stefanimumuThe hotel has a minimalist design. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room, and the water was beautiful on a good day. There are two small, enclosed beaches, but the sea was still quite cold in May. The two pools close early and apparently won't be open late until September. There are a few massage hot spring pools which are quite comfortable. For breakfast, sometimes you have to get a number and wait for a table. The French toast with cream and jam was super delicious, the bread was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pudding bread was also good. Overall, the desserts and bread were outstanding. The dishes varied daily. On the first day, there was freshly grilled steak, and the bitter melon scrambled eggs were very tasty. On the second day, there was Agu pork hotpot.

7D7A7N7The ultimate choice in Okinawa! Stunning beach, caves, and perfect family vibe
Our second room was just as wonderful. If you are looking to stay on the main island of Okinawa without taking extra flights to outer islands like Ishigaki, this is hands down the best hotel for a family vacation with kids.
What we absolutely loved:
* Stunning beach and nature: The beach is perfect and super safe for children. There is an incredibly beautiful, winding path along the shore. The rocky coastline, scenic caves, and lush tropical plants make walking around a magical experience.
* A winning hotel chain: We highly recommend combining your trip with their sister property. If you do travel to Ishigaki, stay at ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort—it is easily one of the finest hotels on that island. Both resorts represent the absolute top tier of hospitality.
* Flawless service despite flight issues: Our only complaint about the entire trip goes to ANA Airlines, as our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by 8 hours, which was quite exhausting. However, this is strictly an airline issue. It has nothing to do with the hotels themselves and their wonderful, dedicated staff who did an impeccable job.
The local Okinawans at the resort are the sweetest and most welcoming people. Between the brilliant service, incredible nature, and great facilities, this was a dream vacation!

The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants.
Service Issues
• Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway.
• Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive.
Room Quality
On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

I would say it's quite an old hotel but rooms were big. We had a corner room with it's own kitchenette, a sofa area with tv and 2 single beds.
We initially wanted to combine the bed as we have a toddler with us but it wasn't a viable option as the bed frames were built attached to the wall. Room is rather dirty even though we requested for room cleaning, I could feel the floor abit dusty and sticky. The bathroom curtains were also cold and had mould at the bottom (the part that's most often in touch with water).

