"This hotel is really close to Southern Cross Station and there's really friendly reception. The room is really clean with all the necessities. There's laundry, gym, Cafe and a small library on level 1 (I didn't use them as I am away for the whole day)
I choose this place as I am aware I will be travelling with two suitcases by myself so this location is perfect for me. I don't have to go through all the trouble of dragging my luggages on to the tram or using Uber since it's only few minutes walk from the station."

"From the moment we entered we were greated by friendly helpful staff. Room was perfect lovely hot shower. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was beautiful. Nice and hot and very prompt with the delivery. I would happily stay again and l would certainly recommend to anyone. Nice and quiet. Bed and especially the pillow were excellent. "Hotel front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to them. Hotel room is just perfect for a Solo traveller in terms of room size, facilities, lighting, etc. I love the room interior. It looks bright and motivating. Lighting is bright which I always prefer and I have the option to switch off some lights if I want it a bit darker before sleeping. Toilet looks compact but there is certainly enough space to take shower and do other stuff. There is a sofa which makes the room look more classy. The bed, pillow and sofa are very comfortable. I was able to adjust the Aircon and keep myself warm and comfortable. In room dining service was excellent. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was tasty. Hotel is conveniently situated within CBD and I am able to walk over to wherever I want or take tram and travel around the city. I love this hotel and I will stay in this hotel again when I revisit Melbourne in the coming months."

"A minha única queixa é que o ruído das portas que fecham alto no corredor é bastante mau (pelo menos no quarto andar). "Warm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations.
The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests."

SSRuss83I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel.
One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself.
Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1.
My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles.
THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :)
I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

UUsuário anônimoVery clean and newly renovated airport hotel, provide excellent complimentary airport transfer service on demand. Had a quiet stay with good rest, totally can't hear the noise from aircraft as is not under the flying path, although just situated less than 10 mins drive away from airport.
Room amenities were sufficient and good, especially the high power hairdryer and heating bulb to keep the bathroom warm.
The only downside is they did not provide any bottle drinking water, otherwise would be a perfect score!

UUsuário convidadoit knows what it is, basic clean reasonable accommodation in a fantastic location. Not trying to be anything but it’s not.
Old building of course could be done up but of course then all prices would go up equivalently so again and come back to the original point it’s simple basic accommodation that is useful when you need a quick night accommodation.
Instructions were really good getting into the place late at night. The room was immaculately clean even if it was old. Overall would stay there if I needed accommodation for one night. I would suggest a touch expensive for what it is.

A pia do banheiro é tão pequena que é inutilizável, e a bancada externa é um desperdício, o que levou a mim e meu amigo a usar a pia da cozinha para nos lavarmos. A localização do hotel é excelente, mas, por estar perto do transporte ferroviário, o barulho do trem é inevitável. Os dois quartos são muito barulhentos, e o ar-condicionado não está disponível em todos os cômodos; só há um no quarto. Se você fechar a porta nos outros cômodos para dormir, não haverá ar-condicionado, o que me fez suar muito uma noite, ficando cada vez mais quente enquanto dormia. Abrir a janela era muito barulhento, o que foi uma situação realmente embaraçosa. A recepção do hotel funciona apenas das 8h às 20h, o que significa que, se você precisar guardar a bagagem, terá que voltar para pegá-la a tempo à noite, caso contrário, só poderá fazê-lo no dia seguinte. Considerando que o hotel é um apartamento, achei que o preço tinha um bom custo-benefício, especialmente por causa da localização. É muito conveniente para ir a qualquer lugar. Há uma parada de bonde gratuito bem em frente, e a South Cross Station fica a apenas um quarteirão de distância. Além disso, as duas excursões de um dia que reservei tinham pontos de encontro nas proximidades, o que foi uma informação muito útil que eu não sabia antes de reservar.

The restaurant has closed down as well. The room was clean but know room service so your on your own if you run out of tea and coffee. Thank god we had a microwave so we could still eat.

UUsuário convidadoPleasant reception on arrival and provided with drink and discount cards that could be used at any bar in the venue.
The room was comfortable and clean, however the soap, shampoo and conditioner containers were all empty.
We were staying overnight due to attending a function at the venue.
Sadly the drink cards were refused, even though I was told they could use them at any bar???? And drinks were being served at bar prices on the night.
Then, being coeliac, the host had discussed with me the option of gluten free/ gluten friendly platter as you like to call it these days. She then ordered a gluten free platter to cater for my needs. She also advised that she had pointed me out to the waitress so that she could bring the gluten free platter to me. As I had been drinking I was looking for food, trays were coming out for others but no sign of the gluten free tray. After asking several times and being told it was coming, by 9:30 it hadn't showed. Normally I would have just let it go but I knew it had been ordered and at a heafty cost. It took some pushing to finally get a proper response from the supervisor, the platter had been delivered to the wrong room! They were putting one together asap and it would be delivered soon. It finally did come and was more than adequate, however disappointing that it had to be chased and for the host to find out how much trouble I had.

MMandy PuaVery convenient location as it just 10mins walk to Melbourne central. The rmit university and swanston tram station right in front of the hotel building. Don’t have enough time to enjoy pool and sauna as it opens from 7am-9pm only. The only dissatisfied is I don’t know that the room service is provided. On the 4th night of our stay while we entered the room after one day trip, we realized that the cleaner has actually entered and cleaned our room without asking our permission. Imagine what if our goods have went missing, can the hotel management beared the cost of our loss? Please do not enter the room without inform customer, customer will ask for room cleaning if they really want the service.
