This hotel is conveniently located on the 15th floor of Nagoya Station Gate Tower Mall. Floors 9-10 house Bic Camera, and Uniqlo and GU are on the 11th floor, making shopping incredibly easy. There's also a popular restaurant on the same floor that often hosts lively events. You'll even find a pharmacy and convenience store on the same level.

Pros:
1. Good location
2. Comfy bed for rooms with 2 beds (twin *2 set up)
Cons:
1. Slow insufficient elevators to tansit from lobby at 24F to 7F or 1F (to get out of the building)
2. AC vent blows right in your face (pic 1)
3. Do not book their kind bed room as it is not an actual King bed. It is very misleading to sell king bed room when it's actually 2 beds pieced together with a thin mattress cover. (And the mattress cover is made to hide the twin bed from direct view)
4. Like others said, the sides are too small to quickly get out of the bed. Have to shuffle to the bottom of the bed to get out.
Fell asleep in the middle of the bed, felt weird but was too tired and passed out. Woke up with sore back from the bed and sore drybthroat from the AC blasting in my face all night. Took a look and it seemed like a king bed (pic 2), but it felt weird so checked again and found that its not a real king bed, but 2 bed pieced together with mattress topper wrap to appear like a king bed.
I felt cheated that I was sold a room with king bed but it was not a real king bed. I expected better attitude from a 4 star hotel especially it is a newer hotel and in Japan. This action is a violation of Meiyo (honor) and Shokunin (craftsman) ethics.
Pic 4 & 5 & 6 helps explains it from a third party view (I wanted to make sure what I felt was not biased or due to personal preference, so I double checked with google AI for ”third person” perspective)
In summary: Selling two bed pieced together as a King isn't just a ”hack”—it's a betrayal of the Wa (harmony) between the maker and the user.

The front desk staff was polite and smiling, and even stepped out of the way to help my husband get into the parking lot. The room was modern and furnished. The water in the bathhouse was a comfortable temperature, though there was a slight bleach smell. I also recommend adding instructions for using the hot springs in the bath room. Many Southeast Asian women were constantly looking around in the bathhouse, seemingly unsure of how to use it.

Exterior looks old. Room is newly renovated with microwave and fridge in the room. However all of us think that the heater is not working except the staff. We were told by the other staff there’s no limo bus service to the airport which we found out there’s a service 3 streets away or at the bus terminal from the tourist information center. Other than that, all was good.

The reason I came back to the hotel is because of staffs. All of them are so professional and feel try their very best to all customers. My children were also happy to receive their great and kind service. One thing to take note here for myself is, It’s better to make a reservation for dinner at the 2F buffet restaurant even weekdays. Last time we just dropped by and not many groups, but this time almost full.. however still lucky to have seats as my children wanted.

Staying in this hotel was a dream. Our room was upgraded and it was the most spacious of all the hotels we’ve stayed in. We arrived early and left our luggage with the concierge. When we arrived, our luggage was already waiting for us in our room.
The location is also good! Very near bus stops!
I had a great stay at Minn Station Ai Nagoya! The rooms were surprisingly spacious — much larger than many city hotels in Nagoya — which made it really comfortable, especially for longer stays or if you’re travelling with luggage.
The hotel has a very modern design and feel, with clean, stylish interiors and up-to-date facilities throughout. The room was equipped with all the amenities I needed — from a comfortable bed and good lighting to convenient storage and a well-appointed bathroom. Everything felt thoughtfully placed and easy to use.
One of the best things about this property is the convenience factor: there’s a Family Mart right on the ground floor, which was super handy for quick snacks, drinks, or late-night essentials without having to walk around after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, Minn Station Ai Nagoya offers spacious, modern rooms with every amenity you need — plus the bonus of a convenience store right below. Great choice for both short trips and longer stays in Nagoya!

