Lovely hostel, ~10 min walk to the centre of the town and it’s a lot of fun because of the stunning view of the lake. I stayed in a 2-bunk bed room for 4 nights with a man… As a girl, I didn’t feel comfortable at all. The guys were fine but I think the hostel should consider same gender policy for this kind of room. Also found it very strange that staff doesn’t give towels when people check-in. They only give when you ask. I went all the way to my room to realise the towel isn’t on my bed and another tenant didn’t even know they provided towels.

Good room, love how there is the privacy in all of the beds with close curtain, love the closeliness and cozy of the guest lounge. Wish there is a charger place right inside the beds.

Leviathan Hotel is a classic hotel with a nice interior of the common areas (wooden stairs, old fashioned furniture etc.) and an old style elevator and keys for the doors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My rooms is in the small side and if your want a super new and spotless hotel this one is a little bit old and worn which is part of its charm.

路邊停車，9點前免費，夜間停車很友好 一個大斜坡，箱子拖上去還是有些辛苦 樓上樓下都有衞生間，這點很不錯 浴室在一樓，不分男女 洗衣房9點-16點，這點不太友好，我們晚入住，我就洗不了衣服，收費的哈 整個設施都比較完善 對了，拖鞋，沐浴露洗髮水都需要自備 新西蘭全部都沒有牙刷牙膏和拖鞋，也記得自備 傳單被套，走的時候需要自己拆下來，丟到一樓的洗衣房 整個環境設施都很友好，值得推薦

Good hostel. Reasonable price and well equipped facilities. I would stay here if I come Oamaru again. One bad thing. There is no front desk. So guests always have to be aware of PIN that lets you get inside (even their room). So I had to bring my mobile even when I went to the toilet. If I had forgotten my room PIN, I couldn't open the door of my room.

It’s a huge hostel in the prime part of queenstown so it’s a mixed bag on who you’ll be sharing a room with. There isn’t really anywhere to put your things in the room and need your own lock for the small safety cabinets, and sharing 2-4 outlets with everyone in the room, but it’s clean and the bed is fine.

Cleanliness and facilities are average. The bathroom needs to be improved. There is a strong smell when I open the door. I need to open the door to let the air circulate to feel better. Other services and location are very satisfactory. There is a very beautiful beach nearby.

DDan WuangExcellent location and PIN code lock safety mechanism on major entries are helpful. Right next to Intercity coach pickup station which I rely for the whole journey in NZ. There are elevator thus no worry on carrying my heavy huge luggage and hand carried. I stayed in 6 dormitories ensuite. Rooms are bigger and there are a huge storage for each resident. Extra lockers and storage can be found outside the bunk should you need more space. Towel is provided as well. Very quiet at night thus can sleep well. Kitchen is huge and I still find space to put my groceries inside the fridge and cubicle outside. Will be back to stay for a couple of nights when I am back to Queenstown.

GGuest UserVery impressive and clean facilities. Didn't feel like a hostel. The huge kitchen was very well equipped with many microwaves, stove, etc. Even air-fryer ! Cutlery and cookware are top-notch and well-organized. The fridge has clear instructions. Free food from past guests were organized accordingly. Dining area and lounge area are like cafe setting ! The washing machine and drying machine are easy to use. Staff was very kind to assist as I inserted wrong coin into the wrong slot and was refunded the money. Highly recommended !!! New World supermarket is so conveniently next door. There's an open car park next to the park behind the hostel. Can park for free !

MMandy PuaThe hotel is located near town center, few minutes of walk can reach the octagon and it’s next to railway station. Very good location. The hotel was built around 1875 if not mistaken so the room is very very vintage and old. Most of the amenities in room look old especially the bath tub look dirty and room space is quite small. A lots of parking space provided by the hotel and it’s opposite of the hotel.

VVKyaIf you are traveling alone, I recommend staying here! The service attitude is good, there is enough space for luggage, each bed has curtains that can be drawn, each bed also has a charging hole (bring your own socket) and lights, and the bathroom provides shower gel, which is better than Nomads😅

__CFT010000002124****The motel's location is a bit out of the city center, so a car is essential for getting around. You can park right in front of your room. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including pots and pans. The male owner was very responsible. On our first night, the AC wasn't blowing hot air, and we woke up freezing at around 5 AM. We talked to the owner the next day, and he explained that the thermostat was set too high, preventing the AC from kicking in. He then restarted the outdoor unit and got it working. He even proactively knocked on our door to check if it was working correctly and brought us a small space heater. The owner also provided a small map, showing us places to visit in the city and how to get there.

CChaojiniubaobaoWooden house, walk up and sloppy, have to be light. There is no separate toilet, about two or three houses share a toilet plus a bathroom. The facilities in the house are cute and have a heart. Check in according to the password, it will be troublesome to miss the email. . Anyway, I was looking for a long time. The single bed is very narrow and foreign countries are the same.
