"Lovely place with a nice outdoor seating area where you can order a BBQ. Lovely breakfast and free coffee. The rooftop pool is lovely to escape the heat. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly. Remote location but perfect if you want to escape the city. There is the option to charter a taxi into the city for 50 rmb if no Didis are available. Will come again!"

"The room was incredibly small. I asked if there was an elevator, and they said they did. They did, but they gave me a room on the sixth and a half floor. I was even afraid of the half-flight staircase, as there were so many rooms on each floor. The night I slept there, a **** kept yelling, "Is anyone there?" almost ten times. I had no idea why. There was a smell in the room, like stinky feet. That's it. My stay wasn't great, and they even offered me ten yuan to write a good review. I don't know what they were thinking. The only good thing is that it's super close to the Summer Resort, so you can walk everywhere."

"Overall, I was very satisfied. There were free coffee, tea and mineral water in the room. The front desk lady learned that we had a small party and specially adjusted a large room for us. The room was spacious enough, just right for the four of us to have a small party (2 people stayed). The room was close to the street but there was no noise. I will come again for a small party in Chengde next time."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Chengde South Station. It's clean and the bed is very comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the central air conditioning is a bit loud. However, Chengde is cool in the mornings and evenings, and even in the shade during midday."
