bad I couldn’t hug the robot 😄 I also like the Hotel’s good and combined use of technology and human service. I called from the room to ask for bottle water, and it was answered by a lady who said they will send a Robot to deliver. (In another hotel, I also made a call from the room with a small request, but it was an auto answer where you had to talk to a machine and dial the numbers when prompted, which often ended in frustration). Other than that, just one suggestion, I thought the quality of the toiletries and slippers provided could be better compared to the peer hotels, yea, especially for the slippers, they felt too synthetic compared to the slippers from the other two hotels I stayed at during this travel. Overall, great stay, pleasant experience and will revisit!

This hotel is perfectly suited to my taste. The lobby is predominantly decorated in black and red, with even the glass panels featuring a red tint. The lobby area is incredibly spacious, boasting many distinct seating zones, which made me feel like I could spend an entire day just lounging there. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall, MixC City, offering a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Plus, it's just a few subway stops from either the train station or the airport. Getting to the hotel from Ziteng Road Metro Station: exit and enter the shopping mall through its main illuminated entrance. For the most straightforward path, *before* you reach the pedestrian street of the metro commercial area, follow the signs to take the elevator up to the second floor. From there, walk through the parking lot between Buildings A and B, and you'll arrive directly at the hotel, with no stairs to navigate. Overall, I feel the hotel's marketing efforts are insufficient. This hidden gem truly deserves to be discovered by more people.
