Our trip to Daming Lake was in December and a low season for travellers to this part of China. The hotel was located within the lake scenic zone and thus you need to arrange for the hotel for a transfer. After that from the hotel it is just a few minutes walk to another parking lot where you can easily get a didi ride. Note these are two different carpark. Free parking is available. From the our room terrace we could see the occasional boat moving past on its way around the daming lake region, note it is not noisy at all. The from the hotel you can easily access the lake’s sight and just a couple of minutes away from the pagoda where in the evening you could see lots of people in hanfu taking pictures as the lights get lit up level by level. From the hotel there is a short walkway whereby you can reach the main road where you can find all kinds of eateries , supermarket, spa , shopping etc. it sure beat staying in downtown Jinan. Strongly recommend this place if you are a tourist planning visits to the major attractions in Jinan.

Stayed at hotel 3x times over 2 weeks. Room # 3609 has obvious water seepage issue on the bedroom wall, from the shower water most likely, so do expect some wear and tear, seeing hotel has been around for couple of years already .. Also wish the main toilet was better thought out, with counter space and also space to hang used towels, etc..
Other than that, we are truly happy with hardworking front desk and house-keeping staff who took very good care of us and make the shortfall in the hardware aspect more bearable.

THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY. Fantastic rooms, A buffet breakfast that puts all other hotels to shame. Would highly recommend staying here and I will be staying here on all my trips to China from now on.

The hotel room was quite large; even two people would have been very comfortable. The girls who checked me in at reception were very, very friendly.
I only used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was fine, but I couldn't use the airport pickup service; they didn't respond on time. My Chinese isn't very good at calling the hotel directly and making requests. So I would recommend that they be more careful in that regard. (they replied after I had left😆)
Overall, the cleanliness was very good. The only issue is that they don't seem to clean the glass wall in the bathroom very often; I hadn't even used it yet and it was already dirty.
And just one recommendation: the tea they left in the room was delicious, and I learned that in Chinese culture they don't use sugar in tea. But I'm not Chinese, and I do need something sweet 😁😅😆 They could add a small cookie or something sweet for those of us who need something sweet.

Recentemente, me hospedei neste hotel e tive uma experiência excepcional do início ao fim. A equipe me recebeu calorosamente assim que cheguei, e o processo de check-in foi rápido e eficiente. Durante toda a minha estadia, todos os membros da equipe com quem interagi foram profissionais, atenciosos e genuinamente dispostos a ajudar, o que me fez sentir valorizado e confortável.
O quarto em si era impecável, moderno e bem equipado, com toques atenciosos como água mineral de cortesia, frigobar bem abastecido e produtos de higiene pessoal de alta qualidade. A cama era excepcionalmente confortável e apreciei as cortinas blackout que me permitiram uma noite de sono tranquila. O Wi-Fi era forte e confiável, o que facilitou o trabalho e o streaming sem interrupções.
Um dos pontos altos foi o buffet de café da manhã. A variedade era impressionante, desde frutas frescas e doces até pratos quentes preparados na hora. Tudo tinha um sabor fresco e era bem preparado, e a área de refeições era elegante e relaxante.
A localização do hotel também é excelente. Fica perto de transporte público, restaurantes e das principais atrações, facilitando a exploração da cidade. No geral, este hotel superou minhas expectativas em todos os sentidos. Eu não hesitaria em retornar e o recomendo fortemente a qualquer pessoa que visite a região.

As a traveler from faraway Brazil, when I first arrived in China, I fell into a physical predicament due to not getting acclimated to the local conditions. Severe vomiting and diarrhea left me completely drained of strength. In my flurry, my clothes and the bedspread were soiled as well.
When I was at my most helpless, the young man at the front desk of Atour Hotel in Dezhou extended a helping hand. He not only accompanied me to the hospital attentively, helping me consult the doctor and get the medicine, but also silently took care of everything while I was seeking medical treatment.
When I returned to the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my dirty clothes had been washed and dried, and the bed sheets and covers had been replaced with clean and tidy new ones.
All the staff members of the hotel have always provided warm and thoughtful service, showing care and offering help in subtle ways. This warmth that transcends national boundaries made me feel as comfortable and at ease as if I were at home in a foreign land.
I sincerely thank every staff member of Atour Hotel and give a thumbs-up for their attentive and professional service!