Great
VvvangieI had to choose this hotel near Nagoya Station during the F1 season because there were no other options, but it turned out to be surprisingly convenient and comfortable: a 1500 yen taxi ride to Nagoya Station; a 7-Eleven right downstairs; Patagonia just across the main road; a 6-minute walk to Nagoya Tower & Hisaya Odori Park; 8 minutes to Kato Coffee; and 15 minutes to Montbell/Mitsukoshi Department Store/LACHIC. The room was tiny with no closet, making it difficult to store luggage, but all other facilities were fine. The public bath on the 14th floor and the breakfast on the 2nd floor were delicious, especially the udon noodles, hitsumabushi (three ways to eat eel), red bean toast, and siumai.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic airport hotel! It's super convenient, located right across from the Meitetsu Line subway station hall, which connects directly to the terminal building. Perfect for those arriving in the afternoon or departing early in the morning. What's even better is how spacious the rooms are, and they all have large windows. Some room types even offer views of Ise Bay, which is stunning and expansive. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous too. Plus, there are plenty of comfortable lounge areas in the lobby on the first floor. It's all very thoughtful and relaxing.
NNingmengqingThis was my second stay at the Meitetsu Grand Hotel, and it's incredibly convenient for traveling from Takayama to Nagoya. I arrived at the Meitetsu BC bus station in Nagoya via highway bus, which is located on the 3rd floor of the Meitetsu Building. The hotel's front desk is on the 11th floor of the same building, so it's practically zero distance! However, the shopping mall in the Meitetsu Building closed in March this year. I heard that this building, which has been operating for seventy years, is going to be redeveloped. I hope the renovated Meitetsu Building will be just as convenient! Currently, the Meitetsu bus still operates from the 3rd floor. To get to the unagi (eel) restaurant, [Sumiyaki Unafuji Shirakabe Bettei], which was recommended by Michelin, you can take the elevator down to the 3rd floor for transportation. My room was on the 15th floor, and I enjoyed the view from the window every morning and evening during my three-night stay. I forgot to take night photos, but it was beautiful! The hotel's front desk staff were excellent and very accommodating. This time, there was even a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, who provided a lot of help to us Chinese-speaking guests.
GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but this hotel made our family trip in Nagoya a complete disaster. We booked for two adults and two children. At check-in, the staff said our booking only allowed four people and refused to let my husband even step into our room to help us unpack — even though he wasn’t planning to sleep there that night!
I explained, again and again, that we were traveling as a family and were more than willing to pay extra for one more person. But the staff kept repeating the same rule with zero flexibility or empathy. My husband had no choice but to book another hotel for the night, leaving me and the kids alone for what was supposed to be a happy family holiday.
The next morning, things got worse. They continued to treat us coldly and wouldn’t allow my husband to enter, even just to help with the luggage. After so much stress, I decided to check out early—losing one night’s payment—because I simply couldn’t stand how heartless and unaccommodating they were.
Only when we were packing to leave did they suddenly offer to “upgrade” us to a larger room for extra money. But by that point, the damage was already done.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in Japan and always admired the hospitality here, but this was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. They showed no kindness, no understanding, and no respect toward families. I strongly urge anyone traveling with family to avoid this hotel.
JJan0818I stayed at Hotel Keihan Nagoya and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable room that had enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth.
Overall, it’s a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay in Nagoya.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very well kept and offered a pleasant overall stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested rooms close to each other or on the same floor. They were also helpful in receiving and handling our luggage.
The room was spacious and comfortable for solo, and the bathroom was equally well designed and relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5–10 minute walk from JR Nagoya Station, making it easy to get around.
There are plenty of food options nearby, along with an underground mall directly below the hotel and a convenience store just 2–3 minutes away, which adds a lot of convenience.
One minor drawback is the limited laundry facilities—there are only two washing machines for the entire hotel, and a full wash-and-dry cycle takes around two hours. However, it is possible to check the machine status online, which helps with planning.
Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service and convenient amenities, with only a small downside regarding laundry capacity.
The hotel breakfast buffet was also slightly underwhelming. It was a bit expensive for the variety offered, and I wished there were more Nagoya specialty dishes included considering the price.
AAnonymous Userwonder there are only 2 elevators for a 13-floor hotel, it’s a long waiting at anytime and it stops almost every floor which makes a in/out about 3-4 mins.
The room air conditioner control is only japanese language, not a user friendly one.
A 10/F window room but completely no view due blocked by an external cover, really didn’t expect it’s like a window room was nothing to see.
SS S TGreat Legoland Hotel and wonderful kid friendly facility provided, including kid play zone - Keep playing Lego. My kid enjoyed so much. Large room with treasure box quiz in room as gift. Good location and car parking area nearby, less than 10min walk distance. Adjacent to Legoland Japan. Fantastic buffet breakfast offered to visitors. Strongly recommended if you like Lego!
