"The room isn't huge, but it was perfect for two people. When I checked in, I asked for a sea-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel having a gym and a swimming pool is a huge plus! It's super convenient with a mall next door, and it was so easy to visit all the nearby attractions and try out local food spots – everything was about a 20-minute walk away. Getting to the airport takes about 30 minutes if there's no traffic. I highly recommend this place! There are water dispensers on every floor, which is great for refilling bottles. The bed isn't huge, but it's comfortable enough to sleep on. If I come back to Penang, I'd definitely choose to stay here again."

"I stayed in a basic twin room. Having read the reviews regarding the size of the room for two people were small, as a solo traveler, I requested two twin beds. Let’s start with some positive words to describe my stay here. Positive: - Location is convenient to Georgetown sites and across the road from a mall with a supermarket, and local eateries. - On the 2nd day, housekeeping came and cleaned the room. - Air conditioner and water pressure were great. - Staff friendly and polite. - WiFi worked! Not so great: - The hotel has A LOT of wear and tear. This was my third hotel in Malaysia in the previous two for the same price were beyond excellent so when I enter the room, I have to honestly say I was disappointed and considering shifting to another hotel. The room even for one person was just enough so I can’t imagine for two people! - 15 mins after checking into the room, part of the ceiling fell on the bed! - The hotel does not supply any bathroom amenities, but they are available on request. This was not a dealbreaker as I typically travel with my own toiletries. - This is due to NO FAULT of the hotel. On the second night from 11 PM until 3am outside on the main road of the hotel they were doing road repairs and construction. As the hotel is only four floors high and no windows to the main road the sound was so loud and the fumes from the concrete and tar infiltrated the hotel and into the room. I had to place towels under the door to prevent fumes from coming in. - No safe in the room, so I didn’t leave any valuables in the room. Suggest paying a little more and stay elsewhere. There are other hotels around Georgetown. If you do stay here, it’s a good motivator to get out of the room to explore Georgetown!"

"Misleading and Inconsistent Children’s Breakfast Pricing - Prior to my stay, I referred to the TRIP website, which clearly stated that the breakfast price for children was RM44.80 per child. However, on the morning of 26th December 2025, I was charged RM56.00 per child for my 6-year-old. When I questioned this discrepancy, the manager claimed that the updated price was already reflected on the website. This was not accurate at the time of my booking, and I was not informed of any price change in advance. I have screenshots of the pricing information as reference. This situation was misleading and caused unnecessary inconvenience."

"Front desk is very friendly, the check in is fast and smooth. They also offer us 2 welcome drinks at the lobby lounge. A Rm 100 deposit is required and will be return upon check out. Room is spacious, but the lighting a little dark, I prefer brighter room. City area, easy to get a grab, very convenient with a pharmacy nearby and also Starbucks."

"First time going to Penang, loved the location of the hotel. Amazing view of the beach from our room, and saw fireworks one night was a treat. They keep the beach clean for the property, each day saw it being cleared. The pool is a good refreshing temperature. Majority of the time isn't overly busy. Good depth and size of pool. I enjoyed swimming laps each day and relaxing on the sunloungers. Kept clean, fresh towels available. Good pool toys for the kids. The gym was amazing, good equipment and machines- beautiful view of the ocean. I would prefer the air con colder as the one in there didnt cool the room down enough and if wasn't standing near it, it got very hot. The water provided in there also isn't cold which i didnt like ( is in a machine that says keeping warm, which i dont understand shouldn't drink warm water when working out, don't know if it's a culture thing? Wasn't to my liking anyway) The room is spacious, bathroom bit tight but made do. Nice amenities topped up daily. Bed comfortable. Air con in room works amazing. Cleanliness in room noticed could've been better as after room being 'cleaned' noticed my hair still on floor and sand in corner from shoes. So seems the floor doesn't get swept or mopped as much as we thought. Buffet breakfast was great, yummy food and lots of everything. Plenty of staff i just think they need to be more attentive and watch the buffet e.g kids touching food ( saw few things) and make sure the food is safe for other guests to eat. We ate at the hotel lunch and dinner also, the staff mean well but there is a language barrier and was few instances where our meals didn't come out correct like we got a tomato soup when we pointed and said on the menu tomato pasta. We are patient enjoyed the food and kept going back despite the mistakes. We understand a second language can be difficult. Amazing fresh cakes in fridge we just about tried them all. The staff also did a lovely birthday song and candles on cake my husband brought. Overall had a lovely time."

"everything is ok.. the breakfast food is delicious while eating you can see the sea.. the view is beautiful.. the location is good.. the beach is close to the hotel.. only the cleanliness is a little lacking in the room.. the bed sheet is dirty but a little.. the worst thing is the smell of the pillow is a bit less pleasant.. hope the hotel can make improvements"

"Overall is nice and new hotel, I love the hidden gem beach. just a little bit noisy from outside, i can heard the motor sound at night,soundproof need to be ungrade and the spoon in the room got a stain, quite disgusting."
