Newly renovated hotel with the strategic location. About 4 intersection walk to Metro. There was only one staff can communicate in English. Our twin beds room was large with separate shower and bathroom. Free complementary drinking water and coffee. Our room located in the back side face to the construction site. It’s quite noisy cause it work from early morning till the late night. The highlight on the hotel was the restaurant. Variety of food for breakfast and the guest can be able to see the late view.

Check in was a breeze and the reception staff are helpful and speak some English. I was able to extend my stay from two to three nights no problem. The room was bright, clean and spacious with a nice hot shower and robes, slippers ad toiletries all provided. The hotel is easy to find and is in a great location. Very close to Wulin Square Metro and a gentle 30 minute walk to the West Lake. I didn't take the breakfast option but there's a cafe with espresso machine that serves OK coffee. Theonly thing I missed was a safety deposit box in the room but apart from that, the Pagoda was great and I'd happily stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Yandoo Hotel and had a positive experience. The hotel's location and ambiance was convenient. The food at the hotel was delicious with a wide varied selection of cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained including fitness center,pool and business center. The Wi-Fi and staffs were reliable and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Yandoo Hotel to business travelers/couples/families

Breakfast buffet is superb, a lot of food varieties, which you can hardly see in other Chinese Hotels. + Bathroom amenities are complete and they refill the bath soap & shampoo daily. + Bottled water is also complimentary and you can get more via call or in the lobby. + There's a laundry room on the 9th floor that you can use for free, laundry detergents are also provided. + There's a gym on the lobby floor if you'd like to break some sweat (dumbbell sets with bench, treadmills, chest fly machine, stair climber, etc.). + The staffs are super friendly and helpful. + There's a mini-mart right next to the hotel. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay. Would be coming back when I visited again.

Got the highest level room, at 24th storey - believe an upgrade was given tho the front desk did not mention. Appreciate the nice gesture. Had a 2 comfortable night with the hotel. Room is high tech with curtain control. Bidet is also present, totally amazed. Best thing about the hotel, separated toilet from showers. Nearby the hotel is a local supermarket. Right at foot of hotel is a convenience store. Opposite is a couple of pharmacy. Train station exit is just right along the main road pathway, 1min accessible. There is also Tim Hortons in the building. Other bubble tea is also around the hotel. Definitely liking this hotel that i'm booking it again for my return trip. Only negative about this hotel is pick up and drop off point for DiDi etc is along the mainroad on bike lane, which can be dangerous since many bikes are around all the time.

Location is good which inside the water village but the only things need to beware was the staircase before check in counter. Shutter drop you at the side and you need to take own heavy luggage by staircase, then only you will see the check in counter inside. God blessed that we manage to get helper when check out.

Hotel facilities are amazing , good to go with Family. The only put off was breakfast as there was NO proper labels and segregation for Muslim and vegetarian guests. Even in live cooking section for eggs the same pan was used for pork and plain eggs. This is not expected from Marriott a worldwide chain of hotels ,it’s quite disrespectful for Muslims and even vegetarians.

The front desk lady kept asking for 1. The arriving airport 2. the license plate of my car, despite the fact that I told her I came by high speed rail directly from Hong Kong and I didn't drive any car. The room is nice and quiet. The shower place is old fashioned and worn. I could not find any USB outlet for my charger. Lastly, The breakfast does not provide enough variety on Western dishes, quite disappointing I must say.

This is a perfect location for travelers especially for people who are the first time visiting Hangzhou , it is just 6-8 mins walking distance to West Lake, Kerry Center is just next door, very convivence for shopping, have a coffee, dinner etc. It's my second stay, i believe this Shangri-la is the best in terms of hotel facilities, location among the nearby luxury hotel such as Grand H. It was a very pleasant stay. PS: A big compliment to their Reservation team, they are patient, pay attention in details, excellent!

I traveled in Hangzhou for 3 days and 2 nights and chose to stay at Sofitel Hangzho West Lake because the location of the hotel is near West Lake. The room is clean and spacious, with complete equipment. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is very delicious. I also received a set of mooncakes as a gift from booking this time. I am very impressed. In the future, if I have a chance to travel to Hangzhou, I will come back to stay here again.

The front desk is quick to check us in when we arrived around midnight. The bed and pillow are comfortable. There is a cute robot who always delivers our water bottles. The breakfast buffet has good croissants. The location is good as there are many restaurants next to the hotel. However, we had to endure 3 nights of HOT AIR from the aircon. Even if we try lowering the aircon temperature, it automatically jumps up to 28°C or 29°C. We booked the Season-Themed Family Room with Minibar room.

I really don't want to mention this hotel to anyone, would like to keep it it for myself only 🤭 The hotel everything is fantastic n the staff is wonderful. The west lake just Infront of us, the restaurant nearby are many many. 👍👍👍👍👍 Don't ask, stay and you shall love it.

This hotel is definitely a premium one, from the greeting at the entrance by a very friendly and outgoing male receptionist at the first floor to lovely female receptionist on the 22 floor. Although, the check in time was about forty minutes wait the staff regularly updated us on the situation of the room so this made the wait time easier. Also, the hotel is located in a prime area with easy access to malls, restaurants and other fast food brands. The room was modern, with a unique layout. The amenities from TV, to bathtub, smart toilet, curtains, and lights were also functional and easy to use. The bathtub was spacious, which provided for lots of comfort and space to move for someone with a larger body frame. Additionally, the toilet and bathroom were quite spacious and very clean. Other than the room the hotel has spa, bar, restaurant, and Cafe services. Breakfast was top-notch, with many Western and Chinese dishes to pick from. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and loved that we were able to enjoy dishes from around the world. All in all, lovely hotel that depicts premium in staff, location, room, and food.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Clean and central location. Good restaurant for breakfast. Easy check in and check out process. Lots of bottled water. Great! You will never get wrong with this hotel. Good memories and shops are just around the corner. Eat access to convenient stores and local banks.