HHao²º²¹The hotel is in a residential area, so there are plenty of places to eat, especially the Shuangheyuan restaurant right next door – a must-try! You can rent an electric scooter downstairs at the hotel and it's only a 5-minute ride to Jinsha Beach, which is about 3km away. There's free coffee in the lobby, and Rose provided excellent service. This place is perfect for friends traveling together.

GGuest UserLocation is absolutely fantastic: This guesthouse is tucked away in Qifang Alley, truly offering a tranquil escape right in the heart of the bustling city. Just a short walk outside brings you to Furong Street and Quancheng Road, and it's super convenient to get to Daming Lake and Baotu Spring. Yet, the moment you step back into the courtyard, the city's hustle and bustle instantly fades away.
Courtyard experience: I was truly amazed the moment I pushed open the courtyard gate. The courtyard room comes with its own small private yard, complete with bluestone slabs and trickling spring water. It instantly felt like I was transported back to the misty江南 (Jiangnan) region. Sitting in the courtyard during the day, sipping tea and enjoying the breeze while looking at the mottled brick walls, was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. It was the perfect way to experience the laid-back lifestyle of old Jinan.
Room amenities: The room is very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The decor has a sophisticated New Chinese style, which is both antique and elegant, yet with a modern, luxurious touch. It's also perfect for taking photos! The bedding is very comfortable, and the stand-alone bathtub is an absolute godsend for unwinding.

FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question.
After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and efficient. We had stable 24-hour hot water and smooth Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next trip.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the bus station and very close to the train station. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and fruit stores nearby, and it's also close to RT-Mart. Public transportation to all the attractions is very convenient. The hotel service is excellent; they are very responsive and promptly meet our needs. What's even more thoughtful is the extended check-out time, which saved us from having to wander around. Highly recommended!

The room is comfortable and suitable for a family of three. There is a refrigerator and a mobile clothes drying rack. The house has plenty of light, no odor, and is very quiet at night. There are two large windows on the east and south sides, and you can see the sea. Free cucumbers 🥒, tomatoes 🍅 and other fruits are delivered every day. There is also yogurt. Good value for money. Worth recommending!

A few quick notes:
Dining: The breakfast is great but almost entirely Chinese cuisine. There are fewer international options, so it's perfect if you enjoy local flavors.
Location: Situated on Road, but the subway is about 1 km away. It’s a bit of a walk, but a very quick taxi or Didi ride to the main spots.
Overall, a fantastic choice for friendly hospitality!”

WWilliam_BallThey actually upgraded our room at check-in! The room instantly felt so much brighter and the natural light was incredible!
What really impressed me was that they knew we prefer soft beds and immediately changed the bedding to super soft ones! Lying on it felt like sinking into a cloud, and all the travel fatigue just melted away. 😭
The room was so clean it practically gleamed, and there wasn't a single strange smell in the bathroom – a dream come true for someone who pays attention to details!
The service was excellent throughout, gentle and thoughtful, making it incredible value for money! Staying here really put my mind at ease and was so comfortable. I'll definitely be sticking with this hotel next time I visit!

AAnonymous UserWe arrived at the apartment quite late, around 1am, feeling exhausted. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a staff member with a rather rude attitude, which left us with a poor first impression.
The apartment is spacious and can comfortably accommodate five of us. However, it is visibly aged, with noticeable wear and tear in several areas. The sea view from the window is pleasant, although it is not a full 180-degree view as it is partially blocked by another tower. Cutlery was not provided in the unit and had to be requested from the front desk, which was a bit inconvenient.
Nevertheless, the service is generally good. A robot delivers meal orders directly to the unit, and parcels can also be received at the lobby, although guests need to collect them personally. On two occasions when I had to leave early and was unable to attend breakfast, I requested a takeaway option, and they kindly prepared boiled eggs and fruits, which was much appreciated.
The location is strategic and within walking distance to May Fourth Station, MIXC Mall, and May Fourth Square. Overall, it was a good stay despite a few shortcomings.

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic stay! As soon as we entered the room, the kids were so excited they practically jumped for joy! The room looked exactly like the pictures – it truly exceeded our expectations. It was clean, cozy, and the location was excellent. The service was also very thoughtful; there were no hidden charges in the room, and all the drinks and snacks were free and could be refilled, which made the adults very happy too!
