"Hotel is very close to train station but quite far from the city. There are buses from the train ststion to the mountain resort. The room is very clean and with high tech facilities.Robot to deliver requests to the room. With the room rate charged it's very good value."

"The hotel location is strategic; many shops nearby the area. Apart from that, it's newly renovated with a huge size bedroom. It has a comfortable and clean king size bed with toilet, washroom and sink; all separated. We can open 3 pieces of luggage at the same time! Furthermore, it's a modern hotel embedded with robots to control the lighting, curtains, etc... The receptionist even arranges for a robot to deliver us a shower cap and bath towels (very advanced hotel). On the final day, the staff even called didi to fetch us to the airport, complimentary service. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and definitely chose this hotel again if we were to visit Chengde again although the breakfast is not fantastic but it doesn't matter to us. Recommend to stay!"

"If you’re a foreigner traveling to Chengde, I would totally recommend that you stay at this hotel!
The location is great! It’s close to three temples - Puning Temple, Waiba Temple and Putuo Temple. Also, it’s a 15 min walk to the Chengde Museum. By car, it’s about 8 minutes to the Summer Resort (or a 50-minute walk if you like walking 😄).
People are friendly and nice at the hotel. They spoke to me in Chinese, but because I speak Chinese. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a lovely stay, helping me with delivery and buying tickets for the Kangxi Ceremony.
If I go again, I’ll definitely stay there again.

"New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base."

The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. Es waren draußen fast -20 Grad, aber innen war es wohlig warm. Der Besitzer hat uns gute Tipps für die Wanderung auf der Mauer gegeben. Das hausgemachte Essen war überaus köstlich. In den Zimmern hängen wunderschöne Fotografien der Mauer, die der Besitzer selbst angefertigt hat. Egal was wir benötigt haben, sie haben sich bestens und rührend um uns gekümmert. Vielen lieben Dank für die wunderbare Zeit! Wir werden wiederkommen 😊

Transportation by car was arranged to and from the train station as well as for heading up the hill at 6am to the Jinshanling great wall park entrance to catch sunrise from the Great Wall at the top. It is possible to just walk up to the gate instead, it just takes longer to walk the 2 km to the ticket checking gate, and there is then still some maybe 15 mins of walking uphill before getting to the top. Photos show the view from my room, the menu of the hotel restaurant, dinner (尖椒豆片炒肉), and breakfast (fried rice and soup).

GGeneric UserI don't normally bother to write reviews, but this place is truly deserving of one. Our stay at Anaya was amazing to say the least. The place was so beautiful and serene, rivaling many of the luxury ryokans in Japan but with their own modern twist. We stayed in the queen room, and it’s fairly simple but more than adequate and comfortable. The in-room drinks and snacks were delicious, and they provided an additional special treat each day, which was an experience on its own. There wasn't a television, but we never felt that there was a need for one. It was a place where you can truly focus on unwinding and take things slow, but when needed, the Wi-Fi speed is sufficient for streaming on your own devices. The hotel is unique where you can just do everything within their compounds without needing to travel anywhere else. We really loved the Japanese bookstore, which is a must-visit, and spend some time admiring the garden next to it. They provide activities as well, so you will never feel like there is nothing to do. The spas are also highly recommended, which in fact warrants a trip all on its own even if you do not stay at the hotel. One of the spas is a re-purposed factory, and it's a truly unique experience which will appeal to architecture enthusiasts. Food was a little pricey, but you have a lot of options, and the ones we had were great. They even had their own provision shop for you to stock up on snacks and drinks. One of the main factors that truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from Zhi Hui. She went above and beyond to share her personal contact in order to make sure we were well taken care of, answering our questions promptly and making arrangements for us. She even followed up with us after our departure to make sure we arrived at our next destination safely. The other staff around the hotel, including the restaurants, were also very friendly and helpful. There was even a sweet young lady selling what they harvested from the mountains as well as small snack stores, one of which was operated by a very friendly lady selling Japanese-style desserts. Our interactions with the people all felt really genuine and sincere. The experience wouldn't have been so wonderful if it weren't for our very pleasant experience with the people working in and around the hotel. They normally use a multi-seater buggy to ferry guests around, but when we were caught in the rain, they actually arranged a car to pick us up instead. Anaya Lanya Hotel is simply extraordinary, and we cannot recommend it enough.

Service was good they told us about some tours they offer discounts on and a cool show about an emperor that has like 300 actors in it. Was cheaper than just buying it at the location
I booked this because my wife said it was more “central” it was not. Kind of in the middle of nowhere tho near a temple we did visit. The other hotels are near the river and you can walk and see some real nice bridges and lighted up streets.
The photos make the building look really cool. While the photos aren’t fake it’s way smaller than I thought it would be.
The room itself was kind of small. Like half the size of the phoenix hotel and is only 4 floors so not much of a view. Mine was of a parking lot.
Bathroom was nice the toilet was automatic and had a heated seat.
No breakfast. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable and not much of a view. Did have a shopping center next door and taxis stopped near it.
Kind of pricey but that was because of the 7 day holiday they had. I stayed at phoenix the week before and it was 200 rnb cheaper, nicer, more modern, twice the size, nicer shampoo/soap and had free breakfast.

LLika DatuashviliIf you want a getaway from beijing heat, this place is really close and easy to get access to, stuff is really friendly and this place looks like a heaven. The whole stuff did their best to make my stay cery comfortable, offered some free cocktails, even took me back to the train station because I left very late. Views are amazing, in the evening it’s chill, overall , I had really amazing and relaxing 2 days at this place.

The facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast offers a rich and delicious variety. The staff are also incredibly warm and attentive. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and you can even spot many cute little animals. I'll most likely be back to stay again~!

UUsuário convidadoWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

RRonSnijA nice hotel with a great location near the Jinshanlin mid-gate. From the hotel, we took two long and beautiful 10km walks along the Great Wall. The room we stayed in for two nights was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent. It's a large hotel, and unfortunately, there were few other guests. The private car transfer to Beijing, which we arranged through reception for an agreed-upon price, ultimately wasn't handled well and caused us considerable frustration. After leaving, it turned out the driver wasn't allowed to enter Beijing's inner ring road with his car, and shortly afterward, he suddenly asked for a higher price for the ride.
