It is a capsule hotel, so it is less private than a regular hotel, but more so than a hostel. You have a partition, so other guests can't easily see you when sleeping. Now, this is on the 14th floor, and the view is pretty good from the lounge. It's pretty easy to book, and has a decent bed, charger and tv. I didn't see AC controls in the pod, but it cooled down at night. Also, bring earmuffs and sleeping aides if you are easily bothered by other people making loud noises when you sleep.

Location: in Waikiki, fine for main tourist area, short walk to beach
Room: decent size, has microwave, fridge, etc,. but poor hot water in shower, especially at night. maybe lots of people using, but couldn’t get even 5 seconds of hot water for 5-10 min on multiple nights
Noise: not too much street noise, soundproofing between rooms okay, however I believe because of the doors that are used for connecting rooms, could very clearly hear neighbours talk at times
Service: pretty friendly staff when needed help, albeit a bit slow
Amenities: smaller but nice pool, mandatory resort fee covers things like umbrella and beach chair rental, but the place to get them is a 10-15 walk away. Kind of far away. Wifi fine.
Overall, not bad. Obviously can get pricey during peak times.

A relação preço-desempenho não era boa. Muito caro para o que oferecia.
O fato de eu ter sido colocado em um andar onde os demais quartos eram ocupados por adolescentes não me ajuda a acreditar que o hotel saiba administrar a compatibilidade de seus hóspedes.
Eles também não fizeram nada quando pedi à recepção para chamar a atenção dos meninos para que não gritassem ou batessem as portas à meia-noite.
Faltam detalhes muito básicos como roupão e chinelos.
A piscina é ridiculamente pequena para um hotel com tantos quartos.
Mas o pior é que eles são obrigados a reter o valor que decidirem caso você cause algum dano ao quarto. É um verdadeiro insulto para mim que eles achem que eu posso causar danos e depois vão embora sem pagar por isso.
Não causei nenhum problema no quarto, mas eles ainda não devolveram o dinheiro retido e tiveram muitas horas para fazer a revisão.

Reservar na recepção foi uma experiência amigável e muito fácil. O quarto era bom, mas tinha mais vista de perto dos arbustos do que vista da cidade.
A comida que eu comia era boa, no entanto, o bar costumava estar muito ocupado, com apenas uma pessoa preparando a comida e servindo bebidas. Tentei ser atendido algumas vezes, mas tive que sair e voltei um pouco mais tarde para atendimento.
A localização era muito boa para serviços de ônibus e conveniente para caminhar até as praias locais de Waikiki e ao longo da Avenida Kalakaua.

Great location breakfast was ok passable.
The place is a little dated.
The costs in waikkiki are through the roof crazy.
Not a fan of hawaii.
Gold coast Aus is way better.

Check in time was 3pm however my flight arrived mid morning & hotel kindly let me check in immediately upon arrival around 11am
Room was very comfortable but no shower cap or other amenities offered
Location is slightly out of the centre with a 5 block walk which was tiring however staff were lovely except the travel desk staff member who was very rude & chomping on an orange whilst talking to you & not helpful

Aston Circle Wakiki Hotel offers excellent value right across the street from Wakiki beach! Rooms are small but clean and tidy. Wonderful ocean front views and a convenient location close to stores and restaurants make staying at Aston Circle Wakiki Hotel a perfect choice.

Muito central e os funcionários são muito atenciosos, o único incômodo foi que tive que esperar até as 14h30 depois de chegar às 5h50 e estava muito cansado depois de viajar da Austrália. O horário de check-in era às 15h, então agradeço o check-in meia hora mais cedo, da próxima vez adicionarei um dia extra. A equipe também foi muito educada, desde a recepção até a limpeza, um lugar muito agradável para ficar em Ohia Waikiki Beach.

About an hour by the city bus to the hostel from the airport. Easy to walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

MManaSuisseExcept for the location near the airport I wouldn't recommend this hôtel. It's dirty and noisy. And when the breakfast is included in the price of room, you get coupon for the restaurant. The choice of food for breakfast is very small. And it's either coffee (a very very bad one) or water (a very very small bottle). And then you are allowed to eat in the restaurant and you have to take away and eat in your room as there is no other places to eat. This breakfast is a joke :(

GGuest UserI would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they’re a very deep sleeper. The road noise is impossible to sleep with. I’ll be complaining soon and seeking a part refund. Even with earplugs I couldn’t sleep enough. (There was also no bottled water. Even in countries with drinking tap water, hotel rooms get theirs from tanks so it’s not recommended.)

