Very pleasantly surprised, because the hotel did not upload the picture due to the late order. There are not many choices to decide. I said please give me a quiet sun room. The staff's arrangement is too satisfactory. You can see Lake Baikal from the window. I lay down directly for a day without going out.

The room was relatively clean, but small. It was easy to find by taxi, and there's a delicious Russian restaurant next door (Figure 2). It's close to attractions and the city center, and the neighborhood is quiet. It's best to ask for a ground-floor room when checking in, as there will be a lot of pedestrian traffic. The hotel can provide proof of residency.

The location is good, close to the Epiphany Cathedral and Lake Angara, both within walking distance. There's a Chinese restaurant and a supermarket downstairs. The room was tiny, barely enough space to turn around. Breakfast was genuinely awful. A nice touch was the water dispenser in the hallway. The Wi-Fi in the room was so bad it couldn't even load WeChat. Front desk service was pretty mediocre. I asked to store two pieces of luggage. He said the first one was free and the second would be charged. I asked if that was per person or per room, and he just repeated, ”The first one is free, the second one is charged.” I explained that there were two of us, and asked if the rule was per person or per room. He repeated himself again, so I gave up trying to reason and just paid – 100 rubles per bag, which was okay. Then I asked what to do next, and he just said, ”Go over there.” I asked if I should find someone or just leave the bags there. He said to find security. There were two Russian guys chatting in the distance, and I asked, ”Which one?” He just said, ”One of them.” I'm not sure if it was a language barrier or what, but it seems Russians aren't big on polite phrases anyway; I got used to it after a few days.

The location is excellent, with a direct shuttle from the airport. The environment is clean, with a kitchen and hot water. The only problem is there's no front desk staff; it's all self-service, which might be difficult for those who don't speak Russian. Yesterday afternoon, I arrived but couldn't get in. The phone number left at the door didn't work, and no one answered the doorbell. It was freezing cold, and I asked two strangers, but neither of them understood English. A third person finally helped me call the hotel and explain that I needed a password to open the door. Even connecting to the Wi-Fi was extremely difficult; I couldn't understand a word of Russian. Later that evening, a front desk staff member came to register my information. He spoke English and finally got the Wi-Fi working. After that, he left. When I checked out at 10 am the next day, no one was there.

We stayed in a room with two single beds, and the room and bathroom were very small! Our friends all booked rooms with two single beds, but their rooms and bathrooms were larger than ours – it seems to depend on luck when rooms are assigned! Looking at the hotel's room assignment map, rooms 1 and 2 are the larger rooms. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but there was a hot and cold water dispenser at the front desk and on each floor. The dispensers always had cold water, but the one on my floor didn't have hot water! Regarding the hotel's free Wi-Fi, the first method is to rely on the front desk staff to help you connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, but this only works on the front desk floor! The second method also relies on the front desk staff, but you need a local Russian mobile phone number to receive the hotel Wi-Fi authentication SMS, which allows you to use the hotel Wi-Fi in your room! There's no elevator, and we stayed on the third and fourth floors, making it difficult to move our luggage! There was an electric kettle in the room, a wall-mounted radiator, and another electric heater that you could plug in yourself. The bathroom didn't have heating or a heated towel rack, but the hot water and water pressure were sufficient. Breakfast is a buffet and quite good, with hot water, coffee, and tea also provided. The hotel is located near the Central Market, about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel reception is staffed 24 hours a day; they are helpful and can assist with booking taxis via an app. Even if there is a language barrier, they can use the app for translation.

All aspects are very general. But the price is here. Basically no one went in June. In fact, the public bathroom shower was okay, and I basically didn't wait. Don't live during the peak tourist season.

Отличное расположение, но удивил малый корпус, который называют: «Маячок») внутри которого тесноватая лестница с запахами сан.узла. В ванной не было шторки, но был знак: «воду на пол не лить» - это больше для туристов из дружественного Китая. Завтрак 🍳 был очень хорош - шведский стол с шампанским, и вкусным набором блюд! 👍

I really like this hotel; the space everywhere is spacious, clean, simple, and elegant. My room had a row of large windows facing the Angara River right in front, and I could even open them since there were screens, which was fantastic. The breakfast ingredients were very fresh. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy at night with people playing instruments and singing by the river, but it should be much better with the windows closed, and even more so on rainy nights. If you're sensitive to noise, you could choose a room on the other side.

I had a great time traveling with friends. The dates we booked were perfect, and everyone was so friendly. I'll definitely stay there again next time; the environment is wonderful. So happy!

Гост Прекрасный отель с уникальной атмосферой. Главный плюс — расположение всего в 8 минутах езды от аэропорта. При этом в номерах совершенная тишина, звуки дороги или соседей вообще не беспокоят. Отдельно хочется отметить безупречный ремонт в ирландском стиле — благородное дерево, глубокие тона и продуманные детали настраивают на полный релакс. Отличное место для качественного отдыха!
