The room was spacious and comfy beds. It comes with free breakfast, which is good. Breakfast was alright, the same food every morning. The only thing that lets us down is one of the staff in the restaurant. We sat there for ages waiting to be served. Because he won't be serving us not until 8pm. So we've waited patiently, because we have just arrived that night and was very hungry. This man was serving other people, but not us. So my husband and I were wondering what's going on. So my husband went to the till and queued up. But when it's my husband's turn, he asked, ”Who's next?? Obviously, my husband was in front of him. Then, when my husband asked if we could order now, he looked at him and me and saying ”Oh, just wait to your table, and I will get your order from there. . Maybe because I am the only Asian there. I feel like there's a bit of ****** to be honest. We went back to our table and waited to be served again. But he didn't turn up and served the next table beside and served some other customer who came after us. I was so mad and upset. But I don't want cause a scene. So we we just went out and looked for another restaurant outside the hotel. We're so disappointed, and we didn't expect to be treated like that. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I just forgot his name. But the one at the restaurant is not nice at all. He ruined our family holiday. We won't be coming back anymore there.

Been going to the Marine Hotel visiting family for about 10 years always had a lovely stay❤️

Average level for the hotel , but the price is matching to the environment, so it is not a problem

Very clean and modern hotel just a short walk from Stockton High Street (incidentally, only 16 minutes walk from Thornaby rail station which is the better option than Stockton station itself - ironic that the town that gave us the railways has a mostly abandoned rail station!) Reception staff were friendly and efficient allowing me to check in early to get to the Stockton Calling festival. Buffet style breakfast didn't disappoint either! Will definitely be returning!

The room was nice , had everything i needed and clean, the host was very responsive and respectful and had great communication throughout the stay. The location was close by to the town centre which allows for easier travel to different places. Would definitely recommend to anyone else

Gorgeous hotel in a good location for exploring the surrounding area. Delicious cooked to order breakfast and the restaurant for dinner was superb. Room was comfy and warm would happily stay again

place is convenient for business travellers. Hotel is clean and tidy.
