Nice hotel very convenient for one night and comfortable for 1 night stay. Change money before you come to the hotel as no atm nearby and visa and mastercard not accepted. If in transit you can claim 40 rmb per person back at the airport for spending on food before your flight. Come early and bring your boarding passes!

Quando fui, já passava do horário da recepção, e só cheguei uma hora da madrugada, mas o comerciante gentilmente deixou a chave. Não esperava que alguém viesse ajudem-me com a bagagem.Todos os dias há jovens enérgicos a conversar e a divertir-se.O quintal é muito bonito, só que o ralo do chão da casa de banho está um pouco entupido, o problema não é grande. Mais importante, é muito perto da Qilou Old Street e da Bell Tower, e o tráfego é muito conveniente. O dono da loja de conveniência e o segurança da rua ao lado estão muito entusiasmados. Quando se perdem, também ficam ansiosos para dar instruções. Boas pessoas viverão uma vida segura. Sejam todos bem-vindos para ficar!

The location of the hotel is great, making it convenient for getting around. However, the hotel itself is old and very rundown. The entire place smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the carpet had a moldy odor, which made the stay very unpleasant. We even had to wear masks just to enter because of the overwhelming smell. Would not recommend unless improvements are made.

Highly Recommended 100% (even for foreigners) 👏🏻👏🏻🔥: This hotel is one of the best stays I have had since coming to China. At this price, it is simply unbeatable.
The owner is exceptional, very kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about his guests. The reception staff are also friendly and professional. Thanks to this experience, Haikou has become my favorite city in China. The owner even lent me his motorcycle for free to move around the city, which shows how generous and welcoming he is.
The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well maintained. They are cleaned daily, with amenities renewed every day. The bed is comfortable, the environment is calm and peaceful. The hotel is near of many famous place and restaurants 💯✨.
This is truly the best hotel for this price, with an outstanding manager. I had one of my best stay in China here and 100% recommend this hotel 👏🏻👏🏻💯.

The staff front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. They provided free shuttle service too from airport even at 1am. Room was clean and spacious for the money you pay super worth your money. Very near to airport around 10 mins drive.

Tudo foi perfeito nesta acomodação. Há muitos supermercados por perto, diversos restaurantes e lojas variadas. A praia fica a 5 minutos a pé. Você pode alugar uma bicicleta bem ao lado do hotel (40 ienes/dia). A vista do apartamento é incrível. O apartamento é limpo e o serviço é bom. Mais do que satisfeito com esta acomodação, não poderia desejar mais nada.

100塊的特價房，住一宿趕第二天的早班機，智能窗簾，我們住的是無窗房，但並不是沒有窗，是窗外面是牆。住一晚也不影響啥。周圍還是挺熱鬧的，樓下有很多便利店。兩個年輕的接待也都很熱情友好。附近的早餐很多是七八點鐘才營業，趕早班機的不知道來得及。附近肯德基和麥當勞都有，肯德基的早餐便宜，9.9就能買一份。有接送機服務，我們自駕所以沒用，但是前台的小妹妹有主動詢問登記。洗澡的熱水蠻好的！

Riyuehai Hotel is truly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They even did my laundry for free, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The room was spotless and cleaned every single day by the housekeeping team, who kept everything fresh and tidy. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, a shopping mall, and a variety of restaurants, including many international options with cuisines from around the world.
The entire property is very well maintained, and the pool area is clean, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. I enjoyed every part of my stay here and highly recommend Riyuehai Hotel. I will definitely be coming back.

Very near to the airport with free shuttle that comes every 30 minutes. Room is clean and there are eating places 5 minutes walk away. Great hotel for transit or short stay.

GGuest UserI originally booked a garden-view room, but the front desk upgraded me to an 85-square-meter supreme sea-view room for less than 300 a night – incredible value for money! While the facilities aren't brand new, the room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom very well-kept. The highlight is definitely the sea view! Being on a high floor, there's nothing obstructing the panoramic view of the ocean and palm trees right when you wake up. The pool and lawn downstairs are also gorgeous. The value is unbeatable; I'll definitely choose this place again next time! 👍

HHweiling OwThe place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area.
We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point.
There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views.
From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day.
You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful.
This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.

