Beyond my expectation. Service is at tip top. Walkable to many places of interest within 400m. The receptionists were so helpful giving directions as where to go and assist to call for cab anytime i needed the service. Remarkable housekeeper aunty, asking me need not wait for my laundry as she will make sure it is all done and will deliver to my room, she even drop me a note after sending the laundry on my bed. Got a upgraded family room which was spacious and on the high floor. The hotel 7th floor has a small pool and nice view of the Jingjang Wangfu background and the ancient city. They do served tea at 3pm with some nice cookies and desserts, breakfast was awesome with order to make famous Guilin Noodle soup. Highly recommend this hotel for personalize service and a comfort room. Would rate it 5/5. 酒店位置很好，房间卫生很干净，设施设备很齐全，有洗衣房健身房提供，一楼大堂还有免费咖啡提供，大堂环境也很好，宽敞明亮，前台服务员水琳服务很好.

The staff, amenities and services were great in the hotel. Here are some highlights: 1. Helpful staff We got room upgrades upon check in. They also helped us book the LiRiver cruise plus the transportation to the cruise port. They also have delicious sweet soup delivered to our room at night. 2. Comfortable room and beds The room was equipped with a table and big chairs, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. 3. Stunning views We had dinner at the Cloud restaurant at the hotel. Even though the food at the dinner didn’t amaze us, the view from the restaurant was amazing. 4. Tasty breakfast There are a lot of selections at the breakfast buffet. We really like all the local specialties, i.e. RedBeanRiceCakes, TofuNoodles, GuilinRiceNoodles. We all feel it tasted a lot better than the dinner. Overall, we had a great experience at Li River hotel. I would rate it 5 out of 5 of every things.

Stayed for 3 nights at this lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. I would recommend to friends and family. If there was one thing to improve, I think smoking and non smoking rooms should be completely separated - the hallways were filled with the smell of cigarettes and it also filled my room but otherwise, I would stay here again.

It’s one of the best and most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in for quite awhile! The room was spacious and cozy but the real gem was the view of the river and mountains! Splendid views day and night. The hotel grounds are filled with multiple activities for people of all ages. Hotel breakfast was delicious too. The staff at front desk were also helpful, kind and polite. One of them helped us to order food delivery too! Although the location of the hotel is not in downtown, the peaceful atmosphere makes up for it. We slept so well thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet environment. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The photo-taking sessions that were offered free exceeded our expectations. The shots taken were highly professional, tempting us to purchase beyond the free pictures that were allocated to us. My wife was extremely happy with the photos and commented that the pictures taken were remarkable. Thanks again for their great efforts to make our stay memorable. Forgot to mention that breakfast, although it came with limited selection, offered surprisingly good local soup GUILIN NOODLE that surpasses many restaurant standards. An added bonus was the free shuttle service to the dock where the rafting took place and West Street, among other destinations within the vicinity. A gift upon our checkout was another surprise that delighted my wife and kids. On top of all these, the hotel is situated near many attractions.

We did not notice this as other listings we've seen usually indicate whether the room itself is smoking/non-smoking. Additionally the front desk didn't ask for our preference when we were checking in. We only noticed the stench after we had settled in and were ready to sleep. The room is also equipped with a soundproofing door but we were still woken up by loud noises from the hallway and the room above. Besides these issues the room was generally spacious and bedding was comfortable.

The hotel is not situated in the city centre, but it only takes you a few minutes cab/hired car ride to the city centre. It costs around RMB 10 to city centre where you can find more eateries. I love the beautiful hill scenery from my room, which is a kind of postcard view. After every dinners, I like walking in the spacious garden area outside the hotel lobby. Quiet, comfy and relaxing! I find some foreign tourists in the morning buffet session, so it must be a good choice for foreigners who might trust an international reputable hotel group.

The thing I was most impressed with was one of the drinks （within the afternoon tea service） they provide for free if stay in here. It is called the “after-raining” Yulong River. This drink has three layers which are tea, coffee, and cheezy cream. The way it mixes altogether seems exactly like the river. Beautiful and I loved it. The staff (her name is yuanyuan /xiao wei) was quite helpful. Arranged the baby's crib, and a wall thing under the mattress to prevent the baby fall off from bed as I asked. The hotel has a nice playground which my son loved. As I foreigner though there is not much staff fluent in English so if you cannot speak in Chinese, there are some times you might feel inconvenienced though. They provide us with free transportation service. So I used it to go to one of the sightseeing spots. The driver said he would pick me up at the same spot I got off but a different driver came so it took me a while to find the driver because the car was different. Therefore if you are not good at communicating in Chinese. Sometimes it is a hassle I would say. Also, the baby crib was a bit too small for my 90cm son. It was just the size they had.

