First accommodation with unlocked sky tv which is pretty useful for rainy days! Large and clean room, friendly stuff giving also some recommendations around the hotel.
O hotel de Marlborough teve UMA estadia Muito Mais agradável para terminar a nossa viagem para a Nova Zelândia.O quarto de hotel era Muito maior do que as nossas estadias anteriores, onde podemos abrir confortavelmente as nossas bagagens de Grande dimensão para reembalagem. Aparte das espaçosas salas, gostamos de limpar as casas de banho e de limpar as nossas salas de serviço de quartos sempre que voltamos do dia para o dia, mas o serviço de quartos foi o serviço que o pessoal nos forneceu. Chegámos à meia-noite, enquanto tivemos um longo passeio de Fox Glacier para chegar aqui, mas o pessoal estava sempre pronto para nos receber, e até nos deu recomendações sobre o que visitar em Marlborough durante a nossa estadia. Durante a nossa estadia, houve ocasiões em que optámos por comprar comida de volta para desfrutar do nosso quarto de hotel e o serviço de quarto estava disponível para nos fornecer tudo o que precisamos de uma refeição bonita, incluindo pratos, vidros de vinho e até mesmo condimentos. Muito recomendado!!
Great accommodation. Comfortable beds with multiple shared bathrooms so no long wait — good facilities. Hospitality and service was good, owners were nice and friendly. Recommend if planning on a stay.
The facilities were fine. The double room we reserved came with only that.. a double bed. Not even a nightstand next to the bed or a table in the room. There was also no heater or fan and the room felt musty with a bit of moisture in the air. Could use a dehumidifier when it's raining out like it was this day/night. The other guests in the hotel were the problem. I was woken up at 4AM by someone upstairs in the smoking area chatting so loudly on their phone... I had to get out of my bed in the middle of the night and ask them to go somewhere else or end their call. It was absurd. In the middle of the night someone cooked a very fragrant meal that made the entire building smell - it was so intense that it even permeated into our room which was the furthest room away from the kitchen... not a great stay when you can't even sleep through the night and feel like you are sitting in the middle of someone's meal.. Not worth the price

We got one double bed room and one room with a double bed and a single bed ( the single bed was really tiny btw). We went to the reception to ask because we were confused.
And the service wasn’t good at all. The woman at the reception told us that they don’t have two rooms that kind. And we ask why they offer something like that. She couldn’t tell us. She told us she could get us a downgrade to a family room. But that’s all she could do. And then she just laughed at us. We think it’s really rude.
The breakfast is not good at all. There is toast, some fruits, pancakes and oatmeal. Could be better.
After we checked out we just went outside and I saw on my account that the hotel charged my credit card with 100€. So I went back inside. And the man looked it up and told me ups was a mistake and he returned the money. I just found that really odd.
Excellent check in, we were a bit early but we were welcomed and given milk to go with my cuppa. Lovely clean room with great tv channels, a fridge, cooking facility and everything we needed. Very pleasant stay, thanks.
The hotel is located in the downtown area of Blenheim, the capital of Marlborough Province, the famous white wine producing region of New Zealand. It is within 10 minutes walking distance from Blenheim railway station, bus station or downtown square. There are plenty of parking spaces in the hotel square, which is very convenient for walking and driving. The hotel rooms have a wide view and beautiful scenery. Although the rooms are a bit old, all the facilities and bedding are very tidy, clean and comfortable. All the staff are smiling, patient and enthusiastic. The hotel offers three meals a day, the menu is not extensive, but the food quality and taste are excellent. We stayed for two days. The experience was excellent and the price/performance ratio was very high. Going to a hotel not to be missed in Blenheim, highly recommended!

GGuest UserHad a lovely stay at Scenic Hotel Marlborough to end off our trip in New Zealand. The hotel room was much bigger than our previous hotel stays, where we could comfortably open both our large-sized luggage to repack. Apart from the spacious rooms, we love how clean the toilets were and how tidy our rooms are done up by room service each time we return from our day out. The stand out however, was the service provided to us by the staff. We arrived around midnight as we had a long drive from Fox Glacier to get here but the staff was ever ready to receive us, and even gave us recommendations on what to visit around Marlborough during our stay. During our stay, there were occasions where we opted to buy food back to enjoy in our hotel room and the room service was readily available to provide us whatever we needed to have a lovely meal in, including plates, wine glasses and even condiments. Highly recommended!!
GGuest UserAn excellent boutique experience. Sennen House has a story to tell, and it’s a beautiful place to discover it. Set in a quiet location, its grounds are fantastic, utilising every piece of space cleverly; the welcoming croquet set was a taste of what was to come.
The room we stayed in was great. Nice views and good spaces. Having a separate living and dining area is always a bonus, but its well appointed kitchen with a coffee machine was an extra one! The little baking treats left each day were lovely touches and were enjoyed. It was lovely to organise and portion out our own breakfast each morning, and having ownership of this was a bonus.
If we are lucky enough to visit Picton again, we would definitely make this venue our first choice.
KKimitravelWe felt very comfortable. A friendly welcome, a large room, and free parking. The center is just a few minutes' walk away.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't enough to keep the room warm in the winter.
In the summer, you can enjoy the lovely pool :)

GGuest UserVery cozy 2 bedrooms cottages. The farm animals were so adorable. The fruits are free to pick & taste yummy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the cottage. Highly recommended 😊

The only thing is the power outage in the morning, which causes some inconvenience. Next time I come to New Zealand South Island, I will arrange to stay again.

- squeaky clean and spick and span;
- very comfortable beds that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack till getting up, which is the last thing you want.
- quiet and reclusive, but easily accessible to the town;
