Já me hospedei em muitos hotéis cinco estrelas, mas minha experiência no Pan Pacific Suzhou Wu Palace Hotel merece uma avaliação especial.
Primeiramente, o próprio hotel é como um jardim clássico, com pavilhões, terraços, pontes e água corrente — cada passo revela uma nova paisagem, em perfeita harmonia com o charme ancestral de Suzhou. Olhando do lobby, a combinação de grandiosidade e elegância me fez sentir imediatamente que havia escolhido o lugar certo.
Mas o que mais quero elogiar desta vez é a cordialidade das pessoas — o atendimento da Elena na recepção.
O check-in foi à noite e eu estava bastante cansado. O sorriso da Elena era genuíno, sem qualquer artificialidade. Depois de concluir o check-in de forma rápida e eficiente, ela percebeu nosso cansaço e, proativamente e com atenção aos detalhes, nos apresentou as instalações especiais do hotel, os horários do café da manhã e os melhores lugares para tirar fotos no jardim. Ainda mais atenciosa, com base nas informações do nosso check-in, ela nos lembrou que o tempo estaria mais frio no dia seguinte e que deveríamos levar um agasalho extra para sair. Essa atenção aos detalhes me fez sentir não apenas hospedado em um hotel, mas sendo recebido calorosamente por um amigo.

Minha estadia no Jinling Hotel superou em muito as minhas expectativas e merece uma avaliação perfeita! A limpeza do hotel era realmente de tirar o fôlego. Da cama ao banheiro, tudo estava impecável, até os cantos estavam impecavelmente arrumados. O ar estava inodoro, com apenas uma sensação leve e fresca, tornando minha estadia incrivelmente reconfortante. A conveniência também foi excelente, com todas as comodidades possíveis no quarto, desde uma chaleira a tomadas, até detalhes atenciosos como post-its e chinelos. Não precisei me preocupar com nada e me senti completamente em casa.
O que mais me impressionou foi o serviço — eles foram realmente receptivos. Especialmente o CC, a linha direta VIP, que sempre respondeu prontamente a qualquer solicitação ou consulta de quarto, com uma atitude calorosa e profissional.
Do check-in ao check-out, fui meticulosamente atendido. Com sua limpeza, conforto e conveniência, aliados a um serviço impecável, o Jinling Hotel é definitivamente minha melhor escolha para quem visita Nanquim e agora está na minha lista de ”lugares para ficar”!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is located right in the city center, making it very convenient to get around. There is a shopping mall directly connected to the hotel, so finding food and dining options was very easy.
The hotel is very family-friendly. We stayed on the top floor, and the view was absolutely amazing — we could see both the sea and the mountains. Our child loved it so much. However, for guests who are afraid of heights like my husband, this might not be the best choice, as it is probably the tallest building in the city.
Although the hotel looks like it has been open for many years from the outside, the interior still feels modern, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are very convenient. Breakfast offered a good variety of international options.
Overall, we had a great experience and were very impressed with our stay.

O Crowne Plaza Zhongyin é um dos hotéis com a melhor paisagem, serviço, comida e instalações que já me hospedei. A experiência de check-in é bastante satisfatória e me sinto como se estivesse em casa. Sou especialmente grato a Amy' , Elaine, Layla e Alisa pela comunicação e recepção. Muito capazes e gentis, meus pais e familiares me elogiaram. Acontece que era meu aniversário no dia em que fiz o check-in. Eles decoraram cuidadosamente o quarto e prepararam um delicioso chá da tarde e bolo de aniversário 🎂. Eles também fizeram upgrade para um quarto com vista para o lago. Muito obrigado! Yesterday was my 22nd birthday, and my boyfriend made it unforgettable by booking a room at the Shangri-La to celebrate. He even sent a special request to the hotel asking if they could help make me feel extra welcome.
On the morning of my birthday, he received a call from the Director of Guest Relations, Angel, who told him they had prepared a gift and asked for my name to personalize the card.
The service was incredible from start to finish. We had originally booked a king room, but they kindly upgraded us to a beautiful lake-view room overlooking the Qinhuai River. When we arrived, I was greeted with a lovely cake, a heartfelt card, and a thoughtful gift. I felt truly welcomed and cherished.
The attentive service began right at the entrance, where Cynthia Zheng from the valet team welcomed us with warmth and energy. His lively and kind presence set the tone for our entire stay. And when we departed, he was just as helpful and spirited as a wonderful person who added to the experience.
Overall, my birthday felt absolutely magical, thanks to the outstanding Guest Relations team at Shangri-La. Thank you for helping create such a special memory.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the location truly couldn’t be better. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower facilities, fully meeting the high standards expected from an IHG hotel. The terrace offers a stunning panoramic view overlooking the entire city and the subway station is just a few steps away, making transportation extremely convenient.
Special thanks to 小谢 for her outstanding assistance throughout our stay, as well as to the gentleman who kindly guided us during breakfast in the executive lounge.

