This place is very close to Lake Yamanaka, and its off-street location makes it very quiet. If you're driving, you'll need to set your GPS to Yamanakako Post Office. The staff, especially the younger woman, was very polite and could communicate in both English and Mandarin. The whole place is a traditional Japanese ryokan with a bit of history. Don't expect it to be brand new, but it's clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. We booked room 102 with a garden, and we were so lucky to see a clear view of Mount Fuji on our first day! It was truly amazing to see it from our room. The only minor inconvenience was that you have to reserve a time slot for bathing. There are two private onsen rooms outside the guest rooms. When you reserve a slot, it becomes your private bath, complete with a shower area and a small indoor tub. They also provide a full range of amenities, including cleansing oil and facial wash. Overall, it's still a great choice! Highly recommended.
The facilites so good and have everything basic. The location can see the mountain fuji from outside. Love to sleepng on tatami. The space room is acceptable. The owner very kind and helpful.
Lovely hotel with spacious traditional Japanese rooms. The staff are friendly. The public bath is really nice. They serve a very affordable breakfast and dinner, we didn’t get to try it but we appreciate the option as there aren’t too many restaurants nearby. The location is quiet and peaceful, a little out of the way if you are relying on public transport, but if you’re driving it’s excellent with ample parking.
The hotel is run by an elderly gentlemen, so we couldn’t reach him by e-mail when we wanted to send there our luggage, so we had to send it directly to our next location. The hotel itself is in a rather old building, so it doubtfully will be up to the most comfort-loving travelers‘ taste, but it was clean and neat, and the view from the room was amazing 😍
On the down part, since the building was old, as soon as more lodgers arrived there came a stinking smell from the bathroom with was rather unpleasant.
Also I’d suggest bringing your own slippers, since the lodgers are required to take off their shoes right from the threshold as in the most traditional Japanese houses, so if you have issues with wearing slippers worn by anybody else before you, take your own.
The futon beds were very comfy, however the blanket was rather hot for the weather (we went in April).
All in all, you get all the most necessary things like toothbrushes, bathrobes, towels. For its price it’s very nice :)
And the location is 25 min walk from Kawaguchiko station, and the walk is very nice with view of Fuji-san from many streets.
Muito bom

Great
GGuest UserEven though it's a ryokan-style hotel, the private room was quite large and spacious. It had its own bathroom and sink inside the room. The bedding was a futon on the floor, and yukata robes were provided. The shared bathrooms, separated by gender, were outside the room. They were large enough for 3-4 people to shower at once and could be locked. There was also a large soaking tub in the bathroom. But the view of Mount Fuji? Absolutely unbeatable! Especially in the morning with the golden light, Fuji-san looked incredibly beautiful.

GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly. They stored our luggage before check in and brought it straight to the room. The hotel is located right next to the station, a lot of renting and shops outside. The view was for the mountain Fuji - very beautiful and amazing. The onsen was good, we relaxed after an intensive day. Room had everything needed and provided a full authentic japanese experience, including very tasty tea. Would recommend for visiting, 100% good quality for the price.
EEmmanuel chan 8One of the characteristics of a traditional hot spring hotel is that the shower time is from 4 to 9 o'clock. If you don't pay attention, it will be awkward.
Among other things, the food is quite good and relatively average, but it is more difficult to communicate.
The hotel is relatively remote and there is no shuttle, but it is probably one of the hotels closest to Lake Kawaguchi. You can walk to Lake Kawaguchi in 3 minutes. The scenery is beautiful and you can see Mount Fuji directly.

He has special red slippers, they are so special
There is a convenience store across the road, how convenient is it?
If you have a car, there will be no problem. If you don’t have a car, there will be some inconvenience.
WWYLIN00The host was extremely friendly and gave a thorough introduction to every corner of the guesthouse. Breakfast was also provided, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient—it's only a 5-minute walk to the famous Lawson Mount Fuji photo spot. From my room, I could even see Mount Fuji directly. For the price, this place offers incredible value for money.
GGuest UserAn excellent experience! The environment is elegant and comfortable, and the guests are all high-quality. There's an open kitchen with great hygiene. Coffee is available daily from 8 AM to 10 AM, and other teas are self-service 24 hours a day. Guests can prepare their own meals here, and everyone is very considerate about washing and returning used utensils. The water pressure is strong, and there's plenty of hot water. The toilets are fully automated. You must change into slippers upon entering. The common areas are quiet, and people rarely speak loudly. The front desk lady, who is *********, speaks Mandarin and is very professional, friendly, and attentive. There are large and small supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. Bicycles are also available for rent.
GGuest UserRoom type: Small European style hotel, there are tatami rooms in the room, some rooms have open-air or private style, and there are also loans and cut-out styles (chartered styles). [
• Landscape: Many guests like ”Sitting in the living room and seeing Mount Fuji”, the scenery outside the window is very good, suitable for punching in and relaxing.
• New and old equipment: the appearance of the building and the room are slightly old. Some passengers mentioned that the wallpaper cracks and the bathroom is slightly old, but the room is large and clean, and the equipment is complete.
• Note: There are many stairs, which is not suitable for people with mobility problems or pushing a lot of luggage.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers a beautiful lakeside view directly in front of Lake Shoji, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. Although the property is quite old, it is well maintained and full of charming vintage Japanese character. The service was warm and attentive, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious.
The location is especially convenient for travelers driving around the Fuji area, with easy access and a comfortable overall experience. We also reserved a private onsen for bathing, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Please note that the room itself did not include a shower — only a toilet — but this matched the traditional Japanese-style ryokan experience.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers seeking an authentic, nostalgic Japanese atmosphere with beautiful scenery and genuine hospitality.
GGuest UserFrom the room, you can see Mount Fuji. It is very fast to go to the shore of Hirano. If you want to see the morning sunshine in Jinshan, you can open the curtains to see the clarity of Mount Fuji today and then decide whether to go downstairs. There is a private bathroom in the room. The room is large and the hotel is not new overall. You have to carry your luggage upstairs without elevator. It takes7-8 minutes to drag your luggage from Hirano bus station to the hotel.
GGuest UserPerfect location with a view of Mt. Fuji right outside our window. The ryokan style accommodation was simple but very comfortable. The management was very trusting of their guests. You could purchase anything that is on sale and leave the money in a money box. They also provided free transfers to and from kawaguchiko bus station from 9 am. But because our bus to Kofu was going to leave at 9 am they were kind enough to drop us at 8:30am. We were very grateful.
If I could suggest any improvement it would be to have a bathroom in all blocks. Right now it’s only in blockB and one has to walk a short distance from the other blocks to have a bath. They could also provide a change of towels after a few days. It’s all right if you’re doing a short stay but not if you’re staying for a week or more with no towel change. But all said we would return to this hotel if we went back to Kawaguchiko.
