I booked a Garden King Room at the Swissôtel for 2 nights. Our butler, Kitty, messaged me on WeChat the night before, arranging a high-speed rail pick-up service from Changchun to Changbaishan West Station. I mentioned it was my child's birthday on the check-in day, and Kitty thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake and arranged a room with a snow view, which was very considerate. The room itself was decent and had good space, though the shower pressure was a bit low, likely due to the hotel's age. Its main advantage is its proximity to the ski resort, and the villa area offers fantastic photo opportunities with great snowy scenery. Compared to the Wanda area, it's less crowded here, though commercial options and dining choices are more limited. As a beginner, I found the skiing experience excellent. The coach guided me through getting the ski card and renting all the equipment. Overall, the hotel's service was very good, and our butler Kitty was always responsive. On our last day, after boarding the bus to the airport, I realized I'd left my backpack in the lobby. I contacted Kitty, and she immediately drove to meet the bus at the next hotel stop. I'm truly grateful to her! Her service deserves high praise! My child had a very happy birthday too!

The overall room size is quite suitable, at least for families with children, allowing ample space for luggage. I'd suggest placing a freestanding coat rack in the living room of the suites, especially during winter. Many guests are returning from skiing or playing in the snow, often wearing thick, long down jackets. If these jackets, which might have a bit of snow on them, are hung inside the bedroom closet, they won't air out properly and will stay damp. The living room offers plenty of space for a coat rack, which would be much more convenient. **Cleanliness:** To be honest, the cleanliness was just average. Upon entering, I noticed hair on the light-colored sofa in the living room, which was quite visible. Since we were traveling as a family, the small bathroom to the left of the entrance was barely used. It wasn't until the second evening that I discovered a used, half-worn false eyelash from the previous guest still stuck to the sink. As this bathroom was rarely used, I didn't bother calling housekeeping; I simply disposed of it myself. **Service:** When we needed anything replenished in the room, housekeeping was quite prompt, and their service attitude was excellent. On the day we checked out, it had snowed the night before, making the roads slippery. For safety reasons, the hotel shuttle couldn't pull up directly to the lobby entrance. A staff member from the lobby, dressed in rather thin clothing, still led everyone out towards the shuttle bus. I was moving slowly with my child and luggage, and this male staff member noticed, quickly came over to help us with our suitcases, and told me to take my child onto the bus first while he loaded the luggage. I'm very grateful for his help. There's a shuttle bus service between all the hotels in the resort and the ski slopes, running every ten minutes or so. A staff member comes into the lobby to announce each shuttle, which is very convenient. We stayed in Block B, and while it wasn't a long walk, given the low temperatures, taking the shuttle was definitely more comfortable.

The hotel is very close to the ski resort, within walking distance or a short shuttle ride. The shuttle service is super convenient, departing as soon as you arrive and getting you to the slopes in just 2 minutes. The hotel itself is warm, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere – you can comfortably wear a T-shirt indoors. All the staff are enthusiastic and attentive. The restaurant offers a fantastic late-night snack selection every evening, with beef noodles, beef vermicelli, orange juice, milk, and wontons – it's incredibly rich! The room layout is well-designed, and they even provided complimentary beverages. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

The price is cheap. Affordable. The place is small, and some people say showering can soak the toilet paper. I solved that problem with a plastic bag. The internet was sometimes slow, as it's a small hotel, so we couldn't take advantage of shared data. Each floor has its own WiFi, so if other people are using it, your speed will fluctuate, sometimes even slow, and sometimes even slow. I spent ages updating my computer software, but it still timed out.

What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

Our daughter came to watch the Ola Music Festival in the Olympic Sports Park, and we accompanied her. When choosing a hotel, we chose this ”home away from home” where we had stayed before without hesitation. Although it is a 40-minute drive from the Olympic Sports Center in the north, we still feel that choosing an accommodation that everyone is comfortable with is the most important requirement for the trip. The experience of staying this time was exactly the same as the last time. Room 1916 has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. It is spacious and comfortable, with good sound insulation, quiet and cozy. The room is spotlessly clean and has all the kitchen utensils and cooking utensils.

Staying at the guesthouse inside the Folk Park was absolutely fantastic! It had a charming Korean ethnic style with white walls and black tiles. The facilities were new and spotlessly clean, and the housekeeper thoughtfully provided us with a guide. In the mornings, we had the quiet park all to ourselves. There are plenty of options for travel photography within the Folk Park, with traditional costumes available for rent starting from 100 RMB, and the makeup and styling are exquisite, leading to great photos. The streets of Yanji are filled with the aroma of Korean food; the cold noodles and BBQ are authentic and incredibly satisfying. The locals are warm and friendly. The city itself is clean and well-ordered, with attractions concentrated and easily accessible by public transport. It beautifully combines ethnic charm with a vibrant local atmosphere, making it a truly healing and photogenic travel destination.

Campanile Hotel Changchun is located in the downtown area, near the Puppet Manchukuo Imperial Palace Museum and the Changchun Film Museum. There are a few parking spaces at the entrance, which should be enough for non-holidays. The family room has two beds, one large and one small, and is clean and tidy. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The self-service laundry room is a plus. There are also late-night snacks available. Recommended stay!

I always choose this hotel for business trips. The transportation is convenient, the breakfast is good, and the overall environment is clean and tidy! There are also many restaurants and restaurants to choose from nearby. I will come again next time!

An extremely comfortable and value for money room in Erdaobaihe, I would highly recommend friends and family to stay here. The room looks relatively new. Room was clean, bed and pillows are very comfortable and I slept very well. Toilet was very clean, well equipped and stocked, water is hot. Train station pickup/dropoff services are generously provided. Boss is helpful and service is courteous, if you need any help they will be more than happy to assist. They also provided free upgrade to my room. The hotel location is also fantastic, close to many eateries the main areas (my favourite is xinyan shaokao!). 30mins walk/5mins car to Changbaishan north visitor center
