The Pudong Shangri-La's two towers offer almost 1,000 deluxe rooms and suites, many of which feature floor-to-ceiling windows that highlight the incredible views and state-of-the-art flat-screen TV entertainment centers for indoor viewing. The Grand Tower epitomizes luxury living, providing outstandingly luxurious and spacious accommodation. The classic River Wing fuses old world elegance with Oriental touches to evoke a cosy and relaxed ambience. The hotel is also home to the Horizon Club, which offers the discerning traveler a higher level of comfort, attention and personalized service. The Shangri-La's dining options are equally luxurious. The 36th floor restaurant, Jade on 36, provides a feast for the eyes as well as the palate, serving up fine French cuisine framed against the Bund views and the-future-is-now panorama. Yi Café earns high marks for its international gourmet buffet and it's thirteen open-view kitchens; Cantonese (Grand Boat), YISEA (Japanese) and Chinese (Gui Hua Lou) cuisines are all on offer. Two fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness centers boast a gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis court, sauna and steam bath. The large and luxurious Chi, The Spa offers comfortable place to indulge in some restorative therapy—for luxury accommodation on the Pudong side of the Huangpu, the Shangri-La is hard to beat.
"Reservei um quarto Deluxe Bund View no Pujiang Building pelo Ctrip e, ao chegar, paguei para fazer um upgrade para o Executive Club. A vista atendeu às expectativas, mas fiquei um pouco decepcionado porque o hotel talvez estivesse lavando as janelas externas, então havia algumas cordas lá fora, o que atrapalhou as fotos e a vista. A decoração do quarto estava boa, não tão ruim quanto alguns dizem. O café da manhã foi ok, tinha bastante variedade, mas naquele dia estava cheio, então fomos alocados em um restaurante japonês ao lado. Era um pouco longe para pegar comida, e o restaurante japonês também tinha algumas opções, mas não tanta variedade. Aconselho a esperar por um lugar no salão principal, se não tiver pressa."
