Regent Beijing

It was the most outstanding stay at this elegant hotel. The room was stunning, comfortable and well decorated. We loved the thoughtful and personalized anniversary decor on the bed, cards and bubbles. A special thank you to Paolo and the team. The delicious and decadent cake we ordered from the bakery was absolutely delicious. All the staff were professional, friendly and made our experience phenomenal. The afternoon tea, cocktails and light dinner at the club were delectable and so enjoyable. Can't wait to return for another awesome staycation at The Regent.

Large room, very comfortable bed. Welcome fruit and a Nespresso machine are always nice. The Staff were all efficient and polite. Concierge was very helpful. Had dinner at Morton’s which was outstanding. The lobby bar also does great drinks for an international clientele. Well done!

The location is excellent. Just 1 min walk from the metro station. Tje room itself is a bit old. Still clean . The breakfast is great, love the beef noodles. The concierge staffs are very helpful. Helped me booked two Peking duck restaurants.

I had a wonderful stay with my little one. The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived and so patient when I had an issue checking in. My daughter also took part in a cake decorating class during our stay and she thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was quite large for hotels in Beijing, and the gym met needs. Yael on the front desk, Andy for in room dining, Paolo and the team at Dacappo restaurant made our stay comfortable down to the last detail. The breakfast had enough choice, and the in-room dining portions were generous. We will be recommending to friends, but will also come back again 😃

I think the up in Regent Hotel is only the service in two restaurants (Daccapo Italian Restaurant and Jinbao 99), we had a course dinner in Daccapo, and Hotpot set in Jinbao 99. The service and atmosphere in Daccapo were fine, and the taste of the foods was amazing, especially the buns and desserts,(but the so-called Boston lobster linguine with truffle was not worth it as added RMB $150). Also, the buffet breakfast was great in JinBao 99(the Hotpot set for dinner was just fair I think), all of the food was not bad, and the service was good, especially the supervisor Ms Doreen, who is friendly and talkative. Hopefully, they can keep it on. The downs are the rooms, and the services in reception, swimming pool and lobby. The room was quite outdated, and the most unacceptable and super crazy was you couldn't adjust the room temperature to below 24 Celsius, really hot and stuffy, and we couldn't sleep well all the nights we stayed, though opened up the windows(I never opened up the windows in a hotel until this time), but we didn't know where the heating comes from, still keeps warm and stuffy. Also, we called for one more chair, and they sent a chair which was quite filthy, with all the dust in it(you can see the pics). The service in lobby reception and the pool was poor, they had "bad face" all the time, no smiles, to be honest, the pool itself is not bad, but some people who use the pool which is not the hotel guest and no service in the pool and wellness area. Also, we talked to the lobby receptionist about the problems in the room, she said they would sort it out for us but finally they did nothing about it, obviously, she lied to us. When we checked out, I told the manager about this, she said all the hotels in Beijing are the same regarding the heating problem, but I want to tell her, it doesn't, at least Four Seasons doesn't. And the room is much better than the Regent Hotel. All in all, just fair, not the global 5-star standard, hopefully, they can rebuild or renew the rooms, and improve the services. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff is great, very helpful with local travel and sight-seeing reservations. Pillow Menu, above class breakfast - definitely a must add when reserving, and great location.

Absolutely amazing time here and so much of it was thanks to the most amazing person ever - Paolo. Before I even checked in the bell hop helped me with the luggage and check in was so smooth. Everyone was so welcoming and warm that I immediately felt happy and bubbly. The room was so thoughtfully prepared to welcome me on my birthday and to make me feel special. There was even a small cake, a fruit platter, and a personalized card. I was absolutely blown away by the level of personalized care and attention to detail. We had some tea at the executive lounge and again were welcomed and had great service. Paolo arranged for some more personalized touches for my birthday party in the lounge including Barbie themed photos on the appetizers and bite sized snacks. He was able to help us with the theme of the birthday party ~ Barbie by designing four different pink cocktails including a gin tonic style drink and a bubbly prosecco based one. We also had the breakfast buffet which had a great selection of food and was separated from the dining tables which was appreciated to better enjoy the food. I really liked the noodle and soup station in the morning especially as it was raining. The butterfly brunch was lovely and very fulfilling. I have nothing but an endless number of positive things to say about my sumptuous room with mesmerizing views and tremendous service. I love staycations and I have to say that this one takes the cake. Thank you all!