HofamilyOutstanding Family Resort Experience
We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this resort to families visiting Okinawa.
The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our holiday memorable.
One of the best decisions we made was purchasing the Savvy Club package. It offered excellent value through discounts on restaurants and activities, and an added bonus was that lunch and dinner were complimentary for children under 12. For families, this made a significant difference and enhanced the overall experience.
The range of activities available was truly impressive. Beyond the usual water sports, there were opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and unique marine life programs. Our children especially loved the experiences with the sea turtles and dolphins, which became the highlight of the trip and created memories they will talk about for years to come. Swimming with the dolphins was particularly special and an experience we will never forget.
Another standout feature was the indoor water park. It was a huge hit with our children and provided the perfect alternative when the weather was either rainy or simply too hot to be outdoors. Having such a high-quality indoor facility meant there was always something fun for the kids to do regardless of the conditions.
What stood out most was the level of care shown by the staff. As we had a very early flight on our departure day, we informed the hotel that we would be checking out before breakfast service started. Without hesitation, they kindly prepared breakfast bento boxes for our family to take with us. It was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel’s exceptional hospitality.
From the facilities and activities to the outstanding service, this was one of our favourite family holidays. The children are already asking when we can come back, which says it all.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic!
Our itinerary primarily focused on the northern part of Okinawa: Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Genki Village, Busena Marine Park, Nago Pineapple Park, Nago Castle Ruins, and Cape Manza. So, we planned to stay here for 4 nights and then move back to Naha for the last night. It turned out to be the perfect choice!
The location in American Village is ideal. The surrounding commercial streets are bustling, making it super convenient for dining and finding food. My mom was worried about humidity staying by the sea, but it wasn't an issue here, and the commercial amenities are excellent. You can watch fireworks at night, creating a wonderful ambiance.
Life around here is very convenient. There's a small Aeon mall within a 5-minute walk where you can buy daily necessities like milk for children. There's also a gashapon store downstairs, and the kids loved playing there every time. There are tons of delicious restaurants nearby: the famous Gurume Kaiten Sushi Market, Shiki Teppanyaki, Kairikiya Ramen, and Red Lobster.
The hotel just opened this year, so everything is brand new. The hygiene and service are spot on, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children, with the older child being 6 years old. We booked a room for 5 people, which was a spacious 80+ square meters, featuring 4 beds, plus an extra bed in the living room. The space was incredibly generous. The kids could play and watch TV in the living room, and the balcony offered a direct view of American Village's nightscape, with fireworks visible on weekends.
The room felt very much like home, equipped with a washing machine with a dryer function, a large sofa, and a small kitchen with an induction cooktop. You can request utensils from the front desk. For cleaning, you can choose between partial cleaning (by hanging a tag) or full-house cleaning. If you opt for full-house cleaning, they replenish drinking water, toiletries, and laundry detergent, which is a very thoughtful touch. We had a very comfortable stay. It's a shame our itinerary was too packed, and we didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's pool and sauna.
I have to highlight the buffet breakfast! The taste was exceptional, featuring Okinawan specialties like Goya Champuru (stir-fried bitter melon with pork) and peanut tofu. The dishes rotated slightly each day, practically covering all the local Okinawan delicacies. The beef donburi, tacos, and noodles were also incredibly delicious. I loved combining the beef with sea grapes and placing them on top of the noodles; I ate it for four consecutive days and didn't get tired of it. There were also donuts and yogurt that the children loved. The whole family was very satisfied.
Overall, the value for money is excellent. After staying here and then returning to Naha, I felt that the commercial amenities in American Village could almost meet the needs of downtown Naha. Okinawa's only head-turning trendy store, 'Mad Rabbit,' is also here, and my brother was very happy to buy the clothes he liked. It's within a 10-15 minute drive to Parco City and Aeon Mall Okinawa Rycom, making shopping super convenient.
I highly recommend this hotel for families and large groups!

Guest UserI had a great stay at Hyatt. Everything was excellent, especially the buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious choices. The service and overall experience were very satisfying.
The only issue I would like to highlight is that the toilet had a noticeable urine smell, which affected the comfort of the room. I hope the hotel can look into improving the cleanliness and ventilation of the bathroom.
Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, and I appreciate the great hospitality.

Bianyanhua1978The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, so it's best suited for those traveling by car. However, the views from the hotel are truly excellent, and its private beach is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. That said, getting good weather in Okinawa really depends on your luck!

Guest UserThe hotel is very beautiful. The rooms, the facilities, the common areas. It is a plus they have complimentary water and iced/hot water dispensers in each floor. the spa was SO fantastic, although children are very very noisy. However, the jacuzzi is all worth it. The beach is VERY pretty, fantastic for a stroll. The room has a glorious sea view, and the bed, table and chairs, safety box, bathroom are top notch. The only but I would give to the room is that the bed is a bit too soft (mattress). Pillows, bedding, etc … lux quality. The parking facilities are fantastic too!! Overall we had a great stay. Arigato!!

Guest UserThe room was spacious and comfortable, though the pillows weren't the best. The hotel staff were all very good, but there seemed to be too few of them. When we checked out early, everyone was busy in the restaurant, and the front desk was unattended. It took us a while to find someone, even though we had already provided our departure and check-out times during check-in. The hotel has a great variety of recreational facilities, including multiple pools, snorkeling and diving excursions, as well as SUP and kayaks available by the shore. There's also a golf course. Dining at the hotel was convenient, and there's also an excellent certified Ishigaki beef restaurant nearby, plus a good Tri-Mountain ramen place.
