To my surprise, getting a taxi on the first night was super easy, so we extended our stay. While there aren't other guesthouses right around ours, we noticed a whole street full of guesthouses nearby, which seemed crowded and noisy. At night, lying in bed, you can hear the wind brushing against the walls, but it's not loud; it actually feels like being in harmony with nature. My husband and I also went gold panning – if you find gold coins, you can exchange them for prizes. It was the only hotel during my Hexi Corridor trip that delivered my luggage to the room and explained all the room's features – a service I usually only expect from luxury hotels. The breakfast was great; we left early every day, and breakfast was ready by 6:40 AM. From 9 PM to 11 PM, they also offer complimentary congee, cold dishes, and steamed buns. Each guest received a free bowl of delicious noodles during their stay. Ordering takeout to the hotel was also convenient. Although it's not a luxury hotel, the service left a lasting impression. No wonder so many families with children choose to stay here; we even saw a study tour group! I stayed here for 3 nights, and they were the best 3 nights of sleep I had on this Hexi Corridor trip. There were a lot of people in the hotel lobby on the night of check-in. The front desk said that they had received a study tour group of 500 people, which delayed the check-in time.
