Hotéis de praia em Langkawi

Took me a while to decide on Four Seasons due to slight put off by the location as it was rather secluded on the other side of the island. (which also meant privacy and peace) But was pleasantly and amazingly surprised by them. Booking via Trip, I didn’t expect that the hotel will reach out to me directly to check about my trip and how they can facilitate my plans better. Having booked over Trip numerous times, this was a first. This is also not my rodeo with 5stars on Trip. I felt valued and felt the sincerity the hotel expressed on how much they welcomed my stay and looking forward to my arrival. I arrived early for check-in and the whole process was swift, personal and made me feel extremely welcomed. Before I even asked, the team checked on my flight details out of Langkawi, and arranged for my late check-out to match my flight out so that I can stay rested and enjoy the resort till my very last moments in Langkawi. It surprised me as it was extremely personal and showed how well the hotel treated each guest and placed their needs at their utmost priority. I honestly didn’t expect their thoughtfulness. A resort tour was then arranged on a buggy to show me around the area and to introduced to me the different restaurants and facilities. And then we were showed to our room. Room was dated and had visible signs of wear and tear but all in all was within expectations. Clean and spacious and had a giant tub which filled up rather quickly despite the sizes. Room was well lighted with generous amount of day light. Having shared with the team that I was celebrating my birthday, they arranged for cake and champagne in my room to welcome me. Their service was consistent and I also received great attitudes at their restaurant, Kelapa Grill which served great seafood. Thank you Four Seasons Langkawi for such a memorable stay. Your service have been impeccable. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and warm hospitality. I will most definitely be back.

Initially we are curious because we never been outside the langkawi mainland. In our trip here, i think we are the only malaysian there, but the hospitality given to us both were beyond words. Amenities, room, location and food were perfect. For a nature lovers like us, i think is good place to run away from busy life in city. Just be aware with the boat schedule, and plan your trip ahead. You can stay in the island whole day, but its depend on your type of holiday that you seek. I definitely would come back again.

Primeira vez aqui hospedado neste resort com minha família, tivemos um momento agradável e maravilhoso. O serviço foi excelente, todos os funcionários são bons em maneiras e amigáveis. A limpeza do hotel e do quarto foi incrível. O serviço de buggy foi rápido e eficiente, eles também nos trouxeram para um passeio no hotel. O buffet de café da manhã tem muitas opções. A praia é muito limpa e a piscina é bonita e grande. Tudo foi ótimo. Definitivamente voltarei na próxima vez! Recomendarei a amigos e parentes ao nosso redor! :)

We had a fantastic stay at The Westin Langkawi! The staff were warm, friendly, and always so attentive and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is spotless and beautifully maintained, with comfortable lounge chairs by the pool that are perfect for relaxing. The hotel backs right onto a stunning private beach, offering amazing views across the ocean. We even had some cute monkey visitors around the grounds (they are very friendly too), which made our stay even more memorable! The hotel is a bit further away from the popular tourist places like Pantai Cenang and the north of the island, but there is plenty of taxi service around and at very good rates. I would highly recommend The Westin for anyone visiting Langkawi.

O chalé está localizado em uma praia tranquila, perto de outros resorts. É diferente das praias vizinhas, que estão cheias de turistas. Aqui você pode desfrutar de privacidade e tranquilidade. Ficamos em um chalé sobre a água, no andar superior. Ao entrar, você se sentirá como se estivesse no Japão ou na Coreia do passado. É uma experiência verdadeiramente incrível. Os móveis do quarto são robustos e bem conservados. Tanto o exterior quanto o interior combinam perfeitamente com o meu gosto. O chalé sobre a água é único e relaxante. Com certeza, reservarei novamente. A única coisa que eu gostaria de sugerir para melhoria é a escada para subir até o chalé. É muito escura e a luz só é acesa à noite, às 19h. Debaixo da escada, você verá sujeira. Fora isso, tudo está ótimo.

Esqueci de tirar foto do quarto deluxe. Para o quarto deluxe, tudo é igual, exceto pela ausência de banheira. 4-5 minutos de distância da praia. Para mim, reservar um quarto deluxe é bom. Porque você passará a maior parte do tempo na piscina enquanto aproveita o pôr do sol e a vista da praia. Se você vier com sua família, deve escolher Frangipani. Este resort não é lotado. Então você não precisa se preocupar com seus filhos incomodando os outros. Obrigado à equipe que nos ajudou a conseguir um novo quarto deluxe perto da minha villa com jardim.

Overall the hotel is good. Strategic location, it's located in town, quite near to town attractions & duty free shop. And also not far from the jetty for Mangrove Tour. However if you're going to Tanjung Rhu or Pantai Cenang, it mostly take 35-40mins (but we're driving so this is not an issue for us). The breakfast is great, variety of choices, from western to local & even porridge which is good for certain person. The nasi lemak sambal very delicious! The only bad side was the hot water, we booked 3 rooms (they allocate us to level 9), 3 rooms of us also having hot water problem, maybe due to the pump or maybe due to too many ppl using shower at same time (which I'm not sure).

O processo de check-in foi rápido e fácil, mas espero que o hotel possa melhorar a comunicação. Os funcionários da recepção não foram proativos em explicar informações importantes, como o horário de funcionamento da piscina, informações sobre o café da manhã e vagas de estacionamento. Tive que perguntar uma por uma. Seria melhor se essas informações básicas fossem explicadas diretamente no momento do check-in. O café da manhã tinha poucas opções. A lula ao molho sambal estava um pouco doce demais para o meu gosto, mas, tirando isso, tudo estava bom, apesar da pouca variedade. No geral, a estadia foi satisfatória, mas há espaço para melhorias no atendimento e nas informações aos hóspedes.

O hotel é modesto, os quartos são pequenos, tudo é limpo, as toalhas são trocadas diariamente e a roupa de cama está impecável. O hotel fica à beira-mar, com acesso direto à praia, MAS a praia está cheia de jet skis; o mar parece uma rodovia; você não vai querer nadar em uma água assim. De manhã, eles trazem esses jet skis para a praia em SUVs, oito deles acoplados, e à noite os levam embora, com um forte cheiro de gasolina. Grandes galões de gasolina ficam espalhados pela praia. Alguns motoristas passam por cima das toalhas e pertences dos turistas. À noite, há um show de fogo na praia e mais gasolina é derramada na areia. Basicamente, a praia é um negócio para os moradores locais.

Easy to park the car with a free onsite multistorey carpark linked to the hotel. Registration counter staff weren't the most friendly and gave cursory answers to our queries, but the gorgeous view more than made up for it. They play music at the pool bar that could be abit loud if you stay on the lower floors but they do switch it off after 10 or 11pm. Sheets aren't exactly the cleanest (spotting on the runner) and pool towels look like room towels that made for some confusion, but appreciated the laundry room and water dispenser with free powder detergent. Good water pressure. Bay view rooms face south so the light isn't blinding during sunrise or sunsets. Many food options in the shophouses opposite the hotel. Kitchen is bare ones but the microwave and fridge are definitely very functional. Clothes drying back also available. Pool is pretty clean. Breakfast buffet is pretty varied and quite delicious, with a live egg station available. Menu changes slightly everyday. Pretty good place to stay especially for the view.
