"Wonderful stay with an amazing host! This is truly the best place for a night’s stay. The host was incredibly friendly and caring — we arrived around 9:30 pm, yet he was still waiting for us in person, even though he could have simply sent us the door code. That really touched us. Free parking was provided, and the room was unique, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The Hanok Village is just a stone’s throw away — simply cross the road and you can explore the heritage park with ease. I strongly recommend this place if you plan to stay a night and visit the Hanok Village. The host even gave us some souvenirs before we left! A truly memorable stay and excellent value for money."

"하운드호텔 아중지구점은 트립닷컴에 리뷰가 아직 없어서 다른 앱 후기를 찾아보고 예약했는데, 다른 곳에서 후기가 좋은 이유가 있더라고요! 가족들과 함께 이용하는 거라 스위트 객실로 예약했는데 생각보다 객실이 넓고 만족스러웠어요. 특히 객실 안에 따로 거실 공간이 있고 큰 테이블도 마련되어 있어서 음식 포장해 와서 가족들이랑 함께 먹고 이야기 나누기 정말 좋아용☺️ 가족 단위로 이용하기에 공간이 넉넉해서 답답한 느낌도 없었어요. 욕실도 두 개라 여러 명이 같이 이용해도 씻으려고 기다릴 필요가 없어서 편했고, 객실 전체적으로 깔끔하고 쾌적해서 편하게 쉬다 왔습니다. 평일이라 가격도 생각보다 가성비가 좋았는데, 이 정도 객실을 이 가격에 이용할 수 있다는 점이 특히 마음에 들었어요. 특히 주차장!! 갔덩곳중에 제일 넓은 거 같아요 가족들과 큰 차를 타고 방문했는데 주차 걱정이 없었던 것도 좋았습니다. 가족들과 편하게 머물 숙소를 찾으신다면 추천하고 싶어요. 다음에 전주에 가족들과 방문하게 되면 다시 이용하고 싶은 곳입니다 :)👍"

"The cost performance was so good. Just because it was under construction when I went, it was too busy and noisy, so it was uncomfortable. The room was big and the bed was large. I wanted to soak in a bathtub, but I gave up because I couldn't turn it to the hot water. The room is spacious and the TV is big. It's just that the Elbe is small, but it's not convenient to wait a little because it's one. It's a little inconvenient to be able to enter the room until 4 o'clock. The cleanliness was good and the shower gown and amenities were prepared. Anyway, it is definitely a spacious and clean hotel with a wide cost performance."

Genuinely the most amazing place to stay in Jeonju. The best accommodation we stayed in all of Korea. Very beautiful, amazing location, and the host is super lovely and kind, leaving treats every morning and helping with recommendations. Amazing value for money, so peaceful. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you are unsure of where to book, this is the place!!!

Brand new hostel. SELF CHECK-IN - be sure to get a message from the owner for security code to open door-- he may text it- does your ESim get texts? SHOES OFF signs- but not in listed Trip.com policies. 1 toilet, 1 urinal for potentially several dudes. Great kitchen, potable water dispenser, brand new mattresses, privacy blind eaxh bunk, bunk light and socket, small towel provided, A/C works great, very close to the Hanok Village, very close to bus back to train station. Place is brand new.

The value for money and location are the best. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are decent for the price. The staff are friendly, and the service and provided amenities (toiletries - toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, disposable coffee, plenty of towels, bottled water, etc.) are all top-notch. Regarding the slight noise at night, I consider it to be due to the guests' poor attitude rather than the W Motel itself, so I view it as acceptable. The parking facilities were spacious enough, so I used them without any inconvenience. The level of customer service at the front desk was also very appreciated. The floor heating worked well, making it very comfortable to sit on the floor late at night to chat or share snacks and drinks. The free internet and access to media, such as Netflix on the TV, were very convenient and great. I am also adding a review of Mexican Chicken, located near Motel W, as their service and quality were excellent.

Such a lovely, unforgettable experience of staying in a traditional hanok pension. Owners are kind and mainly Korean-speaking locals. They may not be there during check in, so remember the room name in your booking for easy identification, or inform them of your exact arrival time to ensure a smooth process. Our room was cosy but had a comfortable double bed, TV, cold water in fridge, Korean bath towels and clothes hooks. (Hot water kettle and mugs can be found in the mini lounge hut near the gate.) The spacious and separated bathroom was rare, and the ondol floor was such a warm treat in winter. We were even given freshly made tteok and honey as breakfast treats. Good value in the heart of Jeonju, within minutes walk of everything. Thank you for the hospitality! We had a healing stay.

Staying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience! I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :) After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea! If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️

A convenient enough location - at rhe extreme eastern edge of the Hanok village area - still within walking distance of everything you'd want to see and experience in Jeonju. Although refurbished plainly, the ”pension” room served its purpose - Hanok accomodation by the site. In my opinion, I think that the room was still undersized ((no room for even a chair or small table) while the washroom was bigger than needed. Small towels, and a finicky door lock could also be addressed. That said, a very comfortable bed 😀, as opposed to a futon. Access to the city bus and train station best done by arranging for a taxi as the bus routes on the highway just above the place, are neither reliably scheduled nor matched transit app (at least the one I had.)

The guesthouse is conveniently located which makes it ideal for exploring Jeonju. The check-in process was smooth and instructions on how to access the room were very clear. Kitchen facilities came in very handy and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside I would mention is that the walls are paper-thin. We stayed two nights and had no problem on the first night but on the second one, we were awakened by loud guests at 2 am who seemed to be checking in very late (and possibly drunk). I would recommend limiting the check-in time until 00:00 to avoid any complaints or discomfort for in-house guests. Besides that situation the stay was perfect and considering the cost it was very fair.

Really nice and modern guesthouse. Clean rooms in general, (dormrooms available with 4 beds) electric socket and light at the bed and room for the bags and luggage at the end of the bed. Shared bathroom with multiple showers and hairdryer provided as well. Breakfast in the morning is available free of charge. This includes toasted bread, with butter and marmelade. Eggs and cheese as well as 2 different kinds of cereal. You can also choose between to juices (orange and grape) Unfortunately the kitchen is not usuable for cooking or preparing any kind of food on the stove. There are a microwave and a fridge to use. I really recommend this guesthouse for short stays or longer stays.

Host's were really friendly and supportive. Room has floor heating and due to that room got really hot. Shower is really good. We had an issue with the bedding where we complained to the host and he looked into it wanting to give you another room but we stayed in that room as it was only for two nights. More towels have been also provided after requesting them and a welcome bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and a few other toiletries were in that bag. Water bottles as much you ask for and even at the checkout the host lady gave us each 2 bottles of water to take with us which was really appreciated and a rare first gesture I experienced.
