"The service was amazing! The staff and managers were very kind and helpful. However, the hotel was fully booked and the breakfast buffet was packed. The pool was also full of guests. It was a bit overwhelming to see too many people. While the place was a bit crowded during the holiday season, I’ll give them a 10/10 for the service and food. DrôleThe renovated room was incredibly spacious, featuring a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom, perfect for families. It even came equipped with kitchen facilities and a washing machine, which was a huge plus for tackling several days' worth of dirty clothes. The only drawback was that the washing machine didn't have a spin-dry function, and there was no dryer or even a place to hang clothes. The bathroom amenities were plentiful, and they even provided complimentary soap and lotion, replenishing them almost daily. Both the living room and bedroom had TVs. However, our room was on a lower floor, so the view was just average. The hotel's rooftop boasts a pool and a gym, both requiring room card access. The drinks at the bar next to the pool were reasonably priced and looked great. We even enjoyed a beautiful sunset by the pool in the evening – it was really nice.

Guest UserThe room was spacious, and the security check at the entrance was quite strict. The bed was also large. Downstairs, there's a casino, and outside the hotel, there are supermarkets and a McDonald's nearby. It's less than a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport, which is very convenient. The beaches in the Philippines are truly amazing; I've visited many times and will likely come again.

Kristin_XWe arrived earlier than expected so we weren't sure if we could check in yet but we were able to do early check-in which was awesome.
We stayed from July 19 to July 23 of 2026
They prepared a small amentity cake for us when they were informed we were traveling to celebrate us.
At the front desk, everyone greeted us warmly and helped us a lot throughout our stay. Concierge left us a little confused because they struggled to answer back in English and gave us the wrong information on where to buy sim cards.
We had the breakfast package for two. You were given meal cards that you had to present when you went to eat breakfast. Once you do, the lovely servers would guide you to a table and asked if you would like any coffee or tea. They would walk around and clear any empty plates to make sure you don't feel crowded at the table.
We ordered drinks at the pool bar and the bartender was lovely to talk to. Despite it being just us there he welcomed us to the hotel and asked what we wished to do in Makati. Once we talked about food he began talking about many restaurants around the hotel that he believed we would enjoy. Please give him our thanks because we went to the restaurant (Manam) he recommended for good Filipino food and we absolutely loved it!
The security at the hotel was very friendly and made sure everyone was safe and okay.
Overall, our stay was fantastic and would recommend any of our friends and families to stay at the Makati Diamond Residents!

Guest UserThis was my second stay here. Last time, I stayed in a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable. My daughter specifically requested we come back again. The room was clean, and I really enjoyed a relaxing soak in the bathtub. The breakfast has really improved since my last visit; there's a greater variety now, and the portions are so generous it hardly feels like a breakfast – I was extremely satisfied.

The hotel's overall facilities are a bit dated. The lobby doesn't really look like a Marriott either, to be honest. However, it's well-maintained, and the cleanliness is excellent. The service is standard Southeast Asian style. During check-in, I had an issue with my credit card and couldn't process the deposit. The front desk lady was decisive and let us check in directly without the deposit, which was very nice. The hotel breakfast, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise with a wide variety of options.

Guest UserThe Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance.
Lacking points from my personal experience:
1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges.
2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future?
The good parts:
1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality.
2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm.
3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this.

The hotel is in a great location in Makati, right next to SM Mall, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's also only a fifteen-minute drive from the airport. There are a lot of guests, and overall it's good, but the hotel is a bit old. The breakfast is rich and excellent. The hotel has a gym and an outdoor pool, which are both decent. It feels very safe!

Rainbow LtdI had an exceptional stay at I’M Hotel Makati and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service.
The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with a very comfortable bed that made for a truly relaxing stay. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything spotless.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its outstanding facilities. The onsen spa, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and fitness center were all impeccably maintained and provided the perfect balance of relaxation and wellness. The breakfast buffet offered a wonderful selection of delicious local and international dishes, making every morning something to look forward to.
The location is another major advantage. Situated in the heart of Makati, the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping centers, and nightlife, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re visiting for business or leisure.
What truly sets I’M Hotel apart is the consistency of its service. Every staff member I encountered was courteous, professional, and eager to ensure that my stay was comfortable. Their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.
Overall, I’M Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay in Makati. I will definitely be returning on my next visit.
