"First off, the entrance is on the side of the building and not clearly marked, it is also the entrance to a pool hall. From there you must take the elevator to floor 5 for check in. Once we found the correct entrance the staff are very friendly and helpful! They even offered free coffee and it is very good quality.
Overall the hotel is very good, the common areas and rooms are very clean, however our room had a large amount of black mold on the walls.
Our room also had a mini fridge, but it was placed in a cabinet and could not be plugged in, so it was useless.
The hotel did provide free water and drinks, which is very helpful. There is also a large indoor / outdoor area with seating and tables on the 5th floor. It looks nice and is comfortable.
On a Friday night, we could here some local KTV while we were going to sleep, and some late night returning guests may be loud, as you can easily hear the bathroom / shower noises from rooms next door.
The location is very convenient to visit the Confucius Temple streets and there is also a lot of good food options nearby. There is even a Duck Soup and dumpling restaurant that offers a promo for hotel guests, the restaurant is in the same building and easy to access."
