"The room was so clean and completely renovated. The location was great. The reception helped find the visiting places. When you are booking the hotel via this APP, make sure the information is updated!
For the room I booked it was written that the room has a lake view but unfortunately, when I got my room it had a building view!
I contacted “customer service”, and they gave me some “coins” in the APP as compensation.
I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Dali."

"We and the children arrived at the Hotel at night, and the hotel welcomed us warmly and the service was very good. We booked a family room and there was a bathtub, so the children loved it very much. The room view also looked at a beautiful lake and mountains. The hotel price was quite cheap for us. The host is friendly, nice and helpful despite the language barrier.
Facilities:
We got a room at ground floor which I am really grateful for as there is no lift and our luggage is heavy. The room and toilet is clean.
Location:
Strategic. Nearby walking distance Halal eatery, the famous HD bakery, luckin coffee, chagee, pharmacy, cheap souvenir shop, all is very near and easily accessible in 1-3min walk. Didi can't access the road to the homestay door and unable drop you off in front of the homestay itself so you need to pull your luggage and it is a 3-5 min walk (without luggage maybe 1-2 min). Unsure why no trolley during our time but i guess probably it was faulty. But the host came to pick us up at the didi drop off point, and help pull one of our luggage, however it was a cobbled street so i wish in future there will have a trolley available."

"We've been traveling in China for 2 months and this is the best place we have stayed. Very comfortable and clean and quiet. The hosts were very nice and responsive and helpful. We hired the owner to give us a tour of Dali and the lake and mountains that was excellent. The host gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The host arranged our transport from the train station, and our transport to our next city we are visiting. We have all excellent things to say about our stay here and hosts. Highly recommended."

"friendly staff, we checked in late due to late train schedule, then before check out, we got lost in the ancient town, they gave us late check out, thank you for your kindness. they upgraded our room from 1-2 floor to the room in the courtyard..very calm and beautiful surroundings. easy access to didi though quite a distance from ancient town/viral souvenir shop. but we just took didi to go there, 8-10cny. most importantly no need to struggle to carry your heavy luggage around. overall, we enjoyed our stay here 🥰🥰"

UUsuário anônimoWe stayed at this hotel for three nights, and honestly, it was one of the best places we stayed at during our trip to China. Everything was spotless, so clean, fresh, and pleasantly scented. The modern design is tasteful and well thought out, and it feels like every detail was considered. The rooms are spacious, the bed is incredibly comfortable with crisp, clean linens, and there’s even a huge projector screen on the wall. One entire side of the room is a window, flooding the space with natural light. Simply perfect!
The staff were welcoming, kind, and always willing to help. While they don’t speak English, communication was very easy through a translation app.
In short, this hotel is a dream. We highly, highly recommend it. You won’t regret staying here!

UUsuário convidadoWe highly recommend this hotel. When we first arrived we were greeted by whom I presume to be the owner of the hotel. He helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room personally. Understanding that we know limited Chinese, he took the time to slowly show us the features of the room - including an automated voice command tool and a projector for watching movies. He also learned we have an early check out and spent time using WeChat to share places where we can find breakfast early in the morning. As for the hotel room itself, it's specious, modern, and well equipped. The facilities are modern and very well-kept. The location is perfect for us - it's a short 5 minute walk from the main tourist area of Dali Old Town - this means the area had more locals, quieter, and more authentic. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again next time we visit Dali.

GGuest UserI had an absolutely incredible stay here, it was easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host and his family, making us feel right at home immediately. Our bedroom was impressively spacious and kept perfectly clean throughout our visit. The highlight, however, was the spectacular view; waking up to a panoramic vista of both the city and the lake was truly unforgettable. What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The host took care of us from the beginning until the very end of our stay, going above and beyond by even personally taking us to the bus stop when it was time to leave. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Thank you, Mr Ma, for your hospitality.

UUsuário convidadoThe Chunrili is at attractive hotel with open hallways and a courtyard in the center, featuring a charming stream and garden, where kids can have lots of fun and adults can admire the charm.
I had a very divided experience. My room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom large and hot water ample. The A/C worked fine. All good. But...
The rooms have essentially a wall of glass (big windows) facing the open hallways and the courtyard. This means any noise at all echoes up the stone walls of the courtyard and is not dampened at all. My room also lacked a desk and a chair, both of which I missed greatly. Finally, on one especially rainy night (rain being quite common in DaLi), I was awaken by staff pounding on my door: my room was flooding! Water in the open hallway was seeping under my door and onto my floor. I've never experienced the like. And since no luggage rack is provided, either, it was pure luck that my bags weren't soaked. This flooding must happen rather often, and is a serious design flaw.
Now, the owners were helpful and charming generally, providing our long-stay group free transport from the DaLI train station. And they keep a fleet of electric scooters that guests may borrow and use to get around. That was wonderful.
Finally, the Chunrili is not near much, and in particular, restaurants are rather rare in its neighborhood. Those that exist I would recommend, but more variety was wanted.

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience.
The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient.
The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay.
The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

UUsuário convidadoRoom and bed is clean. There are a few washing machines, dryers, and water dispensers all free to use. It also has a movie room and karaoke room if you ever need one. Location wise, it is located in an alley right infront of Dali's south gate, very convinient. Walking a few hundred meters outside you will be able to access Dali's bus system, easy to travel back to the railway station. However, the toilets are abit messy and moldy, but still clean nevertheless. One thing I dislike was even thought it is a non smoking room, smokers would often open the doors and smoke right outside the room, filling the room with cigarettes smell. Toilets would also occasionally smell due to the cigarette buds thrown into the toilet bins. But aside from that, it is a very good hostel that is worth for your money.

NnaimCTBelow this hotel, there is a Muslim restaurant and a convenience store. The hotel staff are kind and very helpful. The location is right next to Dali Ancient Town, just a 100-meter walk away. There are various shops all around the hotel. On the hotel rooftop, there is a washing machine where you can wash your clothes for free. The hotel also provides travel information. You can book day tour packages directly from the hotel, which is much easier and allows you to visit many places in a single day. The price is about the same as using DiDi for all places. This hotel is by the roadside, so Didi can drop off or pick up right in front of the hotel.

UUsuário convidadoThe hotel is just 3 km from Dali Railway Station.If you are using the train,this hotel is one of the best options. I booked a room facing the lake. The view is awesome. There is a lift. The room and toilet are clean. There are basic amenities like body shower, toothbrush,hair shampoo,comb, mineral water,kettle and tv provided.
I get free breakfast. They serve plain porridge with condiments, boiled egg,steam corn and sweet potatoes,bread and buns,fresh fruits and warm soy milk.The food is yummy and delicious.
Didi is available all the time and easy to assess from the hotel.You may also be greeted by fresh fruit sellers outside the hotel.We do buy some fresh grapes.
The hotel reception Ms Xiao Yang is very friendly and helpful.She helped to book Didi to Muslim restaurant for us.We also asked her for help to order a packed lunch because it was raining and we couldn't get out. Despite her work shift ending,she still waited for us to make sure we were safely back to the railway station. I hope her boss will recognise the hospitality she showed.
I recommend this hotel to tourists. You will not hear the noise outside the hotel during your stay.
Hopefully the management can put the hotel name signboard in english so it is easier for tourists to book Didi. Overall I was satisfied with the room and the warm hospitality the hotel provides.

UUsuário convidadoWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
