This stay made me very amazing. It is located in a small courtyard in a quiet country. The wooden courtyard door has a simple feeling. The stone steps have been extended to the main house. The spacious living room, open kitchen, and elegant book bar are all eye-catching. The accommodation room on the 2nd floor, the store layout has a unique flavor, there is a hot spring pool and swimming pool in the small courtyard, you can barbecue and dinner in the courtyard, all the layout reflects the store's intentions, is a good choice in leisure time.

We booked 2 rooms in total. The courtyard is very clean, comfortably decorated, and very quiet. It has a separate kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and living room. There is a rooftop on the top floor. The children had a lot of fun playing there and were reluctant to leave. The owner of the courtyard was very nice and provided very thoughtful service. We arrived at almost 9 o'clock that night and waited at the door. We reserved a parking space, which made us feel very cordial and comfortable. The room is nice, with an independent hot spring pool outside, where you can ♨️ take a bath. You can buy an independent sanitary bag from the hotel for 40 yuan. The breakfast is also good. There are many people who send their children to participate in various competitions and exams. There are many primary school students every time I stay twice. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the toys that the child brought after breakfast were lost in the breakfast place. I called to ask if I could mail it. The breakfast staff answered without hesitation that it was not possible. Fortunately, I found the front desk later and helped me mail it. Later, we went back to pick it up ourselves. I hope the hotel will train the staff other than the front desk. The service attitude and awareness need to be improved.

We got the standard queen size room however it’s comes with a window but facing to next building, hence there’s no sunlight coming in, picture are a bit misleading but overall is great. Location is not that convenient, everything is like 20mins ride away, but I must say the room and the services is great. Have a nice stay with them.

TTinaMI was only here for 3 nights, but had an extremely comfortable stay. The rooms are large and very well equipped - there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and a really good washer/dryer, which was such a blessing for me after a month of traveling. This is essentially a serviced apartment, but they also have a lovely lounge/kitchen in the basement, with a coffee machine that I may have used a little too much 🤣 It was good coffee and I was really glad for it at the start of a busy day. Their housekeeping staff is lovely as well, as is their security/doorman with the kindest smile. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me with my many queries. I had some delayed deliveries arrive at the hotel after I checked out, unfortunately, and although I'm sure my many requests may have been rather irritating as my friend in Beijing attempted to reroute/collect the late deliveries from the hotel, never once did the hotel staff convey a hint of frustration to me. They were so kind and gracious throughout, and I am genuinely grateful for that.
The hotel's location is an absolute chef's kiss 🤌 There are 2 major subway stations at equal distance from the hotel, and you can pick the station based on which line you need. The hotel is located by the hutongs west of Dongsi, right at the end of the LongfuSi complex, which is essentially a long line of fantastic pubs, cafes, restaurants, and also functions as a community/park of sorts, so you will see lots of families and people walking their dogs in the evenings - I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but it's a very uniquely ”Beijing” experience, not one you would experience out on the busy main roads. One of my favourite things was just walking back from the subway station and getting to immerse myself in this environment before arriving at Base. Also, I read some reviews saying it is inaccessible for taxis - this is not true, as there is a wide enough road for cars; your DiDi driver just won't be able to wait for you as there is no parking on the main street, so you'll need to be waiting for them outside. It was very convenient for my driver to pick me up when I checked out.
Thank you to the courteous reception staff for putting up with all my queries and shenanigans! I'm genuinely grateful and hope to be back again very soon (hopefully next time with fewer questions, but no promises!)

We loved the thoughtful and personalized anniversary decor on the bed, cards and bubbles. A special thank you to Paolo and the team. The delicious and decadent cake we ordered from the bakery was absolutely delicious. All the staff were professional, friendly and made our experience phenomenal. The afternoon tea, cocktails and light dinner at the club were delectable and so enjoyable. Can't wait to return for another awesome staycation at The Regent.

Room are so cozy, room comes with a balcony with table for 4. Environment are so beautiful. Floor comes with warmer, so even outside is 5 degrees we don’t even feel cold. Once step outside is tourist spot with food & shop. Train station just 5 mins walk. We really love this hotel.

