I've always wanted to try a capsule hotel, and I finally got to yesterday! It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Yokohama Station, with a Veloce cafe right next door. It's also super close to drugstores and shopping malls. The front desk staff was very nice.

The room is very standard and the bed is clean. The room is old but well-equipped. The bed in my room is facing two wire doors, which is a bit scary but acceptable. There was no hair dryer in my room during the stay. After I told the front desk staff, they found it for me in time. The decoration at the entrance of the store is very stylish

It's my pleasure to stay here. And everything's very nice and cute. You have your single room in here. Even the bathroom and toilet sharing. And it's very nice to talk with the staff here, they're really cute and nice. And they would be really willing to give you some recommendations for Yokohama city. And this time I forgot to bring my charger and I borrowed the charger from them as well. Oh, you also can ask them to take a cute photo for you. I just personally really like those things. And remember to check their birthday book up, that's really nice to see each day the different birthdays descriptions. I'll be looking forward to staying there again if I visit Yokohama.

This is one of the best experience I have ever had! A very friendly owner + impeccable service. They offer pick-up drop-off services at togendai and oishishita, and when I asked whether they can drop off the luggage at Gora they said yes!!! Saved me so so much time!! Great room, not the most luxurious but definitely comfy. Be aware there is no private showers though. But needless to say, when theres an onsen why would you need a private shower! The onsen is great in a sense that since it's a small hotel, there was rarely anybody. It's almost like a private onsen. The water temperature of the inner one is just right, but the outdoor one, when it's snowing is quite cold. Also, the outdoor onsen had some debris as well. So the quality of the onsen isnt top notch but for the price, it's already way above my expectations. (Also you can see mount fuji as you are enjoying the onsen!) Only downside is the location. When they offer very good pick-up and drop off services, the luggage system from the railway doesn't include this hotel. This forced me to start the trip at togendai (you could ask then to simply pick up your luggage). Not a big problem if I have known this beforehand, but I had to change plans and get on the pirate ship first, so be aware!! Overall. 10/10 experience. Good price, good room, excellent service. Would come again definitely!!

What an amazing guest house with beautiful interior design! This was the best stay I’ve had in Japan so far. The staff are super kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is zen and social. I loved having dinner there (you need to reserve in advance as spots are limited). It was delicious and a wonderful experience to wear yukatas as a group. A big thank you to Nana, Kira and Fuko :)) Another great advantage is the location is excellent, right by the Hakone open air museum (best museum I’ve ever been to) and near a Lawson and 7/11. There’s also a bus stop right there and the closest train station is only a few min away by foot and Gora station is about a 15 min walk. I think the Hakone free pass is also worth doing for 2-3 days because the value and convenience is very good. One morning, I had breakfast in the caravan parked outside the guesthouse, run by Tom, and that was practical and yummy. I didn’t have time to check this out, but there’s the Hakone foot spa nearby that’s supposed to have nice views and there’s also the Beer Bar by Gora Brewery that looks nice for dinner or lunch. Kowakidani Horaien Gardens and Chisuji Falls are also nearby (20 min walk). Overall, I highly recommend this place and would gladly have stayed longer and hope to come back one day! Flexstay Inn Kawasaki is located just under 1 km from Kawasaki Train Station. On the day that I arrived, I ended up being late due to travel from the previous location. I contacted Flexstay prior to make this arrangement and they were very accommodating allowing me to check-in at 11pm. The Hotel is very close to convenience stores or if you want to choose from a range of restaurants, they are all within walking distance, as are a range of different shops for those wanting a shopping experience. The bed was comfortable and the room was standard size with a TV, microwave, mini fridge and WiFi. I would have liked to have had access to an electric kettle, rather than one that sat on a cooktop. The bathroom was a toilet / bath / shower combined and body wash / shampoo and conditioner were all provided. I appreciated that staff allowed me to have a parcel sent to the Hotel that they held onto and provided me with a note, letting me know that it could be collected at the check-in desk. There was an issue with the hand basin not allowing the water to drain correctly, but as soon as I notified staff, it was rectified straight away. As the Hotel is close to a busy intersection, just be aware that there is noise from traffic throughout the day and night.

This guesthouse was incredibly cozy and felt just like home. At check-in, they carefully explained everything I needed to know. I stayed in the women's-only dormitory room, which I believe was a 6-person room with three bunk beds. I had the bottom bunk. There were no locks, but there were sturdy curtains for privacy. Even though it was a cold day, the room was warm, and having a light above the bed made for a comfortable stay. Everyone seemed to be considerate and kept quiet. Eating and drinking weren't allowed on the bed, but it wasn't an issue as the ground floor had a cozy cafe (pictured) where you could relax freely. I read a bit in bed and then slept soundly. When I mentioned at check-out that I was visiting Enoshima, they told me about taking a boat, which made my trip much more enjoyable than planned. Luggage storage after check-out was also cheaper than using a locker, and I enjoyed the interaction. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance. Shared rooms are very affordable and highly recommended for solo travelers.

☀️ When i first arrived, i thought i was at the wrong place - i‘ve never booked something so nice for myself before! 🪲PROS - chill 4 people bedrooms, with a comfy bed and a big personal shelf + locker and a fridge for the room - clean facilities and rooms - towel, toothpaste/toothpaste and yukata were provided as well as shampoo and showergel - the common room was so cozy and nice, with tea and water always at the ready and a great view of the garden - i was satisfied with both the dinner and breakfast and the price was fairly cheap (~1200¥ or a bit more, depending on your choices) - PRIVATE ONSEN that you can book for around 50minutes at night and can use in the morning if nobody else is already using it (costs around 150¥ per use) - there is a shuttle bus going at pretty regular times in the morning. They offer a ride to both Gora-Station or Hakone-Open-Air-Museum! 🩸CONS - far from the city-centre/train station 🌱 i really enjoyed my stay. I had cool roomies that became travel companions and absolutely loved the inn, the onsen, the food and the kind staff! Definitely a recommendation if you ever decide to stay in Hakone - i would book again!

Compared to the one in Ueno station, it can't compete. I had to spend an extra thousand japanese coins to store my luggage for 5 hours because they were very strict on the Check-in time at 3 PM. I've traveled around quite a bit and i've never had to spend extra money to store my bags in the hotel that I have already booked and paid to stay in for the night. To me, this was very inconvenient and a little strange.Considering this is the first time it ever happened to me. And I've traveled around many countries can't think of a single one.That wouldn't let me just store my bags in the behind the counter and then let me check in later. Everybody was very polite and nice and the guy would even use his translator to tell me about the company policy. I think this place must be pretty new.So the owner is running it by the book. Overall I still enjoyed it tho!
