JJenJen KiwiBerryWe stayed in a 2 queen bed room for a night. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and just a walking distance to Empire Hextar Mall. I liked the atmosphere here. Amazing pool view and the sunrise view.

NNelly RI couldn't recall how many times I have stayed in Concorde Shah Alam. This hotel has always been my number 1 choice every time I come to Shah Alam. It's very convenient- the location, the hospitality, the amenities, the food, and the city view of Masjid Shah Alam. I can also hear Azan from the masjid- very calming. Keep up the good work, Concorde Shah Alam.

Excellent stay ! The room was spotless , the bed was comfortable and the location was convenient. Communication was fast and professional throughout my stay. Thank you for making my trip enjoyable. I’ll definitely come back in the future !

IIMAAN JEFFRY AMIRAI had a pleasant stay overall, with several aspects of the experience standing out positively. Special mention goes to Zul, the receptionist, who handled everything professionally and was very helpful throughout the check-in process. He also explained the walk-in breakfast rate of RM61.50 per person and kindly offered a more affordable option of paying upfront at the counter for only RM35.00 per person, which was a great value.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also well designed and clean, while the water pressure was excellent—definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
I also tried the room service through Roomie. The order took around 30 minutes to arrive, which was reasonable. I ordered the Kampung Fried Rice and Oxtail Soup. The food was average in terms of taste and could be improved, particularly with seasoning and overall flavour. However, the pricing was surprisingly affordable considering this is a 5-star hotel.
Breakfast was probably the least impressive part of the stay. The selection was fairly average, and there was nothing particularly memorable or outstanding.
Overall, the stay was comfortable, with excellent service from Zul, a spacious room, and good value for the food pricing. With improvements to the food quality and breakfast offerings, the experience could be significantly better.

AAshikin FadzilThe unit itself is clean and fully furnished, which I appreciate. However, there are several serious issues that the owner should address before accepting future guests.
1. Air-conditioning issue (major concern)
Please ensure the air-conditioner is properly fixed before hosting guests. During our stay, the unit became extremely hot, especially at night and even worse after sunrise. I was travelling with my elderly parents, and it was honestly uncomfortable and distressing to see them sweating while trying to sleep. This is not a minor inconvenience, it significantly affected our stay.
2. Inadequate cooling for unit size
The unit is spacious, even IF the air-conditioner had been working, one small AC unit is clearly insufficient to cool the entire space. With the AC not functioning properly, the situation became unbearable.
3. Serious bathroom privacy and safety issues
Both bathrooms have critical privacy concerns. One bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling frosted glass window, but one panel has lost its frosting, creating a large clear section where anyone could see someone showering.
The second bathroom has a large unfrosted window near the top, facing the hallway. I personally checked from outside, and it is possible to see clearly into the bathroom.
This is a serious safety and privacy issue, not a cosmetic flaw. These problems should be fixed immediately before allowing any other guests to stay.
4. Deposit amount and payment method
The security deposit is very high, almost equivalent to the rental cost, which already feels unreasonable. What made it worse is that the deposit was required to be transferred outside the booking platform via WhatsApp. The full check-in guide was only release after transfer is made.
One of the main reasons people use trusted platforms like Trip, Agoda, Booking or similar services is for safety and protection on both sides. I had already paid in full through the platform, and all my personal details were available there. Being pressured to transfer a large deposit outside the platform puts guests at unnecessary risk and defeats the purpose of using a secure booking system.
I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously as an opportunity to improve, rather than dismissing it. With proper fixes and more transparent practices, this unit has potential but in its current condition, the experience was disappointing.

GGuest UserPls have a look if you are planning to book this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had at a 5-STAR HOTEL!
The problems started from the moment I arrived.
During check-in, the receptionist told me that the system was down and was unable to check me in. After trying & waiting for a while, she switched to another computer to complete the check-in.
I had to wait around 7 mins just for what should have been a simple check-in.
After finally getting my room key, I thought I could finally go to my room and rest at around 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, things only got worse.
My initial room was on the 5th/6th floor (can’t remember exactly). When I entered, I was shocked to find that the room had clearly not been cleaned or prepared at all. It was basically left in the same condition as the previous guest had left it. The rubbish had not been cleared, the bedsheet had not been changed, and the blanket was even lying on the floor.
The room was dirty & messy, which completely ruined my mood.
I immediately tried to contact reception using the room phone, but the phone system also appeared to have a problem. I called three times without answering and only managed to get through on the fourth attempt.
When I explained the situation, the receptionist sounded confused and seemed unaware of what had happened. I requested a room change and was told to come back down to reception.
When I arrived, the staff there also seemed unaware of the situation. I had to explain everything again. One staff member then went to another staff member, who came over and asked me again what had happened.
At that point, I was already very tired and frustrated from having to repeat the same explanation multiple times.
After waiting for quite some time, I was told that there were no more king-size rooms available and that they could only offer me a twin room. By then, I was exhausted and simply wanted to rest, so I accepted it.
Considering that the initial room was not ready due to the hotel’s own housekeeping issue, I honestly expected at least some gesture of goodwill, such as a complimentary upgrade or compensation. But that was fine.
I was eventually assigned Room 719. Before I left reception, the staff simply said “sorry.”
The housekeeping situation was especially disappointing. I arrived at around 6:30 PM, while the hotel’s check-out time is 12 PM. There should have been plenty of time for the room to be cleaned and prepared. Yet I was given a room that had apparently not been serviced at all. I could even see housekeeping staff walking around the floor.
Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and room was also far from satisfactory. The facilities looked old and poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper, a damaged chair cushion, dirty carpets, and an air-conditioning system with a noticeable mouldy smell.
The lobby looks reasonably well renovated, but the condition behind the surface is a completely different story. For a hotel that has only been operating for a little over 10 years, the level of deterioration and lack of maintenance is difficult to accept.
What disappointed me most was that this was not just one isolated issue. The check-in process was inefficient, communication between staff was poor, the room was not ready, housekeeping was inadequate, and the room itself was poorly maintained.
This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced.

While it's not in the city center, the hygiene is much better than hotels and guesthouses of the same price range downtown. However, the coffee cup in the room clearly looked used and unwashed.

Facilities & Environment: The room is spacious and bright, with excellent soundproofing that ensures a high-quality sleep. The Wi-Fi is fast and stable, making it smooth for both work and entertainment.
Service Experience: The staff are enthusiastic and efficient during check-in. They respond quickly when issues arise, and room cleaning is prompt and meticulous.

Dear Management Team,
I recently completed a stay in Room [Insert Room Number] at a rate of over RM900+ per night. Given this price point, I expected standard luxury hospitality and clean facilities. Unfortunately, the room fell far below acceptable hygiene standards.
During our stay, the bathroom basin was completely blocked and would not drain. Upon inspecting the pop-up drain stopper to see what was blocking the water, we discovered it was covered in thick, black grime and mold. Stagnant soapy water remained trapped in the sink, making the bathroom unhygienic and unusable.
Paying premium rates for severely neglected plumbing and poor sanitation is unacceptable. I have documented this with photos, which are attached for your reference.
I would appreciate a response from the Duty Manager regarding this stay experience and how management intends to address this matter.

OOng SanThis stay was a bit disappointing. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong smell of smoke. The bed was also old and saggy. The room's decor was very nice though. Management should pay more attention to cleanliness and the quality of the beds and pillows. The 'Deng Kee' fish paste vermicelli opposite the hotel lobby was delicious.
