Overall the hotel is good but i think only suitable for business travellers. Their is nothing surrounding and only a small shopping mall there. Not many restaurants but there are some thai food, Japanese food and kebab restaurants

Hotel Polonia Palace is a historical Warsaw hotel, dating back to 1913. Therefore, it is quite a beautiful structure. The location is in the very center of Warsaw, at the intersection of the two main streets. Also very close to the main train station and a subway station. The downside of the location is that it’s a very ugly area. Across the street is the Palace of Culture, is a Stalinist monstrosity which should be really torn down as soon as possible, paving way for the reconstruction of the pre-WWII center of Warsaw. The services offered by the hotel are generally very good. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The only downside is internet, which works in a less than ideal manner. Also very good value for money.

Originalmente, reservei um hotel diferente, mas ele foi cancelado devido a reformas. O Teip providenciou um hotel substituto, o que me deixou inseguro no início, pois não tinha informações prévias. No entanto, após o check-in, achei que era bastante razoável.
O hotel tem uma localização conveniente perto da linha 9 do bonde, que vai diretamente para a estação central — muito útil para me locomover. O quarto era limpo e tinha um tamanho razoável, embora não fosse muito espaçoso. Uma desvantagem é que não havia isolamento acústico — eu conseguia ouvir o barulho do trânsito, especialmente dos bondes e ônibus, que começavam às 5 da manhã, o que dificultava dormir.
Também tive um problema com minha passagem aérea e precisei fazer ligações dentro da Polônia. A equipe do hotel foi muito prestativa e me permitiu usar o telefone sem cobrar nenhuma taxa extra. Agradeço muito o apoio deles durante aquele período estressante.

The hotel is good , located near to Airport and easy to reach from central station. Check-in was smooth. Breakfast was really good with hot and cold serve both handle. Multiple options which also suites the kids.

Localizado muito perto do aeroporto e de um shopping center. Perfeito para estadias curtas ou longas. Não pague a mais por um quarto com ar-condicionado no inverno, pois eles são desligados até o verão.

I had a great stay here! I requested a high-floor room facing the central station where the Palace of Culture and Science is, and I got a lovely room! The view from my room was GORGEOUS. It was made even better because I could open the windows. The air-conditioning was not as cold as I would have liked, so I opened the windows for the natural air-conditioning at 10°C. The air-conditioning will auto-shut once you open the windows. For that, I would like to thank the staff who attended to my check-in and gave me this lovely room. The location is walkable, a straight walk from the central station. The tram to Stare Miasto stop (Castle Square) is just downstairs at the hotel. Nowy Swiat is within walking distance. There are a lot of restaurants and a few convenience stores around the hotel area. Zlote Tarasy (shopping mall) is where the central station is. Shops are closed on Sundays, though.

WOW!! Can't believe the value for the price we paid!! It was a quiet, nice and spacious room, sparkling clean, excellent staff and service, bathroom super nice, and we also ate breakfast at the buffet, which was delicious, and had great and many choices. One of the best hotels we've ever been to. Will come again and highly recommend it.

Internet in the room is a bit slow and unstable, other than that the facility in the room is quiet decent.
Location is really good, it takes around 5 min to reach the airport by walking.

Ggelatalon the first night of my stay, i was assigned a room designed for disabilities without any notice. since it was late and i was exhausted, i didn’t think much of it, but i noticed something felt off.
next evening, after taking a shower, i realized the entire bathroom was soaking wet and extremely slippery that i almost fell. then i was checking my booking receipt, i noticed the room i booked was supposed to have a different bathroom layout. when i raised this issue with the front desk, they admitted that due to overbooking on the first night, they had reassigned me to a room for disabilities without informing me.
this design is clearly unsafe for someone unfamiliar with it, and the hotel staff showed no sincerity in addressing the issue. what's worse, they didn't even offer an apology. instead, they simply asked me what I wanted. this is unacceptable—they failed to inform me of the room change on the first night and didn’t take responsibility when I brought it up.
eventually, after I insisted, they upgraded me to their best room and offered two days of complimentary breakfast. however, all of this only happened because i demanded it—the staff showed no initiative. they really need better training.
the first photo shows the fruit they sent as an apology. and the second, third photos shows the conditions of bathroom for disabilities.
第一晚入住時，已經很晚了，酒店人員在沒有通知我的情況下，給我安排了一間傷殘人士的房間。
由於太疲倦了，所以只是感覺房間怪怪的，但並沒察覺有什麼問題。直到第二天晚上，洗完澡之後，整個廁所也是濕的，我差一點就要滑倒。
再看看之前預訂時的收據，發現房間的廁所根本不應該是這個樣子，繼而我到酒店大堂理論，他們才告訴我，因為第一天晚上時候，訂單太滿了，所以才為我安排這樣的房間。
可是你要知道，這樣的設計，正常人洗澡，是真的很容易滑倒。他們不但沒有誠意的道歉，只是詢問我想要怎樣。
說實話，這難道不是酒店的問題嗎？第一天並沒坦白這不是我原本所訂的房間、繼而我發現後，亦沒作出任何相應的措施、道歉。
最後在我要求下，他們給我換了最好的房間，另外給我送了兩天免費的早餐。不過，這通通都是我要求的，酒店人員真的有需要再培訓。