AAnonymous UserI have mixed feelings about this place. The best part is the location. You are on a main road with many shops, restaurants and bus stops as well as the beach. I also liked the pool despite it being a little too shallow. The view from my balcony was also great.
One problem was cleanliness. Never walk around the room barefoot cause your feet will get dirty. It also looked like the crockery and kitchen utensils were not cleaned before I arrived. As you can see some of the utensils were dusty!
Hot water was another issue. Obviously you need hot water to properly wash your hands and dirty dishes. However I only had hot water in the shower, not in the kitchen nor bathroom sink.
This leads to my next issue which is service. I told the staff about the lack of hot water on the Friday and they said they would fix it at some point during the day while I am out with my friend. I come back at roughly 9pm to find out there is still no hot water. On Saturday morning I remind them to fix it before I go out again, hoping when I return I will have hot water. While I'm at the beach I miss a call from them. Turns out instead of fixing the issue, they want to move me to another room with hot water. When I return from the beach I saw the message and told them I am ready to move to the new room. But they replied saying I was too late and they gave the room to someone else. (If I did take that room, does that mean the other guest would have my room and have to suffer with cold water instead of me?) Instead of taking responsibility for not providing hot water or trying to fix it, the staff tried to blame me and said I can't get hot water cause I was too busy to answer their calls. When I pushed back on that comment their next excuse was that a lack of hot water is a common problem in Hainan? But then they said they would check if there was a free room with hot water the next day (Sunday). However, they never contacted me about that again so I just gave up trying. If they couldn't fix the problem, they could have at least offered me compensation but they didn't. This experience made me feel dismissed and unimportant as a paying guest.
To sum up, I wouldn't stay here again based on my experience. If they were to give me a room with hot water in the shower AND in both sinks, that's great. However, I would still have to deal with dirty floors and cookware + tableware. It's definitely not the worst place I've stayed in but regardless it didn't meet my standards so I still wouldn't stay here if I return to Sanya. Disappointing.

GGuest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was incredibly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet at night, allowing for a deep sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water with just the right pressure, and the toiletries smelled fresh. The breakfast was varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out, which was so heartwarming! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area; the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend it!

Lying on the bed, looking around, the night view outside the window comes into view, which makes you feel happy. The hotel's waiters are warm and friendly and take good care of guests. The nearby scenery is also unforgettable. Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay.

It really felt like a home away from home. Even though it's quite close to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet and didn't affect my sleep in the slightest. I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

MM15907****Excellent! The owner, a friendly guy from Northeast China, was very welcoming. The place was clean and super close to the beach, which was really convenient. The sea was beautiful, and I even caught two clownfish – there were tons of different kinds of fish around the rocks. Oh, and enjoying a beer on the beach at night with the breeze was just incredible! When I left, the owner even gave me a ride to the parking lot. I later realized I'd forgotten my slippers and had to trouble him to go back for them, which I felt really bad about.

LLalita VExcellent location of the hotel! First coastline. View from the balcony directly to the sea. On the balcony it is very convenient to have tea/coffee, eat fruit and make salads, in short - it is a kind of living room in the open air with a view of the sea, palm trees and sand. You leave the hotel, cross the road and you are on the beach. This is captivating) Please note that the reception in this house is on the 4th (fourth) floor, not on the 1st. For us this was new. By the way, only Chinese live in the hotel, we were the only Russians. And we really liked it. No one bothered anyone with conversations and other alleged socialization. But we were able to immerse ourselves as much as possible in the life and leisure of the Chinese. This was also captivating. The house itself is not new and the interior inside is not very modern, but everything works, everything is clean. The room was small, although the website says 25 sq.m. - this is not true)) But the bed is really big, because The Chinese consider a double bed to be 1.5 m wide - for us, this is too small. On the floor there is a kitchen, a large refrigerator with a freezer, a gas stove, a sink, and some dishes. We only used the refrigerator. Every day we bought fruits, vegetables, yogurts, ham, and other goodies. It was very convenient. In the hall on the floor there is also a huge mirror (full-length) on the wall.
Next to the hotel there is a chain grocery store, which has everything for any request. A few blocks away there is another grocery store of the same chain, but it is twice as big! Deep in the block, on each street there are many different cafes. We found one cafe with a menu in Russian and very friendly owners. Then every day we went only to this cafe, because if the owners tried with the translation, it means that we will be their clients. We tried almost everything from the Chinese menu. An interesting experience. Overall, the location of the hotel is ideal - I recommend it. You can close your eyes to the size of the room))

GGuest UserOn check-in, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, though I barely spoke Chinese. Room is very spacious and true to photos. There are no traditional television, but they have a projector above the bed..though I could not watch as most of the channels were in Chinese but its okay since I mostly spend time going out. The keycard tech was advanced, switches for lights all working well. Bathtub was clean, they will provide with disposable bathtub cover to use and all disposable amenities could be requested for free as well as housekeeping services.
Toilet had a seat warmer and disposable toilet covers are provided too.
Towels provided are also disposable, but can request extra from housekeeping :) Shampoo, Conditioner and Body soap smell great!
They have self-service laundry at the top floor, detergent and softener provided which was convenient and smells nice . For the hot season in Sanya, the AC was cold and can feel the cooling air fill up the spacious room in a few minutes, so it is enjoyable after a long day out!
Location was very ideal and loved it! At first I had walked past it as it looked quite unassuming and the entrance was in between shops.
Minor cons:
The top of the bathroom tile was slightly dislodged
2nd day one of the bathrobe had a small dead fly on the pocket
Took a while to figure out the bathtub switches and directions
I suggest the hotel to consider checking the cleanliness of the linen and bathrobe. A welcome letter can be placed in the room for guests to refer to, but the use of WeChat application was really useful. I would definitely come back here again when I have the opportunity.
