Inside Pingyao Ancient City
If you want to explore the ancient town of Pingyao, then this hotel is fantastic. It's 15mins away from the high speed railway. They pick up and drop out off outside the city. With the covid regulations in place, the hotel supported me through the process and helped me gain entry into the city. I was then collected and driven to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and the lady helped me to book tickets for the Pingyao theatre show at the same time. I received a free upgrade from a double room to a suite. All in all, a fantastic holiday, and a great experience.

It’s very unaccommodating. It’s different from the picture. The conditions are very poor. Maybe it can’t be compared with a hotel. I basically didn’t sleep all night and worked hard until dawn. I brought disposable supplies myself, otherwise I wouldn’t want to sit down.

Best place we stayed in during our trip in China!! The courtyard is magnificent and our room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were great. Always willing to help us in any way possible to make our stay in Pingyao even better. I would highly recommend if you're coming to Pingyao!

The room was very clean. The owner was very nice. After booking, he reminded us to bring down jackets. Although we forgot it in the end, we had to go back and spend most of the day. It was already late when we got to the mountain. The owner was very considerate and waited for us and provided us with tour guidance. There are many vegetarian restaurants within walking distance of the B&B. There is a parking lot at the door. It is also very close to the bus stop of the scenic area. It takes two stops to reach Shuxiang Temple. It is recommended.

Pick-up at the entrance of the ancient city: Cars cannot enter the ancient city, and there are drivers to pick up luggage, which is convenient and hassle-free. Free Jinshang Young Lady Clothing Experience: My daughter and I took a travel photo of Jinshang Young Lady in the store, and gave a family photo with my son and husband. I had a very happy stay. It is worry-free and hassle-free to live in the city with children. It was a very good experience

In the pedestrian street, it is very close to Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple. The store is on the third floor of a movie building. It is operated by an old couple. There are electric blankets and wall heating in the house. There is also a separate bathroom in the house. It is hot water that needs to go to the public bathroom. When I left the store in the morning, I was in a hurry. The uncle said that he could send the things to the front desk. The courier brother went to pick them up in the afternoon. The service in the store was very good, thank you!

Very friendly, kind staff. Room is clean and well decoratedn, location is great. My only criticism is I don't like that there is a big bottle of water which appears generous until you realize you have to pay for it, as well as a phone charger which you also need to pay to use. It's not that I mind paying, but by putting it in the room, it seems like an extra cash grab which takes away from the initial warm hospitality, especially since the room isn't cheap.

This is a gorgeous hotel that is centrally-located inside the ancient city with great service. It’s like living in a museum! The hotel is housed in a thoughtfully renovated ancient college with a beautiful courtyard for chatting, eating, and chilling. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet. I really enjoyed the traditional mat style bed. The hotel is a short walk away from the bustling Main Street. It was very convenient to walk to most attractions inside the walled City. The hotel owner also arranged free transport to take me to the high speed rail station. The service was wonderful. No complaints! If you’re staying here, I recommend checking out not just the ancient walled city but also the ancient temples in the area. I would stay here again without hesitation.

We really loved it! It is located right in the heart of the ancient city, but in a cozy backyard so it is quiet and easy to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and big. The shower was great with good pressure and hot temperature. Our stay included Breakfast which was very tasty and filling. The hosts were very forthcoming and friendly. We would definetly stay here again.
