we chose this place because it's cheaper than staying at wanaka and it's en route to franz joseph. very small town but the rooms are adequate and has a small supermarket within walking distance for your needs but be aware that it closes at 8pm. there is also a restaurant within walking distance for your dinner. the rooms are not massive but adequate for an overnight stay.

best location, very friendly staff, very clean room and facilities, and with complimentary breakfast, the best value in town.

Este é o melhor lugar para descanso em que já me hospedei. Tem estacionamento gratuito e recepção 24 horas, então você pode deixar seu carro lá com segurança. Também fica a uma curta caminhada do centro da cidade, o que economiza bastante com estacionamento. Quando me hospedei lá, não havia muita gente, então parecia que eu tinha o lugar só para mim. Os banheiros, a cozinha e as áreas comuns eram silenciosos e limpos, sem cheiros desagradáveis, e alguém vinha regularmente para arrumar. O quarto também era muito confortável. Altamente recomendado!

Hotel is excellent… I like the outdoor table to use to wine and enjoying the day…. Overall kitchen is available for cooking and nice place to stay

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as good as the first. The chalet was different from my previous stay, but the quality remained excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The experience was just as enjoyable, proving that this place is consistently reliable. Will definitely return again!

Polite staff and central location in Queenstown ( 5 minutes walk to city center). Amenities include free WiFi, laundry, a garden, hot tub, and bike access. Rooms were cozy but basic. The communal kitchen space was organized and easy to use. The sauna is the reason I will book again when in Queenstown. 🥰

It was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even showed us how to use the electric stove. The bathroom and kitchen were both spotless.

The room was very clean, and the shared kitchen area was decent. However, the laundry room was really dirty! It felt like it hadn't been maintained in ages, and you needed to pay with Apple Pay. The toilets weren't super clean either, but for a campsite, it was actually pretty good. Definitely bring slippers! The lake nearby is even better than Lake Wanaka, and there were lots of campervans, so it had a lively atmosphere.