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is better than expected; You can tell that they went through a massive renovation in order to give a chill vibes based stay (on the outside). Inside of the room, it’s definitely an old hotel… I liked the furniture, but the windows were too open for my liking (you get the feeling that anyone can look into your room); Not as much of an issue since we used the curtains! The bath towels were covered in hair (ranging from long strands to tiny ***** pieces) which I found to be disgusting. The staff were more than willing to switch out the towels (there was still hair on them but a little dusting off mainly did the job). There was tiny ***** hair pieces in the bathtub as well, but I washed them down the drain so no biggie. The main issue that I had with this stay was that you could hear everything that was going on in rooms next door or outside. We heard loud screaming and fighting into the early ams, and it took a while for them to stop. This is not the hotel’s fault, but if you do stay here, keep in mind that the rooms aren’t very spacious, you can hear everything, and there might be hair in your towels. Overall, I really loved staying here and found it to be quite charming. The view in front of the hotel is INSANE. Though I listed negative traits about this hotel, I feel that it’s important to give some transparency to readers of this review. Mostly everyone goes into a hotel thinking that it’s 1000% clean and perfect. However, for me, the negative reviews are what I look for so that I know what to expect. You will definitely love the vibes and views this hotel has to offer, as well as the friendliness of the staff who worlds here.

I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems.
It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water.

AAnonymous UserI was assigned to the adjacent building this time. I forgot to mention that the balconies of this hotel are too close to the neighboring rooms; you could practically step over. So, I always locked the patio doors when I left and when I slept. I only found out the next day that there was yoga 🧘♀️, which I really wanted to try! But I didn't bring any workout clothes, and the pool hours are from 8 AM to sunset. However, my itinerary was packed every day, so I didn't have time to experience any of it. Also, I have no idea what the breakfast is like, as I couldn't find any reviews mentioning it.

GGuest UserLocation is great and the property is extremely clean and quiet. Our room was very outdated ( early 80's for furniture, carpet, bathroom) but clean and everything worked. It was spacious but bare minimum in kitchen for supplies, the coffee pot is super tiny. My only complaint is you can't extend your stay for late check out or additional day, that really impacts people on hikes and etc. We had to pack our stuff out (530am) and couldn't do late check out to come back to pack and shower. The young desk clerks stated policy for late check out was call morning of after 9am. That's ridiculous because most tourist are traveling across island exploring early. We asked at 815pm night before and staff couldn't give us late check out for next day, that's a deal breaker for us coming back to this property and was absolutely not willing to check or call management, for this reason I would avoid property if you have early tours or adventures. No one wants to pack out 5am without opportunity for late check out.

DDanielWe were a bit disappointed initially with the cleanliness as there was a stain on the bed sheet upon entering the room. Thankfully, housekeeping changed it within the hour. The place is located in a central location, close to the beachfront at Waikiki, with a partnership with beachfront stores for beach equipment, as well as GoPros, sunscreen, lotion etc. that can be borrowed, included in the resort rate.
However, the age of the hotel is really starting to show, it is in need of not just a touch up but an overhaul where possible. To be fair, the price, especially that paid for during this period, was a fair representation especially compared to neighbouring downtown hotels, given you do receive much more space and a kitchenette with microwave in the case of the 1 bedroom suite. However, I would say that I would have enjoyed my stay far more if at least some work was put in to modernise the space. In particular, my bathtub had peeling paint, and the colours of the room need some work.

GGuest UserThere was no bottled water in the room, but I asked a staff member in the hallway for one. Water refills were available on the first and third floors (where the lobby and pool are), and ice was conveniently available on each floor.
I booked the breakfast option, which included choosing one of three daily menu items. Fruit, bread, and drinks were served buffet-style, but I felt like the selection could have been a bit larger. I stayed for two nights, Friday through Sunday, and on the first Saturday morning, I arrived after opening time, so I ended up waiting in line and sharing a table.
On Sunday morning, I arrived before opening time, but they were already open. I think they probably opened early on Saturdays as well. So I recommend going early.
There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel, so I'm glad I didn't book breakfast included.
The building was apparently renovated about three years ago, but it's old, and the door would have closed unless I pushed it from the inside. lol. But thanks to that, it was relatively affordable for Waikiki, so I was able to book an ocean view room! Although it is located on the outskirts of Waikiki, there is a Pink Line bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is convenient, and there is a breakwater right across the road to the beach, so you can swim in the shallow water safely. I recommend it as a beach location.

The room was spacious, but unfortunately the view from the balcony was of the neighboring building and there was no elevator.
Check-in took quite a long time and the bartender was also quite grumpy.
The rest of the staff was very friendly.
All in all, we would come again.

GGuest UserThe room quality is on par with a budget hotel. Thankfully, there's a microwave, which saved us a lot of money by allowing us to heat up food we bought. Parking is valet-only and is charged directly to the room at $58 a day! Across the street, there's a food court in the mall that offers more affordable meal options. The hotel is surrounded by one-way streets, making it quite a challenge to find the parking entrance.
