Esta foi uma experiência muito ruim ficar neste hotel. Fizemos o check-in por volta das 21h e descobrimos que o hotel havia providenciado um quarto danificado (veja as fotos) para nós, antes de dormir. Uma porta do armário de madeira estava perdida, mas as dobradiças estavam na lateral do armário. Decidimos não solicitar a troca de quarto, apesar de acharmos que isso não estava sendo respeitado como hóspedes do hotel. Reclamamos os problemas na recepção e o atendente explicou que não se tratava de uma porta de armário quebrada/danificada, mas que a intenção deles era remover a porta. Isso parece uma desculpa, pois se a intenção era remover a porta, por que apenas uma porta foi removida em vez de ambas? As dobradiças da porta ainda estavam presas, o que significa que a porta poderia ser reinstalada um dia.

The free call service from the station is very convenient for travellers who come to stay but not driving. Both the breakfasts and dinners are excellent. The in-room onsen with jacuzzi and the beautiful landscape is spectacular. The public onsen is also clean and well maintained. The only flaw is tv in the room is rather old and would appreciate an upgrade.n

A beautiful hotel with a stunning view of Lake Biwa. The Shuttle bus to and from Katata station made it convenient, as long as you time your transport well, and the staff were very friendly and professional. We recommend staying here for a more peaceful and luxurious experience in Kyoto outside of the city, and it would also be good to visit shirahige shrine and cycle around Lake Biwa!

The room itself has a bathroom sink which is pretty convenient. Not expecting much given the price but it did have everything u need for a basic sleep. Surprisingly the public bath is just hot water not onsen.

I loved everything about this hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding — easily one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff provided great service and were always helpful and friendly. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the train station, which made getting around very convenient. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, with good quality and variety. The highlight for me was the hotel view — absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!!!!💕💕💕🎀🇯🇵🙌🏽

Check in was not smooth simply because the male receptionist did not bother to explain to us that the room we've booked is actually classified as cottage & was separate from main building & need to drive there, even though he saw us with our many luggages offloaded from our car & pushed to reception area. By the time I figured out with the help of another female receptionist the actual location of our room, my husband has already followed the male receptionist's map instruction to look for numbered car park slot to park our car & then walked all the way back to the reception area to meet me. There is no buggy or any form of transport or concierge to assist us. In the end, we borrowed a trolley & wheeled all our luggages on road to our room. The toilet bowl smells bad & despite washing the floor & spraying anti odour, the smell persisted. There is no free wifi. However, overall, we are satisfied with our stay as the big room size (5 single beds) with many aircon units & the dedicated car park slot just right outside our room made it convenient for us to load our luggage when we check out. Overall, if you need a big room & dedicated parking slot, this is still good hotel to stay, since most hotel room in Japan is really small. The other reason we chose this hotel is the location near the sea where we were hoping to catch the sunset but we didn't managed to due to rain & super cloudy sky : (
