This hotel was for my business trip. Since the main building was full, I was assigned to another building. There was no drinking water in the room, and the toilet was broken and couldn't be fixed. I wouldn't recommend it for leisure travel, and the breakfast was quite monotonous. On the bright side, the service was decent.

It's very close to Spring Hill subway station, making travel convenient. Walmart is also a few hundred meters away. The price is cheap and breakfast is included. I felt it was a good deal staying for two nights.

Bardzo przyjemny i komfortowy hotel. Pokój bardzo czysty, z wygodnym dużym łóżkiem w rozmiarze ”Queen size”. Śniadanie w porządku, ale bez rewelacji. Jest to tradycyjne śniadanie, jakie zwykle serwowane jest w hotelach podobnej klasy w USA, czyli jajecznica, tosty i kawa. Reasumując - dobry hotel w dobrej cenie. Na krótki służbowy pobyt, jak w moim przypadku, jest to idealne rozwiązanie. Polecam.

The hotel is very nice, it is a small town next to it, there are some supermarkets and so on. Generally speaking, it is very good, and there is Mercy next to it, but it is older.

There are airport transfer shuttle bus to the hotel, for every 30 minutes. The service starts in the early morning so even early departures can also use it. The facilities are good and convenient.

DDayTripper420Just passing through on the way South. Went to service desk, they were extremely polite and courteous, so kudos for that. Then they hit me woth the price tag of $159 for the night. ”NO WAY” is all I thought, so I went online and found a booking here on Trip.com for $102. I jumped on it. I was tired, hot, and a little aggravated from the trip, so the price on Trip.com was a relief.
I started looking around and thats when I realized that the amenities all cost. They had complimetary coffee, so YaY!
Got up to the room, it was clean. Unloaded for the night, and it was finally showertime! I do my thing, get into the shower, which was a handicapped shower. It had a chair and a detachable showerhead for those hard to reach places. Well, this is where the problems started. This showerhead was supposed to be able to be locked into position on the pole provided, you k ow, for people that can stand. Well, the damn thing didnt lock. Nope, it stayed at crotch level, and so I was forced to use the detachable showerhead.
Whatever, a shower is a shower, and boy, this shower was GREAT! Then, after my shower, I discovered that they must have wanted me to take a bath afterwards. This is because the entire bathroom floor was flooded from my shower water, and the floor was definitely not graded towards the drain, so to clean it up, one would either need a wet/dry shop-vac or a squeegee, and wouldnt you know it, I left both of mine back North, hundreds of miles away!
I ended up using the towels to basically squeegee the water to the drain and get the floor cleaned up. I wasnt aware they kept their guests on the housekeeping payroll! My partner was unable to shower cause it would have caused another mess.
So, besides the fact that if they could have charged for tap water and air, they would have, and the pool waiting for me after my shower, I had a really good stay. The bed was so comfortable I had trouble getting out of it in the morning, and the complimentary coffee turned out to be fresh. The staff understood my concerns and were extremely friendly about providing their information for when I contacted trip.com for my refund.

GGuest UserChecked in really late (around midnite but they held my room. I called ahead to let them know I'd be flying in late. Conveniently located on one of the major arteries, which incidentally conveniently ends at the US Coast Guard Training Center. I attended my son's training graduation but his checkout went long - probably because their NCO missed them and didn't want them to leave....so I ended up checking out of the hotel much later than the standard checkout time (11am - I checked out just after 1pm) - but because it was USCG related - they waived the late fee - which was greatly appreciated.
The entrance was easy to park (it was raining) and checkin was really simple once we confirmed my reservation. The breakfast nook was directly opposite the checkin counter which made things easier for later that morning (included breakfast). The elevator hallway had a machine which dispensed junk food and sodas - but you need physical cash to use them. Elevator made for deja vu as it's a standard Radisson layout. The room was clean - no weird smells and quite large and spacious with a receiving room (sofa and tv) hot water pot for coffee tea etc. The bathroom was well stocked with towels but the body wash was weirdly located next to the bathroom sink instead of the shower - that was strange. Hand soap was nice and sizable (useful as a body wash, given the fixed location of the body wash next to the sink). The bed was huge (king?) with plenty of pillows and bedding (sheets blankets etc). The room was quite warm which was nice since it was cold and wintery and wet outside. Staff were all very very nice and welcoming and polite.
All in all - most excellent experience from checkin to checkout. But it's the staff which make the experience smooth and enjoyable.

AAimilidouThe room was very nice, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the airport driver pick-up was very convenient. Suitable for passengers entering and leaving the airport. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with luggage storage and Wi-Fi! Worth recommending!
There is also a business work area in the lobby where you can use computers to print documents and handle business.

SSun_shine___17Friendly staff, slow checkin, even though we had pre-checked as BonVoy member. Huge costume party in the conference room. Sound didn’t bother us. No real restaurants, but a bar and grill. Limited menu, but the food was ok. Room a little dingy. Sheets torn on bed. Hotel gives the appearance of being tired. Needs a refresh.

GGuest UserThis is a lovely hotel! It's classy and elegant, and overall it'll make your vacation that much more special. The location is great, as you can walk to restaurants or other places in Luray. The Luray Caverns are a quick drive away, as is a Walmart and Food Lion, and Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap Entrance is close by. I ate at the Circa '31 restaurant for breakfast, which was reasonably priced (the menu is small with a few standard breakfast options). Free coffee and muffins in the lobby at all times. The Speakeasy restaurant is very good, and has various specials/deals each night. The bedrooms are small, but comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, with an area for bonfires and hammocks, as well as a pool and hot tub area. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
A few recommendations for the management:
~Put mini fridges in the rooms
~Put chairs on the balcony so people can use it as a sitting area
~Something to provide more counter space in the bathrooms
I recommend the Mimslyn Inn to anyone staying in the Luray area!

GGuest UserThe good is my room was both clean and well stocked, the bed comfy. The bad was the wifi on the TV was having a problem so it didnt work. Also, understand that their free shuttle has limited hours so when I chose this hotel I didn't get to use it after 11pm when I arrived or when I left at 7am so I didn't save as much money vs fancier hotels after spending $42 in taxi and Lyft rides to and from Dulles. Overall it is a great budget option.

BBlissOctaviaIt was amazing!!! Thank you. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Customer service was awesome. Will consider this location again. My only gripe is that the 50th MCM was this weekend. It’s unfortunate that breakfast times were not adjusted for runners.
Even having quick little bags with bananas, granola bars, orange slices, water or OJ would be very considerate. One day I didn’t even use my breakfast voucher so I felt like I wasted my money.
Some of my friends had that marathon breakfast bag and I would have loved it too for the marathon day and shakeout run at the National Mall. Just something to consider. Thank you!
