Fantastic hotel nestled @ the bustling city centre of Ssukino where the prominent Nikka OOH billiboard is. The hotel is situated right above Susukino train station 🚉 & within Cocono Shopping Mall for easy access & great convenience to travel to anywhere in Sapporo. Arrived @ the perfect timing to indulge in the reowned 🇯🇵 Sapporo snow & ice festival 2026 ⛄️❄️🧊 . The place come into life @ night with iconic ice sculptures, diverse entertainment & diverse F&B options. Best thing is it’s merely 250m away from the Tanukikoji Shopping Street with countless Sapporo Beauty Stores & Don Donki. The hotel is modern, stylish & contemporary, boasting clean & comfy room for good slumber dreams 🛌 . An incredible discovery was the buffet breakfast 🍳🍞 was definitely thr best ever which we have savoured in Sapporo, with ingeniously decorated F&B offerings to feast your senses. Stayed here for 3 nights and overall had a really positive experience. The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk to both the train station and MTR, which made getting around effortless. There are plenty of convenience stores right nearby. The hotel has a nice quiet vibe, which was perfect after busy days out exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was a standout, surprisingly big and spacious by Japanese standards. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was still plenty of floor space even after we opened two large suitcases (something that’s almost impossible in most other compact hotels in Japan). The only downside was the bedding. The duvet (?) was way too thick and heavy for my liking. It made the bed feel quite hot at night, and I ended up sweating a lot despite the AC. Otherwise, this place was near perfect. Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you’re okay with cranking the AC lower. Solid choice!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at La Vista Furano. Even though our room was on the 4th floor, the view was still amazing — we could see the ski slopes, and it even snowed in the morning, which made everything feel so magical. The hotel provides free parking, which is very convenient. One of the highlights was definitely the private onsen — each session is 30 minutes, and it was such a relaxing and special experience. Another lovely touch was the free ramen supper served between 10–11pm, which was perfect after a long day out. The room itself wasn’t very big, but it was well-designed. The shower, toilet, and sink areas were all separated, and everything was clean and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back again!

A recepção fica no segundo andar. O check-in e o check-out são feitos por máquinas de autoatendimento, com atendentes humanos para fornecer orientação. A bagagem pode ser armazenada se você retirá-la no mesmo dia, mas não pode ser armazenada se você buscá-lo no dia seguinte. A entrada para a fonte termal é trancada com uma senha em vez de um cartão, o que está na moda. A Torre de TV de Sapporo pode ser vista do lounge.

O check-in é fácil e descomplicado, feito por máquina. O quarto é enorme e limpo. Hotel com excelente localização, em frente à estação Sapporo. Há uma ligação subterrânea da estação Sapporo até o hotel, com muitas lojas na passarela subterrânea. Há também um ônibus que pode viajar diretamente do hotel para o aeroporto de New Chitose. Super conveniente se você tiver muitas malas e estiver com crianças pequenas. Não há necessidade de arrastar sua bagagem até a estação de Sapporo para apertar o trem com a multidão. Basta embarcar no ônibus e pagar na chegada ao aeroporto, sem complicações e com facilidade! O hotel permite que você guarde sua bagagem se estiver viajando por 1 a 2 dias para outros lugares.

We had a good overall stay at Daiichi Takimotokan, a large traditional ryokan-style hotel. While the property is a little dated, it is well maintained and kept clean. The hotel itself offers plenty to do, including restaurants, a souvenir shop, simple arcade games, karaoke, massage services, a public onsen, and even a small reading area with Japanese books. You can easily spend time exploring the building without needing to go out. The location is very convenient. It is just outside the main (short) shopping street and within walking distance to Jigokudani, making it easy to explore the area. Our stay included breakfast and dinner buffet. Dinner had a wide variety of options, including popular sashimi selections and steamed snow crabs, along with both Japanese and Western dishes. Breakfast was a simpler spread but still satisfying. We stayed in a Japanese-style room and found the futons comfortable to sleep on. As we visited during winter, the room had central heating only. At times, we cooled the room by slightly opening the window to let in some cold air. Yukata robes are provided in the room (or you can choose one that fits you at the lobby), and you can wear them around the hotel when heading to the onsen, restaurants, or arcade. The public onsen area is spacious and features many different pools with various functions, so you can take your time and enjoy the experience. Just remember to wash yourself thoroughly at the shower stations before entering the onsen pools. Unfortunately, we did not try the outdoor onsen despite it being open — we were a little intimidated by the winter cold! Overall, we would recommend this hotel, especially for first-timers who want to experience staying in a traditional ryokan. Tip: There are direct buses to and from the hotel from New Chitose Airport and Sapporo. The bus stop is only about 50 metres from the hotel entrance, which made walking in the snow much easier for us. However, the service runs only once a day, so be sure to check the schedule and plan your itinerary accordingly.

We can behold the most awe-inspiring & panoramic view of Lake Toya ⛰️ right from the comfort of our hotel rooms, New haven of happiness discovered on earth 🌈 Most grateful to Ms Harada San (Front Office) 🩷🩵whom went beyond the extra mile 🛼🛼 to create wonders & innovate lasting beautiful memories 📸 for our 🎂 & wedding celebrations 🥂🍾 with her magical touches. WOW, it’s truly unforgettable for a lifetime 😘 This is definitely the best place which warms our hearts 💕 in Hokkaido Sapporo Lake Toya 🇯🇵 & we desired to call “home sweet home” 🏡 during an icy cool winter ⛄️❄️ 🧊 . Most impressive oishi & extensive buffet spread with succulent fresh seafood 🦞🪼🦀🐙🐠 & Hokkaido waygu beef 🥩🍖 for pampering indulgence. There’s even an onsen hot spring spa on site but we shy shy to use. Highly recommended, excellent job well done ✅

My 3rd time staying at GRIDS Premium, within walkable distance from Otaru Station and, easy access to Otaru Canal, clean and cozy room with Onzen at top floors, for sure will come back again!

Excellent service makes you feel like home. Hotel facilities and ambiance warms your heart. Highly recommend to stay in this hotel. Hope I can revisit this hotel in near future.