It offers excellent value for money, seamlessly blending traditional Suzhou architecture and landscapes – every corner is a picturesque view. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly helpful and even upgraded my room to a suite for free. The room's facilities and decor were impeccable, and even the corridor leading to the room offered beautiful scenery. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was remarkable, and the room's cleanliness was top-notch. I even tried some local noodles at Rui Mian, which were quite tasty. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Suzhou.

“Hidden away in this bustling city is a tranquil sanctuary. The moment I slid open the wooden door, it felt as if I had been transported to an ancient machiya in Kyoto. The room was filled with a subtle scent of tatami, and the natural wood furniture with minimalist lines exuded a 'wabi-sabi' aesthetic throughout. My favorite time was in the evening, sitting at the low table by the window, brewing a pot of tea, and gazing at the karesansui garden outside. All the inner turmoil gradually faded away. There was no excessive disturbance here, just the perfect amount of space and serenity—a truly healing journey that allowed my mind and body to return to nature.”

GGuest UserThe breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and quality that I really enjoyed. However, it might have been due to a holiday, but there was no one to seat us in the breakfast area. We basically had to find and grab tables ourselves, which made for a rather chaotic experience.
The high-floor city view was indeed fantastic, offering a panoramic outlook. Plus, being right above a shopping mall made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. I had specifically requested a king-size bed when booking to make it easier with my child, and the hotel arranged it as requested, which was a thoughtful touch.
However, staying with a child presented a few inconveniences: it was difficult for one person to pick up takeout with a child, as the hotel doesn't offer room delivery for external food. I had to go down twice by elevator to retrieve it myself, which was quite a hassle. The elevators were also rather slow, and during peak hours, we waited for a long time. As for amenities, only children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided; no children's toiletries, which was inconvenient.
On a positive note, Kevin Chen from the concierge team deserves praise. His service attitude was excellent, and he was very proactive in helping with any requests, which made me feel very comfortable.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious.
Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery.
Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy.
Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad.
Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

YYidashililinfuThe location is fantastic! You can see it right from Exit 4A of Gulou Metro Station. It's only two metro stops to Xinjiekou.
As for the facilities, the hotel isn't newly renovated, but the rooms are spacious and still offer standard 5-star amenities. I forgot to take photos, but you can pretty much go by the official website. The high-floor views are excellent. I was short on time, so I didn't get to experience the gym or pool.
Cleanliness was great; it was very well-maintained.
Now, for the service, this is where I really want to highlight something. A day before arrival, the butler contacted me to confirm my check-in time and added me on WeChat. They provided information about the hotel, nearby dining options, and tourist attractions. On the day of arrival, the room was already prepared, and complimentary fruit was provided. The butler also followed up on my stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. They always responded to my requests promptly. They even helped me print my child's homework and assisted with sending a package.
When you're traveling, this kind of service truly makes you feel so welcome and cared for. A special thanks to the butler, Luanne 👍👍👍! I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Nanjing.

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

Our stay here exceeded expectations in every way. The hotel itself is very elegant, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The courtyard area is absolutely wonderful — very clean, relaxing, with a beautiful pond full of colorful fish that creates a special atmosphere both during the day and evening.
The rooms are spacious, fresh, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything feels carefully maintained and much more premium than the price we paid. Honestly, we felt we received far more value than expected.
What made this experience truly exceptional was the employee Charles. He was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely caring during our whole stay. He always helped us with recommendations about the best places to visit, restaurant guidance, arranging taxis, taking care of our luggage, and even helped create a wonderful fish-feeding experience for us. Small details like this made our trip feel special and memorable.
You can clearly feel real hospitality here, not just hotel service.
We stayed as a couple and would happily return again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Suzhou who wants an authentic, elegant, and relaxing experience.

GGuest UserThis is my second time visiting Nanjing for a hot spring experience, and I'm very satisfied with Banyan Tree this time. I was a bit anxious before coming, but it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located within the Garden Expo Park. The day before arrival, the hotel added me to a chat group. My friend arrived earlier and helped me check in. We were traveling with a child, and the room had kid-sized slippers, towels, bathrobes, and toiletries. The hotel breakfast was very rich and delicious. During the day, we took our child to explore That Natural, Pioneer Bookstore, and the Cliffside Cafe. In the evening, we went to the Vietnamese restaurant for pho. Since the park's shuttle bus had stopped running, the hotel specially arranged a car for us, which was excellent. My child forgot to print some homework and only remembered at night. I sent it to the butler in the chat group, and they helped print it and delivered it to us that night. The hotel's hot spring was also very quiet with few people, almost like having the place to ourselves. The hot spring in our room was also disinfected and filled with fresh water for each use, which was fantastic. I've already recommended it to my friends!