The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was attentive and friendly, but they didn't speak English and were sometimes unwilling to help. For instance, they refused to help me heat my food in the microwave. Additionally, you have to carry your own luggage as the hotel staff does not assist with it. Location is great, no doubts.

A very nice and spacious room with a comfortable bed and a great open view of the park and the mountains. The rooms have modern controls for the lights as well as motorized curtains, which made for convenience both when going to sleep and waking up in the morning. It was also nice that a phone charging cable with the three different adapters was provided. The bathroom is spacious and has a large sink and shower. It is nice that the shower has a choice of rainfall or regular nozzle. The shower controls were also very modern and you merely pushed the button for your preferred shower method. It seemed that the guest before me was unaware of this and had broken the temperature control and not reported it to the hotel. The front desk was quick to send a repair person who was very thorough in fixing the control. While the shower had good water pressure, it seemed at peak times that there was not enough hot water as the shower temperature was just slightly warm. To get a hot shower, I had to wait until late in the afternoon or late at night. The checkin was fast and the attendant was kind enough to honour my request for a non-smoking room on a high floor. The lobby is spacious with a nice tea area. It is also convenient to have a Starbucks inside the hotel. However, it was a bit noisy as other guests were not always mindful of the calibre of hotel they were in, which ranks in the 5 star category. It was difficult to try to get some work done with people playing videos loudly on their phones, talking on speaker phone or kids running around. This really took away from what should be a calming space. While the hotel attendants tried to maintain order, it really was a losing battle for them. The location is really dependent on what you are looking for. I found it nice to have the open park view but there are not many interesting restaurants around. For the middle eastern food, you need to bike about 1.5km. This was fine when the weather was good, but it was not convenient during the latter part of my stay when it rained all day. A few things to be aware of when booking. The breakfast was large with a lot of options but it really is a Chinese style breakfast. To call it Western and Chinese is quite misleading as there were only a few Western options, such as omelets. There is a great large screen television in the room, but only 2 or 3 English channels with the others in Chinese. There is a shuttle bus to the market, but it was a bit disappointing to learn that it only runs twice per day. The main area for the hotel to work on is its consistency of service. Some of the employees were outstanding but there seems to be a need for additional training. For example, the room came with a complimentary daily minibar, but I had to ask each day for it to be refilled. This was quite embarrassing to do, especially when the stocking was just some soft drinks with a single Tsingtao beer. Also, when I was in the toilet, one of the chefs walked out without washing his hands. While he may have washed them (hopefully) when he returned to the kitchen, he should be sure to wash them in front of guests. Lastly, the pool and fitness area seemed to require special access and the people working at the desk for the pool made me feel very uncomfortable when I wanted to see the facilities, so I just left and did not return. This was particularly disappointing because one of the reasons I booked the hotel was for these facilities. Overall it is a very nice hotel and I would book it again. But additional employee training would be appropriate so the service does not take away from what is a high quality hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit the Wuzhen historical site. The facilities are top-notch, and the rooms are well-maintained. The breakfast options are excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet area within the historical district, offering beautiful scenery. This allows you to enjoy a peaceful morning inside the historical district. While it is not the cheapest option in the area, it is definitely worth the price.

Spacious nicely deco hotel room, located inside scenic town , wide variety breakfast option, good service. Only issue was our room toilet had a strong cigarette smell.

First time being in Grand New Century Hotel. Started with warm welcoming at the front desk with Ms Wang(王翠); staffs here kind are helpful, certainly meet five star hotel standard . Room are quite and clean with open view . Gym open from 06:30 till 22:00 . Good to have some exercise before bed . Over all I had a great night here, would return for sure.

Great location. Just 5 minutes walking to Tongxiang Railway Station. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped with the amenities. The staff was very helpful and breakfast spread was typical western and Chinese.

The hotel is very good and I will come here often in the future. It is very suitable for children. The room is large, the facilities are good, and the bedding is comfortable. Whether it is breakfast or other restaurants in the village, the food is very good. There are many activities for children, and the service is very detailed and the response is very timely. The hotel has a shuttle bus to various places in Wu Village, and it can also go to Dongxizha, which is very convenient. I originally stayed for one night and went to other places, but later changed my itinerary to stay for another night. It was really a good experience.

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Booked for a night to celebrate an anniversary and the hotel was very sweet to upgrade us to a gorgeous huge unit. The personal butler Xiaochen made contact via wechat two days before my arrival and sorted everything for us - restaurant recommendations and reservations, and tours and boat trips and driving instructions and maps - and answered all my questions. During our stay, she and hotel manager Kevin were very attentive and most thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble at all. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of choice. I particularly enjoyed their herbal sachet making activity. The evening turndown included a herbal foot bath which was very much appreciated after a long day of walking. All in all, a most enjoyable stay. Will return.

Overall a good experience. I have to point out though that the pool is lukewarm and not fully heated. I would also like to point out that the concierge chose to speak in mandarin to my friend and didn’t include me in the conversation even though the booking I made was on my name and he was able to speak English. I had to guess what was happening the entire time.
