This is a really warm and cozy hotel. From the moment you step into the lobby, the kind and lovely front desk staff handle check-in with meticulous care. The room and restaurant service staff are polite, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. The self-parking area is spacious and well-organized. I highly recommend staying here.

Just 10 mins walk from the main train station. The hotel is amazing, befitting its international brand name. The layout of the bed, tables, internal decor, cleanliness, the thought put into the buttons for control of lighting, plus the placement and availability of sockets is in line of what I would expect for ”Hilton”. It has on-screen monitoring (in the room) of the laundry and dryer, negating the need to physically stay in the laundry room. Love the breakfast ! It has lamb and beef steak for breakfast. Good varieties of fruits, yoghurts and Chinese cuisine. I wonder why Hilton doesn't have similar hotels for other silk road cities such as Dunhuang or Jiayuguan. The reception staff is prompt and helpful in directions. Probably the only downside I can think of is lack of proper restaurants near or inside the hotel. We had to take a taxi or walk in 3 km (in -10C freezing cold) to get to the nearest mall. However, there is a mid-size convenient store adjacent to the hotel (across the traffic light junction). Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Worth paying the premium.

The hotel is located next to a river, albeit dry during the winter. It is about 20 mins fast walk to the nearest busy night market. The reception is fast and efficient, comes with free coffee (in a tea-oriented China, this is a rarity) for the guest, plus the mandatory buckets of tea (of course). The room size is spacious, adequate to place 2 big luggage, with sufficient space & hanger to lay out all the winter clothing. Bed is comfortable, and the room heater was warm to endure -15C outside. The only downside might be the non-cooling fridge which we solve by placing our stuff (milk & oranges) outside the window for natural cooling. As for the breakfast, it is Chinese oriented, with the typical northern Chinese dishes, ********* sausage and soy drink.

It is a new hotel just opposite Zhangye West hsr station. The room is big and clean with good amenities provided. Hotel breakfast was decent. It's got beef noodles and dumplings on alternate day. The DIY laundry room provides only 3 washers & 3 dryers whereby 1 dryer was out of service. It's pretty a long wait on my days of stay. Fruits and yogurts were sent up to the room everyday, which was very thoughtful.

Principalmente por ter sido recentemente renovado, as comodidades básicas do quarto são de primeira linha. As toalhas são excepcionalmente grossas e macias, o fluxo de água quente é forte e há condicionador disponível para acalmar cabelos embaraçados e ressecados. O chuveiro possui um grande piso de mármore antiderrapante. A paleta de cores do hotel imita os pigmentos minerais dos murais de Dunhuang, e a chave do quarto é uma lembrança única. Na minha primeira noite em Dunhuang, minha garganta estava irritada devido ao ressecamento, e quando reclamei, a equipe imediatamente trouxe um umidificador para o meu quarto. Depois de explorar as Dunas Cantantes, eu estava coberto de areia, e lavar as mãos não foi suficiente. A lavanderia self-service me limpou instantaneamente, provando que lavar as mãos realmente não remove as bactérias. Estava um frio de rachar lá fora, mas o lobby tinha água quente, café e biscoitos — perfeito para explorar as Grutas de Mogao e Yulin e depois desfrutar de uma boa refeição no mercado noturno. Este hotel também fica perto do mercado noturno, fazendo jus ao seu estatuto de marco histórico. Com certeza voltarei a Dunhuang com a minha família no próximo ano e reservarei este hotel novamente.

We returned to hotel after Dun Huang and all the services were at usual high standards from cleanliness, wonderful reception staff and adequate breakfast . However, the air conditioning was turned off with central heating on which was uncomfortable — better to allow temperature controls at individual rooms.

This is the most surprising stay out of all the hotels along China's silk road. AMAZING hotel with excellent staff. They are so so nice and helpful. They helped me to resolve a problem with food delivery. The hotel itself is clean and huge but the price is just unbelievably cheap. The temperature was just right, with a bathtub in even the cheapest types of room.

I had the best experience at this hotel. They went above and beyond everywhere! It's absolutely gorgeous, very clean, good room setup and incredible staff. I'd give them a 10/5 if I could. As it is, I'll definitely stay here again. They're very close to a bus stop (the best way to get around Tianshui) and the light rail. The river park is right across the street, and it's absolutely lovely. The breakfast was very good with Chinese and western options, and they even serve local options, which was exciting.

We were travelling as 2 couples so 2 rooms under the same booking. While my room was fine the other room had a leaking shower and my son and girlfriend ended up having to move from room 626 to 602 late at night. This should have been a known issue and that room should not have been given to us in the first place. Also they ended up having a room which was cheaper and we didn’t get any compensation for it so not happy with that.

The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, truly enormous! Even if it's peak season and a bit pricey, five people wouldn't feel cramped in there. 😂 The hotel is brand new, and all the facilities are excellent. I visited in March, and they had underfloor heating, air conditioning, a humidifier, and an automatic toilet. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated having both soft and firm pillows – I slept great for several nights. Breakfast was quite lavish for the area, and I personally loved it. They also provide plenty of bottled water in the room; you can just ask for more if you run out. The front desk even offers small items like masks. Indeed, the hotel has a comfortable Mercedes minivan for airport or train station transfers, and everyone seemed to have a great experience with it. Finally, they even gave me a windproof headscarf and a small camel souvenir. 😊 I'll definitely choose this place again next time; it's also very close to the night market.
