Guest UserWe stayed at their higher level 40 sqm suite paying HK$600/S$100 a night. There are many choices in Chengdu at this price point. The breakfast is acceptable for being included in the room price. PROs: The stunning view of the Anshun Bridge, the convenient location near Taikoo Li, lots of local food area. The bed we slept in was comfortable and aircon worked well, water pressure also good. The staff are very well trained to handle situations. CONs: The hotel is seriously showing its last renovation in 2019 age, the hotel shares other floors and same lifts with other commercial, residential tenants. See photos easiest to understand. I think this hotel is suitable for young travellers. We are a couple over 50.

Jinshui
We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities.
1. Breakfast
The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit.
Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining.
2. Gym & Pool
This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.
3. Laundry
There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room.
Package Perks
We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use.
Room & Noise
We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning.
We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise.
4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”)
We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup.
It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke.
Location & Surroundings
The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy.
Overall
For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

Guest UserFacilities: This hotel, opened less than two years ago, still has good facilities. We had a minor window issue that was promptly resolved.
Hygiene: Overall, the hygiene is acceptable, but there's room for improvement in the details, such as dust on the windowsills and the automatic flushing toilet splashing water. Hopefully, these can be addressed.
Environment: The hotel is located a few kilometers from Jiuzhaigou, a convenient 10-minute drive away. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very accessible. Situated amidst the mountains, the environment is excellent.
Service: The staff is very responsive to requests and quickly resolves any problems, which is great.

AyoudetutoulaobaThe location is superb, within walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley and People's Park. The subway entrance is just 300 meters from the hotel, and Xi'an South Road, a street filled with Sichuan restaurants and hotpot places, is within 100 meters. The environment and facilities are top-notch; it's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city with its own little haven, and parking is convenient. The staff are enthusiastic and responsive, the room facilities are smart, and the hygiene is impeccable. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and afternoon tea is complimentary. Highly recommended!

ayhan17I travel a lot for work, so I know good hospitality when I see it—and this place exceeded every expectation. The location, the cleanliness, the food—all fantastic. But the real MVP of our stay was Adam, the manager.
We had an early flight and arrived exhausted at 9 AM, way before check-in. Adam personally fast-tracked our room, arranged for early breakfast, and even sent up a welcome platter with a handwritten note. He checked in with us daily to make sure everything was perfect, but never in a pushy way—just genuine, warm service.
The little touches stood out:
· Turndown service with chocolates
· Personalized restaurant recommendations (he booked us a table at a hidden gem)
· A seamless checkout with zero surprises on the bill
Adam runs this hotel like a five-star cruise ship—smooth, attentive, and always one step ahead. If you're on the fence, book it. You won't regret it.

Guest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations; overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get around by taxi, eat, and shop. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, stable hot water supply, and complete toiletries. The staff were warm, polite, and efficient with check-in and check-out, and they responded promptly to any issues. The environment was quiet and not noisy, with good soundproofing, so I wasn't disturbed by outside noise. The facilities were well-maintained, and the lights and air conditioning worked smoothly. The breakfast had a rich variety of options, and the taste was great. The value for money is excellent, making it suitable for both business trips and short getaways. It was a comfortable stay, and I will definitely prioritize this hotel next time I'm in the area. I also recommend it to anyone who needs a good place to stay.

Zhushishunli5678The room was clean and tidy, with a pleasant fragrance. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options. It's conveniently located close to Kuanzhai Alley, making it easy to get around. The front desk lady was beautiful and had an excellent service attitude. When we left, she even gave us cute panda headbands and bottled water, which made the whole experience fantastic.

The location is absolutely perfect, really close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. I booked two room types in total: a twin standard room and a family room. Perhaps due to the prime location, the twin room wasn't huge, but the family room was quite spacious and even had a small play area for kids. The breakfast spread was also very diverse. Plus, there are so many delicious snacks around Chunxi Road! I'd definitely choose this place again next time, highly recommended!

I spent two nights at this beautiful hotel, on a visit to Emeishan with my girlfriend. It was an amazing experience! First of all, the pick-up from the train station by the hotel owner was really a welcome touch — he helped us greatly throughout our stay, making sure we had the best possible experience in Emeishan. The room itself was beautiful — amazing views from our own private balcony; a very tasteful, new and comfortable interior; impeccably clean; and a great selection of fruit, snacks, etc. in the room. A beautiful and convenient location too. The breakfast was really good — lots of dishes, and both days were different. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning, looking out at mountains, eating a delicious breakfast and drinking coffee. I would highly recommend visiting Emeishan itself, and I think this hotel is the perfect base for a trip there — the next day, we visited Leshan giant Buddha (not far away by train), before returning to Chengdu in the evening. Overall, a great place to stay, and I definitely want to visit again!

Guest UserThe first thing I would like to mention is the attentive and friendly staff: reception, at breakfast, room cleaning - everyone was kind, friendly and helpful in everything.
We got quick responses to our enquiries on Wechat - in the evening we asked about the use of appliances and a kind lady came and showed us how to use the washing machine and air conditioning.
The girl at reception (unfortunately I didn't remember the name, but it's a very nice girl with glasses) always answered any questions we had. Also, she even remembered our parcels from Taobao ordered to the hotel and when she saw us, she told us they had arrived. And then helped us unpack them. You could really feel the care in all the actions.
Next is a lovely big room with beautiful decor. The large round bed is cosy and soft and the bed linen is changed on request.
Good housekeeping. Every day we had towels changed and bottles of water replenished. In addition, we could always get extra water in the lobby. And noticing that we leave the room later, they did not disturb us early in the morning.
The room was quiet! Although there was one day when the tarmac was being laid at night outside with all the accompanying noise, but it really does not apply to the hotel.
The air conditioning and fridge worked perfectly. We were pleased with the presence of a mini washing machine (laundry detergent is available and replenished) and steamer in the room - such is not often met in hotels. The hairdryer had good sufficient power. Sockets are universal.
A bonus was a large mirror in the bathroom and a full-length mirror in the hall.
Also on one of the days we were unexpectedly brought a plate of fruit in the room, it was very nice!
The lift to the floors with hotel rooms is operated by guest cards, which guarantees more security.
To name things that could be improved, it is a bit dim lighting in the room. Also the tap in the bathroom sink was tight and seemed a little unreliable.
We had breakfast included - good, reasonably varied choice of food. The staff are friendly and keep a good eye on everything. They also remembered my preferences: I like to drink tea in the morning - and at one point they themselves came over and asked me if they could make me tea... so thoughtful!
There is also afternoon tea with desserts in the lobby.
Plus to the above, we like the location of the hotel - convenient, it's in an important central area with lots of shops, cafes, parks around, and metro stations close by.
The only thing is, if you're with multiple suitcases, consider that the path itself from the metro is nice but uneven and runs along knobbly tiles and crowded narrow sections.
Probably the best option with suitcases would be to take a taxi.
Our stay all week was excellent. This is a hotel we would love to return to. Thank you!