This is certainly one of the best hotels you can book in Guilin !! We loved our stay here so much that we can't wait to come back and stay again for our next trip to China. Here are the highlights of our stay: 1) The hotel staff were all very friendly, especially the receptionist who checked us in when we arrived late at night. 2) The hotel building and our room are very clean and modern, with well maintained facilities and utilities 3) The view is simply amazing. Especially from our 270 Degrees View Suite on the 12th floor. 4) The spacious gym and pool (which is only for children) are also a nice addition 5) There is also a very useful washing machine and dryer 7) The rooftop area has some of the best views in Guilin 8) The location is fantastic and right what we needed, with quick access to local shopping centres and to parks/temples The things we recommend for improving: 1) There is not a lot of privacy from the toilet area which can be uncomfortable 2) The bed mattress is a bit more firm than what we prefer 3) The complimentary water provided by the hotel doesn't taste very nice (but this is a very minor inconvenience) Overall we can 100% recommend staying here and paying a little extra to book one of their amazing suites!

Amazing stay at the hotel, highly recommended! Staff were friendly and approachable, rooms were cozy and clean, service was prompt and efficient! Views in the area were stunning as well. Free shuttle to 西街 made it really convenient too, otherwise can also rent a scooter to explore the area. Special shoutout to 小薇，小顾，勤勤 for their help throughout. They were really patient with us and always checking in on WeChat if we needed anything. Really prompt and willing to help us with almost all our requests - giving us information on certain attractions when needed, helping us book the van/buggy between locations, giving us dessert, checking in on us throughout. Loved our stay here and would return back if ever in the area again. Price is on the higher end but for whatever is provided, you won't regret it one bit, it's worth every single dollar!

We have a great stay. The hotel was set up to provide the best experience for a family who wants to enjoy the beautiful Yangshuo area. On the first floor, you have a gorgeous lobby and a play area for the children. To accommodate the wondering minds of the kids, the hotel provided multiple acres of lawn for the kids to run around and enjoy. Then there are the bunnies. They are cute and their enclosure is cleaned daily. The room we had had a ball pit and an indoor tent for my girls to play in and they put them into good use for sure. On the fourth floor is the laundry. You will only see washers but they have the hanging type driers to dry your clothes in addition to normal hangers. The top floor features a small restaurant with a spectacular view of the Yulong River and Karst features behind it. The food is good and easily tastier than most of the street side restaurants out there and features dishes common and famous to the area, we had the beer fish and the stir fried mushrooms. It was savory and priced well below what they charge on West Street. On our third day, we went out and rented electric scooters around the river and for 35km we went around the hills and through villages. The hotel staff, 小张&小麦, welcomed us with warm smiles and drove us to west street for some dinner and shopping. What an awesome trip, this hotel was an highlight!

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

He was incredibly responsive and quick to assist with any request I had. Whether it was a simple question or a special need, Chad handled everything with a friendly demeanor and efficiency that truly enhanced my stay. Amazing stay at the hotel, view from the is amazing and the service is just top notch. Room size was huge and very well maintained. The hotel staff created a wechat group for us which is so convenient; we can ask/request for anything in the chat and replies were always prompt. There’s free transport from the hotel to 西街 till 8pm. There are also free breakfast, teabreak and even night dessert! Special shoutout to the butlers - 小王, 小岑和小姚, they are the most helpful and cheerful lot. They helped me with my many questions and were very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo!

The staff is really good. The view was amazing, plenty of food options. My friend is a vegetarian and so getting food at the hotel was also really nice to have. The staff at the reception helped us book cabs to the train station and there was hotel cab to the city center and they picked us up when requested as well from there. Would definitely love to come back and highly recommend everyone to come visit.

I had a wonderful time at Nanning Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, but it is the staff who made my stay. I was fortunate to meet Zhou Yu, the front of house manager, whose excellent English was very helpful. He and the other staff of this hotel went the extra mile to help me enjoy my stay. I thoroughly recommend the hotel!

Walking distance to wuxu airport and bullet train Wifi barely works, hotel shops were closed T3 airport being built and was some noise 24Hrs First 2 rooms smelt of wet carpet from the floods but hotel staff allowed us to choose another room to our satisfaction

The location is shopping mall, nearby have variety go food choice. The room is a bit dim due to some light spoilt. Had informed the front desk and hopefully will get it replace asap. Room cleanliness is satisfactory. Overall experience is 4/5.

Good hotel. The subway stop is literally 5 minutes walk away. You can take the subway from the translation. The hotel is connected to Wanda plaza during the day. There's a little market aswell behind the Wanda. The room was bigger than expected. Good check in. The bed is comfy good pillows. Would definetly recommend and stay here again.

A grand hotel although it is more oriental style. Very near Metro. Airport bus service is right at the hotel. Beautiful 南湖 is nice for morning and evening walk. We booked a double room. The front dest staff was very pleasant and able to help us when asking for free upgrade to executive, non-smoking room with fantastic view to the lake. The room was very spacious and comfy. Front desk was also efficient to help us solving small issue of the room.
