The Club River View room was absolutely amazing, directly facing the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower – the night view was so romantic! The housekeeping auntie decorated the room for our anniversary and even sent a cake, which was so thoughtful and heartwarming. The breakfast selection was rich, with both Chinese and Western options. The freshly made noodles and desserts were excellent! The overall service was meticulous and attentive. I'll definitely choose this place again next time! Club Lounge experience: Highly recommended! The juices were freshly squeezed, and breakfast was semi-buffet with delicious à la carte options.

Despite being 20 years old, the hotel is remarkably well-maintained. The rooms, hallways, and lobby all exude a sense of comfort. The rooms are fully equipped with practical amenities, avoiding unnecessary clutter. The swimming pool was a pleasant surprise – the views, cleanliness, water temperature, facilities, and service were all exceptional, making for an experience far beyond what I anticipated 👍. The revolving restaurant on the 45th floor is also worth multiple visits – highly recommended! The staff are incredibly well-trained, from the front desk to housekeeping, and the restaurant and gym staff, all providing warm, comfortable, and professional service. The price during the Chinese New Year holiday was also incredibly attractive! A truly wonderful experience!

But what was even more disappointing was the service. I went to the front desk to report the pool's condition, and the male staff member just listened coldly, showing no reaction whatsoever. It wasn't until I asked him, 'Don't you need to record this feedback?' that he calmly asked what happened and said he'd report it. Shouldn't they be proactive about this? If I hadn't asked, would he have just brushed it off? Your service should match your prices and star rating. As a local, I just wanted a relaxing night. I've stayed at several hotels around Lujiazui, and none of them had service like this. They couldn't even manage basic hospitality.

I brought my child to Shanghai for a few days before the Spring Festival, and after some comparison, I decided to stay here, which turned out to be a wise choice. First, the transportation is convenient. It's a 2-minute walk from Jing'an Temple Metro Station, which has multiple lines connecting everywhere. Taxis are also readily available. Second, there are plenty of shopping and dining options around Jing'an Temple. Third, although the room has a classic feel, it has everything you need. Finally, the service was excellent. Concierge Andy Sheng was very helpful, highly recommended!

While many hotels use King Koil mattresses, the one at Jinmao might be a higher-end model because it was significantly more comfortable. What really impressed me was the service: the hotel offers a shuttle service to Hongqiao Railway Station (reservations required), which is perfect for people coming to Shanghai Disneyland from neighboring provinces. After checking in, you can join their customer service WeChat group, and they respond very promptly. When you return from the park in the evening, you can even request a foot bath in advance to greatly relieve fatigue. They really pay attention to the details, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends!
