Location of the hotel is great. I came from Hiroshima.
The journey is very long.
I stayed 3 nights here.
Breakfast was kinda okay, they have alot of spread. I paid for 1 x breakfast at 3300 yen. Personally i feel the price can be lower.
Afew items to highlights were Tempura prawn, mentaiko, corn soup, soba and grilled beef.
They have welcome drink (tea/coffee/soft drinks) for certain hours. Topup 1000 yen you can get unlimited alcohol.
The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the station. And also they have 2 properties . Next to each other.
There’s 6 laudry machines. A sky pool, sauna and indoor bath (onsen).
I can see the hotel emphasis/uses alot of technology .
Your door card can be paid for many things (laundry and vending machine) including partner restaurants outside the hotels. Where you can charge the expenses to your room.
There’s a touch pad in the room, for you go control lighting, air conditioning , check hotel information and even control the TV. The only downside is the touchpad is very bright. It takes too long for it to go into idle mode.
The cast and mirroring was lagging for me.
As for the wifi, i find it weird that it only allows in my room. I had not as for the hotel wide wifi, not sure if there’s one.
The room wifi was okay.
The pool on the roof was great . You can see almost the whole beppu. Sadly I did not take photos of it. It was very chill . I would definitely stay here again just for the pool and onsen.
The room clothes hangers were kinda little. There’s only 4 of them.
The ice machine is at L2 inbetween the fitness center and the laundry. I would like to suggest to relocate it. As it is located directly next to the smoking room. And both times I am there to collect the ice with the cup provided, I almost out of breath from the cigarette.
The Washing machine had locking mechanism on it, so other guests would not take your clothes.
Select checkout was brilliant, they have 2 counters for it.
I ate a breakfast, did 2 laundry and one vending machine. It was calculated perfectly.
The staff at the reception were very helpful .
Overall the stay was good!
Will stay again if I am in Beppu.
Thank you .

The hotel itself is a bit older, and you can definitely feel its age in some areas of the property. That said, it still maintains a certain traditional charm. One thing to note is that the location isn’t the easiest to access on foot—you’ll really need a car to get around comfortably, especially if you plan to explore the surrounding area.
What truly stood out during my stay was the restaurant staff. They were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and warm throughout my visit. Their hospitality made the dining experience one of the highlights of the hotel. The meals were well-prepared and thoughtfully presented, adding a special touch to each day.
Overall, while the facilities could use a bit of updating and the location is best suited for travelers with a vehicle, the kindness and service of the restaurant staff made the stay worthwhile.
I recently stayed at Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono and it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
One of the first things you notice when entering the hotel is that you must remove your shoes before going inside. There are shoe lockers right in front of the lobby. Even the rollers of your luggage need to be clean — there is a special carpet area where you can roll your luggage to clean the wheels before entering. It’s a small detail, but it shows how carefully the hotel maintains the cleanliness of the space.
The entire hotel is covered with tatami flooring, which creates a very relaxing and traditional Japanese atmosphere. It’s quite an interesting concept for a modern hotel and makes the stay feel unique.
The location is excellent, only about 100 meters from Beppu Station, and there is also a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, making transportation very convenient.
The hotel is particularly famous for its onsen facilities located on the top floor. There are three indoor and outdoor public baths, as well as seven private baths available for guests who prefer more privacy or are not comfortable using public baths.
You can check the availability of the private baths through the TV in your room, but in my experience it is actually easier to go directly and queue there if you want to use them.
Another nice touch is the complimentary treats for guests. After enjoying the onsen at night, you can have free ice cream, and in the morning there is free Yakult available. Late at night, the hotel also serves free ramen as a supper snack, which is a great bonus.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if I visit Beppu in the future.
Hello, everyone!
We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was mixed — there are some nice touches, but also noticeable shortcomings.
**Room:**
The room was spacious but clearly outdated; furniture and interior look worn. The ventilation works, yet it still feels quite stuffy inside. It would be great if the hotel improved air-conditioning or installed mosquito screens: the sea view is beautiful, but opening the window isn’t an option because of too many insects.
**Facilities & Service:**
The only real extras are massage service and a shared onsen. There’s no gym, pool, or other activities — the hotel is designed for quiet relaxation. A shuttle service is available, which is convenient, but if you miss it, getting to the hotel on your own can be quite difficult. During this stay the hotel was quite busy, and it often took a long time to catch the elevator to our floor.
**Dining:**
Breakfast and dinner can be pre-booked; the food was tasty and varied. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with a decent drink selection, and in the evening the lobby lounge opens with alcoholic drinks and light snacks — a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
**Location:**
The property faces Beppu Bay, yet the seaside feeling is limited — there are few walking areas nearby, and due to insects it’s hard to enjoy the open air.
**Overall:**
A good option for a calm, onsen-style getaway with decent food and polite staff, but when the hotel is crowded, the lack of facilities and outdated rooms become more noticeable. With some modernization and better infrastructure, this could be an excellent resort.
The location is pretty good because it’s private. It’s suit for guest comes with the car. About 15 mins drive to downtown.
The room was big with private onsen, clean and simple.
The facility is only the public onsen, which is indoor with no view. The breakfast is quite basic, the taste could be more outstanding.
Had a very relaxing stay here. The place is super quiet and peaceful, and the staff were really nice and explained everything clearly.
We stayed for 2 nights with dinner included. The dinner set had good options, but you HAVE to try the cheesecake! It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had—so soft, rich, and moist. The portion was huge too!
The room was quite big and the hot spring was very comfy. Just a couple of small things: the view from the bath isn't much even with the door open, and the shower/tub area was way too dark. It felt like I was showering in the dark!
Overall a great experience, especially for the food and the service.
The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

Amazing
YYy3Fukuoka is hotter than ever this year. After interacting with locals, I realized that although it was my first time to visit Fukuoka, it was easier and easier to get around than I imagined. I knew very early on that I wanted to include the suburbs and Yufuin in my itinerary, and I wanted to stay there for one night. I was debating whether I should soak in hot springs in the summer and find a suitable accommodation for one person, so I found this B&B. It’s true that it’s not close to the station with your luggage, and it’s a bit hard in the summer. You can soak in the outdoor hot springs in the summer, and watch the stars, which are hard to capture on your phone. I went there once in the morning and once in the evening. After putting up the sign, it became a private soup. I like the sound of creaking templates, the exquisite breakfast boxes, and buying small things near the front desk. The boss couple are very hospitable, attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is delicious. I read the reviews and said I must order it, and I thought so too! Make sure to buy more snacks for dinner. Many shops on Yufuin Street close one after another at 5 pm local time. Plan your itinerary well. If you want to see more attractions, you can go to the nearby Beppu to see the hot springs together, or just chill in Yufuin. Very happy. When leaving, you can have your luggage delivered to the station. In this way, you can slowly walk to Jinlin Lake in your free time, and then eat slowly all the way back to the station hahahaha. Traveling is about experiencing❤
FFion201The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, so it's more convenient if you're driving. We booked breakfast and dinner, and the food was absolutely amazing; you definitely have to try it if you stay here. My favorite part was the private hot spring in the room. I'd come back again if I get the chance.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and came with a private onsen. Perched halfway up the mountain, the views were beautiful. If you don't have a car, you can book the shuttle, but be aware that the pick-up times are infrequent. The staff were friendly. Dinner was just okay, but since it was inconvenient to go back to the city, we ended up eating almost all our meals there as part of a half-board package.