DDaffidAt beginning I’d like to say that it’s in the quite good location. Easy to walk to the center or catch some bus. Biedronka on the ground floor also useful. Staff very friendly and helpful, tower A has a 24-hour reception. I chose the room ”Superior”, at first glance it looked great, however, after a closer look you can notice some tiny cracks in the wall and tiny scuffs on the wall. Kitchen basic equipped, countertop in one place cracked (MDF laminate), you can already see the tooth of time in this room. Cabinets don’t close properly (hinge torn out), on the plus side, washing machine (but no powder/capsules) and dishwasher (one capsule for a stay of 3d day), which was held on one screw in the cabinet, sometimes there was an unpleasant smell from under the sink. Living room nice, TV a little old, but has many channels even foreign, sofa comfortable. As for the bathroom, there is nothing to complain about, nice, there was gel and hot water, only the white towels had small red spots(maybe some lipstick?). The bedroom is also in good condition, fresh bedding, TV, the only problem was the hard touching door and the non-functioning led behind the bed.
In summary, certainly on the plus side air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, cleanliness of the bathroom, friendly staff, free wifi. On the other hand, the downsides that I remember the most are the problem with the bedroom door(probably fell on the hinges) and problems with the cabinets in the kitchen - torn out hinge and (ATTENTION!) failure to meet the deadline for returning the deposit, I had to wait a whole month (only after not accepting the transaction, the bank reversed the payment)! I also wrote an e-mail about this, but did not receive a reply.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. The location is super close to the airport, making travel very convenient. Cching ching.chingThe hotel is close to Chopin airport, just took any taxi, it costs £6 to there... Good to rest in transit flight, as the restaurant serve food till 11pm, the breakfast is excellent, with fresh press carrot juice etc... very comfortable and nice layout.
The facilities are family friendly, with a children area with x box to play, my son keen on playing, but ends up within 1 hour as the games no fun to him... Ha..ha... But me and husband can have a restful breakfast time..
Better to book breakfast with package as cheaper....
The free airport transfer is free for booking 6am-10am, my pm flight doesn't benefit, good to go to old town, but my jetlag put me off, only manage to go to a local supermarket (Carrefour) with Uber on a Sunday, not many supermarkets) shops open...
The room is very comfortable... The toilet has no washing hand facilities but the separate shower rooms has it .... Swapping will be good for a practical reason....
It's good hotel for transit flight with everything you needs within the building... Especially for a family.

SSeat 2AComfortable and contemporary hotel in an emerging business district, 3 Metro stations from Old Town. The nearest Metro stop is right beside the hotel. Radosla at Reception in particular was very warm, welcoming and displayed initiative in solving a few issues for me.
Stable, free and fast Wi-Fi, a soft though comfortable mattress, instant hot water and effective heating meant that all the basics were done well. Complimentary packet of dark chocolate was a nice, unexpected touch.
Overall a good value proposition.

GGuest UserI booked the hotel, cause I had previously stayed in it overnight to go to the airport. Was given two single beds and fell off one whilst sleeping. So i specifically booked for a king size bed on this trip, only to arrive and be told they had single beds made into a double bed. I ended up settling for the room that smelt better and bed seemed more sturdy, Intial floor I was on smelled like sewage, same with the room. Previously stayed in the other golden tulip, so I kept comparing experiences. Breakfast was just there, hot meals options were limited in some days and others you had to order off a small list of options. Because of language barrier, I engaged mostly on need led basis, but still all the times I walked passed the reception I Just kept getting akwards stares from the receptionist, no hello, just long awkward stares, I get that from random people on the street, but I didn’t expect that in a place where I am paying to stay. The only good encounters were from the housekeepers.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Warsaw Centrum, and overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The location is central and convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is excellent. I truly appreciated the attention to detail from the staff and the overall ambiance of the hotel.
However, there are a couple of areas where improvements could be made. The ventilation system in the room wasn’t working properly, which could have been uncomfortable if not for the fact that the windows could be opened for fresh air. Additionally, the TV was essentially unusable for streaming, which might be inconvenient for guests who want in-room entertainment.
Despite these minor issues, everything else about my stay was outstanding, and I would still highly recommend the Mercure Warsaw Centrum to anyone visiting the city. If the vent system and TV functionality are addressed, this hotel would be absolutely perfect.