GGuest UserThe best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right on Qianmen Rd, only about 3 minutes walk to Zhushikou Metro Station Exit A. It is walking distance to Tiantan Park. Very close to Tiananmen and Gugong and Qianmen Transportation Centre. You can either ride a bike to these places or take subway which is about 3 stops. It is on the quiet side of Qianmen Rd and a short distance walk to the main Rd, so it is easy to get a taxi and go around than living in the middle of Qianmen Rd. The amenities are minimal, and the room is quite small. Service is ok. They charge 50 Yuan deposit for a second room card. There is a convenient store on the opposite of the hotel which is nice. I would recommend it for short stay in Beijing.

Tian'Anmen Gate Tower
Aaileen18zyhThe first stop in Beijing, I got off the train and put my luggage there and went straight to Tiananmen Square, where I felt the majesty of the imperial city for the first time.
Tiananmen East Subway Station, exit A, and you will see the Tiananmen Tower. Special treatment around Tiananmen Square, check your ID card when you exit the station, ask for reservations, and directly persuade you to leave if you don’t have an appointment in advance. Tiananmen Tower, Tiananmen Square, flag raising and lowering, National Museum... just have an appointment, and you must make an appointment in advance, there is no same-day appointment. Many people have made a wasted trip.
After passing the security check at the subway exit, go straight to Tiananmen, cross the Jinshui Bridge, pass through the Tiananmen Gate Arch, and go to the north side of the tower (the north side is also very solemn and majestic, with two Huabiao and the square south of Duanmen). First go to a row of houses on the northwest side to store your luggage. You can only bring your ID card and mobile phone, etc., and all other things are stored. After passing the security check on the tower, you can successfully go up the tower. Go up the northwest stairs behind Tiananmen and go down the northeast stairs.
There are two Huabiao on the north and south sides of the Tiananmen Tower. The top of the Huabiao is a lion-like beast - Chaotianhou (Wangtianhou, Xiangtianhou). The Huabiao in front of the tower (south) is "Wang Jun Gui", facing south, persuading the emperor not to stay out for a long time and indulge in debauchery; the Huabiao behind the tower (north) is "Wang Jun Chu", facing north, urging the emperor to go out of the palace to understand the people's sentiments;
Finally entered the heart of the capital of the motherland, the spectacular Tiananmen Tower, this is also my first time to climb the tower. With a high temperature of 35 degrees +, my mood is as warm as the temperature. I have to take pictures every step. The biggest advantage of the hot weather is that the sky is blue, and no matter how I take a picture, it will be a blockbuster. The palace with red walls and yellow tiles plus the crystal sky, every frame is a desktop photo. Standing on the tower, the view is really good, Tiananmen Square and surrounding buildings are in full view. Inside the tower, there is an exhibition of the history and important events of Tiananmen. It was originally called "Chengtian Gate", which means "to receive the mandate from heaven". Later it was renamed "Tiananmen". Looking back at every historical moment of the Tiananmen Tower, it can make people cry.
If you want to get out of the tower to Metro Line 1, it will take some time, 1560 meters, starting from 2000 steps. I came down from the tower, picked up my luggage, passed through the Duanmen Gate, and arrived in front of the Meridian Gate (the official gate of the Forbidden City). It was almost five o'clock, and the Meridian Gate was closed. I took a photo and continued on. You can choose to go west or go through Zhongshan Park (Sheji Altar), or go east or go through the Working People's Cultural Palace (Taimiao). I chose to go west, along Tongzi River, to Nanchang Street, south, back to Chang'an Street, and enter the Tiananmen West Station of the subway. The scenery along the way is beautiful. Under the imperial city, along the outer moat (Tongzi River), I also saw the beautiful corner tower (the southwest corner tower of the four corners), passing by Xihua Gate (the west gate of the Forbidden City), it is worth walking a little more. Looking back, I have never been to the Altar of Land and Grain or the Imperial Ancestral Temple. I always thought that Zhongshan Park and the Workers' Cultural Palace were just ordinary green parks for people to exercise. I have read many guides and found that people who cannot enter the Forbidden City go to the Imperial Ancestral Temple to take photos of the palace with red walls and yellow tiles, which is a great background for Qing Dynasty costume photos. Some people use this to pass through the Meridian Gate, saving most of the time to queue up to enter the Forbidden City. Next time, I can include these two parks in my travel and check-in list. I highly recommend taking bus No. 5 on Nanchang Street, or sharing bicycles.
