"It was clean, but the room had a pungent, paint-like smell that was irritating to the nose. The mirror didn't have a complementary light, so it was dim. As for amenities, soap and shampoo are standard. I've stayed at many hotels, but this was the only one that provided water instead. It's not bad, but I think soap and shampoo are more of a priority. I was hesitant to bring my own because every other hotel I've stayed at provided them. The remote control was annoying because it didn't function immediately; you'd lose your patience pressing the button on the left part of the large white circle on the remote."

"I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing."

"Hi. I have stayed here 3 times now and everytime the staff have been friendly and room is clean. You are right next to country Mall .lots of shops and supermarkets. If you want a massage I would recommend you get it there . 100% message and treatment, no funny business"

"Another fabulous stay at this wonderful little hostel. Great location, with some really amazing vegetarian/vegan restaurants within a few minutes walk. The place is super clean, and the pods are so comfortable with fresh sheets, comfy mattress and soft pillow. Hot water for showers, towels, lock for pod door, all provided by the incredibly helpful staff. Can’t sing their praises any more, absolutely wonderful."

"The location was good.. Near to IT Park and Ayala Mall. 7/11 is at the ground floor. Many restaurants and cafés nearby you won't get hungry. Room size is actually big and spacious for 1 person And clean . The food was good though it was limited to 3 dishes. However, 1. I stayed for 2nights and nobody cleaned up my room even though I put the sign outside the door. There was a cleaner I met at the ground floor though. 2. The bathroom hot shower is not functioning so i have to deal with the cold water in the cold room 3. The water is stocked on the floor after bath and it won't completely subside even the next days. 4. The blanket is too thin . I recommend to bring your own blanket next time 5. The aircon looks old and dirty and it was soooo noisy. 6. My room is near the elevator and 100% you'll hear the indian students/residents shouting and playing before and after riding the elevator. 7. The wifi is toooo slow and the room has limited mobile signal too. Good thing I still managed to finish my online class even though the signal was on and off. Anyways, it was a good experience to stay in a budget hotel."

"EXCELLENT AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATION. My mother checked in a couple of days just before Christmas as she had to undergo an important medical check up at the Cebu Doctors Hospital which is just a two-minute walking distance away. This hotel is the newest addition to hospitality facilities within the Capitol Site area. Although dubbed “mini” in size, the room is visibly spacious for double occupancy, provided with very clean private toilet with hot and cold bath, open type clothes cabinet with shelves for things, and a built-in safety deposit box. Their dining area, which is accessible by stairs or by elevator at the second floor, serves free breakfast, affordable combo meals, and free drinking water to fill the pitcher in the hotel room. The dining hall also has a billiards table and entertainment area. Being located in the heart of the bustling City of Cebu, a traveller can transact business with nearby Government offices, stroll and score one’s favorites at popular shopping malls of Ayala, SM, and Robinsons, dine at restaurants just beside the hotel, and explore notable tourist spots within and beyond the city. For those traveling with vehicles, there is also a huge and secured parking area located just obliquely across the hotel. "It was a Saturday morning when our area were scheduled for a rotational brownout. We missed the social media announcement. But, to save the day to be worthwhile, we booked in this hostel. The Front Desk was so accommodating and even gave us complimentary early check in to ease ourselves from stress. The guards at the Front was so nice, too. The location is just at the Corner Entry to Cebu Business Park coming from Hipodromo. It is very convenient and accessible. The room was decent. The AC works well. The TV was WiFi-ready. The bed was comfortable. However, the shower was broken. The water spill on the valve between the main faucet and the overhead shower. The elevation of the guest room floor and the shower floor was too thin that makes the water from the shower to spill going to the room. The window was dirty with watermarks and dust-turned-cement residues. The towel hook was also out-of-place as a hanged towel will get when you turn on the shower. I think the planning was not carefully thought of. I do not know. The plus were the refrigerator and the microwave oven. It was a good try but might not come back."

"clean room, but there was this horrible smell in our room but we asked them to spray and clean the room, we asked them that before we left. after 10 hours we got back to the hotel and they still didn’t clean nor sprayed the room, so we asked again and waited for 30 mins then they finally cleaned it and sprayed it. but all in all, everyone was so nice, kind, and respectful."
