Environment: Absolutely stunning! You get direct river views! It feels very safe here, and right downstairs is the city center.
Service: The hotel doesn't provide water! The small shop downstairs sells water at a high price, so I recommend buying it from a larger store.
Hygiene: The bedding is great! Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided, just remember to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush!

The room is comfortable, the location is excellent, and the surrounding public transportation is convenient.
Breakfast is too single, the end time is early.
Service is very good, there is a free shuttle to the campus, there is a free shuttle directly to Champagne Airport.

I was so pleased with my stay at the Hotel Saint Clair. I arrived in Chicago very early and they allowed me to check my bag until check in. After a morning of exploring, I came back to the hotel tired from traveling and they were able to get me in my
room an hour early. The room was cozy and clean. Great location, friendly staff, I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for our trip to Medieval times. It was near the venue. Staff were friendly and gave cookies for each room. I was disappointed that they didn't have the room I requested available and so had to stay in a different type of room.

Very clean hotel and nice staff. The room was rather small (but good enough for two people)
We stayed for four days in total, the nights were very quiet except for one night where we heard bar music playing from several blocks away. The hotel is close to the HMart.
The lack of a kettle (in the common area or in the room) is not a deal breaker as you can use the microwave (in the common area). I wished the combination safe was larger, as neither my laptop nor tablet could fit, so we travelled with our devices which made walking very tiring.
The bathrooms are nice, well-lit and spacious.

To be honest, it's a bit extravagant to live alone. But I got the offer after the interview here, haha. It's worth remembering. I also stayed at this hotel when I came back from the west. I tried to buy tickets for the Shanghai Table Tennis Super League for a long time but failed.

JJamesThis place is excellent if you’re a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if you’re willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldn’t necessarily call it family friendly, but it’s definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you can’t get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but it’s an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. I’m needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you aren’t willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, next to Millennium Park, and the rooms facing the park have a wide view. There is a supermarket and a restaurant downstairs, which is quite convenient. The room is average, large in size, but the facilities are relatively old.
However, the hotel has no swimming pool, only a gym, and no breakfast restaurant. These two points are deducted, which also surprised me a little, thinking that these two items should be standard for luxury hotels.
I booked a room with breakfast, because there is no restaurant, and I can only eat by delivering the meal to the room. But the hotel breakfast rules are unreasonable. Although there is a breakfast limit of 31 dollars per person per day (corresponding to the breakfast set of 30-31 dollars on the menu). But this limit does not include the delivery fee, service fee, and tax. It means that you have to pay 30 dollars out of your pocket to have a normal breakfast.
When checking out, after reporting the unreasonable policy to the hotel, the hotel promised to waive this part of the fee in the bill, but the bill received after arriving at the airport showed that the full breakfast fee was charged (including the price of the set itself), nearly 100 dollars per day. Finally, through the continuous communication between Ctrip and the agent, this part of the fee was refunded. The result is good, but the process is tortuous.

However, Ctrip completely failed to inform me that, besides the $15 city tax, there was also a $4 miscellaneous fee, and what's even more infuriating, a compulsory $25 charge. The staff member who checked me in deliberately withheld this information. After checking out, my card was then hit with exorbitant charges.

GGuest UserI was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.

In my whole life I barely give 2 stars feedback to property, honestly I just wanna give 1 star feedback but the residents are friendly and nice that why I add one more star for them. The location is really convenient, room setting is super clean and organization. However, the black old lady who works at front desk is really mean and rude, she tried to bully me when I was checking in. Her service attitude likes she's guest I'm staff, and I owed her money, too. After check in my mood is really down, so I can't get any reason is why I pay almost $400 a night come here to get treatment like that. If you come to check Chicago I won't recommend this hotel for, or if you like the hotel but don't come to check in around 11am-1pm on Saturday！
