Great hiking trails right outside the door, and in the summer, you can find lots of mullets and blueberries. Several fishing lakes in the area and a great swimming area with jetty about 1 km away. Great skiing opportunities in winter for cross-country skiing, and if you want to go downhill, it is 30 km to Kongsberg. The cottage has a nice and well-equipped kitchen area. Separate laundry room with washing machine. Spacious hallway. The cottage has three bedrooms; one with double bed, two with a family bunk bed. Space for one or two extra children in the family bunk beds. Open kitchen/living room with plenty of space for shared meals and cozy hours. Underfloor heating both in the living room and kitchen as well as both bathrooms. Wood stove for cold days and a cozy fire pit outside. Short way to Drammen, Hvittingfoss and Kongsberg with shops, restaurants, water parks and other activities. Great and popular vantage point nearby. The cabin is part of a mountain farm dating back to the 18th century in an area with a lot of history; yoi will find more information about this in the cabin. The cottage is beautifully furnished with an open kitchen/living room. TV with satellite and several foreign channels. There are two bedrooms in the cottage, both with a double bed. Bed linen and towels can be rented on site. There is plenty of seating outside, both under cover and on the open terrace. There is abundant wildlife in the area. Here, you can see moose, roe deer, deer, reindeer and several species of birds. Brattstølen ski resort is about 3 km away, and if you want larger conditions, it is a short drive to ski resorts on Golsfjellet, Valdres Alpinsenter, Storefjell, Bualia and Hemsedal. In Gol, you will find Skaga Village Museum and a great water park, Tropicana. Gol also offers activities such as go-karting, Escape Room, dog sledding, sleigh rides, snowmobile safaris, "Frozen Lake marathon", ice climbing, great ice-skating rinks and much more.
