"In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast ."

"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

"The Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didn’t quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good."

"Right by the Shi River, this is a large complex with a cloistered, garden-style design, reminiscent of the Winding Stream Orchid Pavilion. Upon entering the lobby, the interplay of light and shadow is immediately pleasing, with dappled reflections from the water mirroring the river outside. Even the basic rooms are spacious and come with a scenic balcony. The in-room lighting is intelligently controlled, including brightness, and features branded bathroom fixtures. The bedding has a high thread count, and the mattress is comfortable. **Service:** I checked in on August 1st, coincidentally in Jinzhai, a place deeply connected to the People's Army. The front desk mentioned it had just opened, which made for a very meaningful experience. All services are smart app-based, with quick responses – no need to even make a call; just a few taps for swift room service. **Value for Money:** I've stayed at several Kaiyuan hotels, including their high-end Fuchun Fangwai, but this one left the strongest impression, from service to facilities. I especially want to mention the breakfast; the quality wasn't compromised just because they recently opened. The variety is diverse, and the noodle bar is particularly delicious, haha. You could absolutely enjoy a staycation here."

"Room was spacious and comfortable, although sound insulation of walls, doors, and windows was not enough to prevent noise from neighbours or hallway and street even on 40th floor. Amenities are good and practical. Swimming pool and gym are great. Location is also very good. Service is variable. Staff is very friendly and responsible, but they need to pay a little more attention to simple English skills. However, breakfast and generally, foods in restaurant were not satisfactory enough. Western and international food is just a name. You can't really taste German Wurst or Italian pizza! The continental food, especially western breakfast, is quite ordinary, I'm talking about flavours and tastes, not quantity. It's not very eye-catching and for a five-star hotel as you would expect. Although, overall I recommend hotel."

"The regular economy rooms are enough to make you say wow. Good movie selection Mandarin or English. Indoor is oddly shaped but since it was my first summer stay it was also the first time I've seen it with more than 5 people. Great treadmills, they a multipurpose weight machine for maintenance lifting and dumbells upto 25kg. The location is in walking distance to western restaurants."
