Even with a language barrier, their kindness translated perfectly. The location : ideally suitated in thr old town. It made exploring so easy with a young child and seniors. Value : for the price range, the quality of service and the beauty of the property are unbeatable.

First a warning, this is not a hotel but more like an AirBnB. So if you are looking for hotel services such as a reception, lounge, breakfast, etc, it is not for you. Once you arrive you need to ask two ladies there at the entrance to contact the owners of the place to come and give you the code, etc. Rather unusual experience but it works. Having this clear, this is a very good option for accommodation in Xiamen. The most magnificent part is the amazing view. The same view that the 5 star Conrad hotel has next door for one fifth of the cost. The place is ulta clean which is the second best thing. Sparking clean and very well designed room. The battub in front of the window gives you an unforgottable experience. You can open a bottle of wine or make tea and enjoy bathing looking scenery for hours. Next thing is very good service, when I requested couple of things they came to my room rather quickly and helped with my request with a very positive attitude. Finally, it is very good for money, the location is great for this price. You are literally next door to one of the most luxurious hotels of Xiamen. There are many dining opportunities of middle level around and you are also close to the ferry port for the Gunggu island. Last, I want to give some recommendations to the owners: the onlyt thing i can criticse is the lack of a portable thing for hanging my clothes. The hangers on the walls were not enough. Next, it would be great if you would leave couple of tea bags and maybe also instant coffee in the room. It would cost you little and would make the guests stay in the room rather than going out for it. You can also modernise the airconditioner output. It is fine as it is but could be more aesthetic and also better controllable. A little desk (in addition to a portable dress hanger) would also make you attract business travellers. Overall I recommend the place and I would stay here again next time.

We booked the two-storey villa and truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery within the hotel grounds, as well as the excellent service. From the doorman, restaurant staff, electrician, to the drivers — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thanks to our Butler, Xiao Fang. She is such a lovely and caring lady — incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive. No matter what we requested, she always did her best to assist. I changed my boat-ride schedule multiple times, and she handled everything with so much patience and professionalism. Xiao Fang truly made our holiday more enjoyable and completely hassle-free. We would love to come back to this hotel again.

Just checked out today, so I'm writing down my thoughts while they're fresh. My stay at the Novotel Xiamen Central these past few days was surprisingly therapeutic, surrounded by lush greenery everywhere. The lobby on the first floor is beautifully decorated, and it's also a pet-friendly hotel. I brought my dog along this time, and thanks to Manager Zhong Ganghua's proactive communication and coordination, our stay was excellent, especially since my dog is a bit shy. It doesn't feel like a traditional, rigid hotel; instead, it's like staying in a vibrant, living space. I enjoyed sitting on the sofa in the common area in the afternoon, with sunlight filtering through the leaves, casting dappled shadows. My dog had a great time too! The service was attentive, the facilities are new, and the bedding is comfortable. Next time I'm in Xiamen, I'll definitely prioritize staying here again!

We stayed in a one bedroom suite on a high floor with an extra bed for the kids. Room was spacious and well laid out and didn't feel cramped at all even with the extra bed inside. Breakfast was decent. Nothing too fancy but the noodle station was really good and we went back for it every morning. The indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi were great, we spent quite a bit of time there. My husband checked out the gym and said it was well equipped. What really made our stay was Cindy Ye from guest relations. I asked about visiting the local morning market and she suggested we take the bus and BRT instead of a taxi. Ended up being a really fun experience using local transport, and it only took us about 30 mins to get there. Really appreciated that she took the time to explain the route to us. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The invincible sea view and beautiful environment were amazing. Traveling during the off-peak season meant fewer people, making the experience excellent. There was a minor hiccup though: the first room had some equipment issues due to the strong sea breeze and humidity. However, the front desk resolved it by moving me to a better room. On the downside, the front desk phone rang for a long time without anyone answering; usually, I had to call room service for things like water or children's slippers, and they answered much faster. Overall, all the hotel staff seemed rather indifferent, with no smiles, and their responses to requests were just standard. The advertised special activities, like the sea-view train, archery, dry-land curling, and the small boats in the garden, were nowhere to be found. It's a large garden hotel, and I didn't explore much beyond the beach. My overall impression was just average. However, just before checking out, a manager from the Fuzhou Haiyingwan Baixiang Hotel Guest Relations Department handled a problem with outstanding enthusiasm and excellent service. That was the only time I felt truly served and valued. A special shout-out to her!

I enjoyed my short stay here. It was very conveniently located to the train station. However, it was hard to find foods so I had to order food online. The hotel is very clean, but my room did smell a little bit like smoke. So I had to keep the window open, but unfortunately the window screen was a bit broken so some mosquitoes came in. But once the smell was mostly out, it was a really pleasant stay. The bathroom was really clean and the bedding was spotless. Watching TV was also nice and I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was delicious. One of the best I've had actually!

I had a great stay in this property, got the room for a very affordable price, the location is very accessible to all, there is a mall, coffee shop, restaurant and convenience store downstairs and also the room had a nice view. The host is very accommodating, they have a cleaning service everyday and most importantly for me is the cleanliness of the room, the room is well maintained that's why i felt comfortable on my entire stay.
