This hostel's location is super convenient; it's right by the exit of Xiaoshizi subway station. Downstairs, there's a bustling shopping area, and it's incredibly easy to get to popular spots like Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Shibati—they're all within walking distance. The owner is incredibly nice, helpful, and very patient. During my trip to Chongqing, I genuinely felt the warmth, hospitality, sincerity, and kindness of the local people everywhere I went. Chongqing truly is a city with warmth, and staying at Yijia Youth Hostel was definitely the right choice. I'll surely be back! I hope to work in Chongqing after graduating from university and revisit Yijia Youth Hostel to retrace my steps from that time!

CheckIn was on the 31th floor. I plan to arrive in the night, but the property inform me, that this night the elevator 🛗 is out of order, so I had to cancel for the first night to check in the next day. The next day everything was fine and I had a warm welcome with a nice room and good view.

The room was clean and tidy, and the owner was very welcoming and enthusiastic. The location is excellent, right next to the subway entrance, and it only takes a few minutes to get to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei.

The room was great, affordable and comfortable. The owner upgraded our room type, and the service was excellent. Around noon, the cleaning lady would come to do a light tidy-up; she was very kind. I highly recommend this place for friends visiting Chongqing.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, offering excellent service and great value for money. Its city-center location is incredibly convenient, being very close to tourist attractions. With multiple metro lines and bus stops just a short walk away, getting around is exceptionally easy.

We booked for three people; two of our rooms came with balconies. Each room was equipped with working air conditioning. There's a washing machine available with a quick wash cycle. Trash cans and plastic liners were provided. Please note that bathroom facilities are shared (no private bathrooms).

This smart hotel with river views is incredibly thoughtful, and the experience was just fantastic! My stay this time was a delightful surprise! The room I originally booked didn't have a great view, and I just mentioned it to the hotel owner. To my amazement, they immediately upgraded me to a river-view room. The view was so expansive, I could overlook the entire river – sparkling in the daylight and illuminated by thousands of lights at night. Every photo I took looked amazing! The smart devices in the room were also a huge plus. The whole room was smart-controlled; lights and curtains operated with a single touch, making the stay super convenient. I especially want to commend the high-tech toilet – full-featured and hygienic, showing meticulous care in every detail. What touched me the most was when I unexpectedly needed to send a package. I was worried about finding a courier service, but the hotel front desk didn't hesitate to help me with it, handling everything attentively and efficiently. The value for money is outstanding, and the service is simply impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town! I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The bedding was comfortable and clean, and the owner was incredibly hospitable. They promptly helped me with directions when I was unsure. The view from outside the guesthouse is fantastic, offering a panoramic city view and a beautiful river view. The guesthouse's location is excellent; it's just a short walk to the famous Jiefangbei, Kuixinglou, and Hongyadong. The owner even bid us a warm farewell at check-out! 🥰 I'll definitely book this place again next time I visit Chongqing.

The decor, facilities, and style are excellent, though the ventilation could be better. The common areas have great facilities, and there are even cats you can pet. Located on the third floor, there are noodle shops, breakfast spots, and Maocai restaurants right downstairs. Many international travelers also stay here. Oh, and they also have a communal kitchen, which I found to be a really nice touch.

Overall, the hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay with good service. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. It boasts a great location, often close to transport links and key areas, making it a highly recommended choice for both leisure and business travellers.
