This stay is the best. The owner is a great human, from greeting us to taking care of anything you need to keep providing us with plenty of drinking water, all the recommendations you need he has got it all, even with the language barrier, he tried his best to communicate which really counts as efforts and how a place makes you feel. The room we stayed in had a great view of Cangshan Mountain, the balcony is just a cherry on top. You can get a full 360° view from the rooftop with amazing sunrise views. The location is very convenient. You can walk to all the good stops or take an electric vehicle from the stay itself as they have it available if you need it. There’s washing machine on the rooftop incase you need to do the laundry. Overall we had a really comfortable time here, we will definitely come back here. 10/10 recommended.

Everything was nicely prepared and felt like a proper home. The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right from our window—perfect for sunrise lovers. 👩💼 Host experience: The homestay staff was incredibly friendly and understanding. She even arranged a free ride from the railway station, which we truly appreciated after a long day of travel. 🚧 Outside facilities: This is where it gets a bit mixed. The overall apartment complex (including the parking lot and elevator) felt poorly maintained, and the atmosphere at night was dark and slightly eerie, especially for solo travelers or couples. Many neighboring units seemed unoccupied, which added to the quiet, empty vibe. 📍 Location: Take note—this place is about 50 minutes from Dali Ancient City, so it’s not ideal if you’re planning to explore the old town daily. But if you want to relax by the lake and enjoy peace and views, it could work. Service was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location. Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

Spacious room, clean, beds are comfortable, location is near old town, easily access by e hailing. The only downside is the air conditioning. The downstairs centralised aircon is directly face the bed which is too strong and too cold, but upstairs single unit is not strong enough, abit warm for those who sleep at the upstairs.

I had an amazing stay at Anyu Dali, and their hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even coordinating with the Didi driver when we were rushing to catch our railway. They went above and beyond by providing weather updates for our next destination, Lijiang, and noticing that we were unprepared for the cold, they thoughtfully gave us heat pads. As first-time guests, we were treated to complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, as well as four free laundry items for washing. The welcome gift was a lovely touch, and they even prepared a warm nighttime drink before bedtime, making our stay feel extra special. What really stood out was their attention to detail—even knowing that we would be staying at Anyu Lijiang next, they arranged to give us our farewell gift there, considering our luggage was already full. The level of service here surpasses that of many well-known hotels, and I will definitely choose Anyu again the next time I visit China. Highly recommended for those who appreciate genuine hospitality!

Higiene: O ambiente de dormir é o primeiro fator na hora de sair, e essa casa é muito limpa! Instalações: Completo, o banheiro é um banheiro inteligente, a temperatura da água é ajustada automaticamente quando chove é adequada, satisfatória Ambiente: Os terraços do segundo e terceiro andares têm vista para o Lago Erhai. Serviço: O chefe pode resolver qualquer problema perfeitamente devido a restrições de tempo, fiquei duas noites e não consegui tomar o chá da tarde. A localização é um pouco longe da cidade antiga, você pode pegar um táxi, mas está muito perto da entrada da montanha Cangshan. Vou considerar ficar aqui na próxima vez que vier a Dali👍.

Viemos no fim-de-semana do Festival de Primavera e Dali estava bastante ocupado, mas este hotel está perfeitamente localizado e muito tranquilo. The floor is too low, the window is quite small, you can only see corals and small bottom-dwelling fish. Photos turn out very ordinary, and the experience is poor. ✅ Go for the 2nd floor first! Best value for money overall! The price is moderate, the viewing window is super large, and the view is expansive. You’ll get great photos effortlessly. Call the front desk in advance to reserve a room with a good view. We stayed in room 8220, and the view was quite good. ⭕ The 3rd floor is slightly more expensive.
