Staying in Mandarin Oriental Qianmen was truly amazing. The whole team plan well to implement exceptional customer service and share the beauty of their property. I'd like to particularly mention some of your staffs ”Marcus” who cared so much about us from the beginning to the end, ”Eathen” the butler who was very professional during the room tour. It was our 2-year anniversary trip and they prepared our room very nicely. Next morning, we had a really joyful breakfast time with ”Wujoon Lee” and the chef ”Ping” Each menu of breakfast was top-notch. Every ingredient was very fresh, high quality, and full of authentic flavors(The Olive oil and Balsamic🫶). We loved Chef Ping's delightful energy and spirit! They were so friendly, and we even took a walk together with Wujoon after breakfast. He showed us other restaurants and beautiful ballrooms and shared many interesting stories regarding the property. It was a very pleasant conversation. I'd also like to mention one bell boy staff(sorry, couldn't pick his name up.) who came to pick up our luggage! We needed more time for packing, so he had to wait for another 10 minutes outside and took our luggage. I was supposed to meet him at the lobby because we wanted to take some more last-minute photos of our beautiful room before we leave. It was raining. After another 10-15mins, we went out and were surprised that he was waiting for us in front of our door without telling us. He just said it was raining quite heavily, so he thought it was better we take the buggy to go to the lobby. He didn't tell us because he didn't want to push us at all and make us hurry. He was very thoughtful, and I was very touched. When we reached lobby, many staffs waiting for us to say good bye, and I was told that the hotel car was prepared for my next destination.(Bvlgari hotel) I was surprised because I was supposed to grab the cab. Marcus gently offered me to take the host car for my convenience with this kind of weather. I really don't know what to say, and I felt like the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen treated me like their family. It was definitely beyond my expectations. All the staff have been very helpful, professional, and attentive. During my way to Bvlgari Hotel, I found out that the driver doesn't use the navigation. I asked him, ”Do you know where we are going?” He said he knows all the locations of every 5 stars and higher grade hotels. What a gentle and professional driver! There are always some reasons to come back! For me, the reason to come back to this property is definitely people and the breakfast, lol. The personnel of this property are absolutely the assets! The quality of service delivered by them during my Beijing trip has convinced me that I can always rely on this hotel for the home-away-from-home feeling. See you again!

Facilities: The room is spacious and well-equipped. The Panasonic high-speed hairdryer is better than the Dyson one without a pool. The air conditioner in room 1012 makes a sudden 'dong dong dong' noise after starting; it would be good to investigate the cause. Hygiene: Very satisfied. I love their body lotion. I left a message, and they sent two extra bottles the next day. Environment: It's very close to Universal Studios, just a short taxi ride away. There's a mall nearby which is great for browsing, and you can access it directly from the 3rd floor without having to go outside in the sun. Service: I mentioned it was our honeymoon, so they gave us a room on the 10th floor directly facing Universal Studios, sent us desserts, and the towels in the room were folded into swans. They found my comb while tidying the room and immediately called me. I'm very grateful! Universal Beijing Resort Shuttle Service: Didn't use it, but there are three time slots available for a free shuttle. You just need to book in advance with the front desk. Welcome Fruit: Plums, a bit sour, haha. The pool isn't big, but I had a quick swim, and the view is excellent. Overall, it's a hotel I would definitely consider revisiting.

My recent stay at Mandarin Oriental was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the experience reflected the brand’s hallmark of luxury, warmth, and impeccable service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and fluent in English, which made the stay very comfortable—especially when we were unsure about certain arrangements. Everyone was genuinely attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The location was excellent, making it convenient to explore the city while still enjoying a peaceful and refined retreat within the hotel. The food quality was very good, and while the offerings were enjoyable, a wider variety would make the dining experience even better. A very special mention goes to Adele Yang, Duty Manager, who truly went above and beyond. Despite our late check-in, she took the time to personally assist us and even gave us a tour of the hotel at that hour. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care left a lasting impression and exemplified the exceptional service Mandarin Oriental is known for. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and welcoming luxury experience.

Supermercado gigante ”Fresh Hippo” ao lado do hotel, loja de conveniência 24 horas a menos de 1 minuto a pé, então não se preocupe com seus lanches e bebidas noturnos. Café da manhã: Muita variedade de alimentos, o sabor é bom e dentro do padrão. Meus cumprimentos ao cara do café (Sr. Cara legal) e à moça do waffle (prestativa), ao cozinheiro do balcão de ovos (ele entende inglês), desculpe por esquecer de perguntar seus nomes ＞o＜. Recepção: O check-in é rápido e o check-out é tranquilo. Meus filhos ganharam uma boneca de urso da Amy Tao quando fiz o check-out, obrigado. Quarto: Troquei de quarto depois da primeira noite porque algo quebrou e precisava ser consertado, depois disso não tenho do que reclamar. A TV grande vem com muitos canais locais, Nat Geo, MTV, HBO, etc. Banheira grande, cama boa, quarto grande e cama confortável, dentro do padrão. Geral: Valor pelo dinheiro e dentro do padrão.

Great stay at Ascott with many good options nearby. Service is excellent and counter staff are helpful and attentive. Room a little old in some parts and need sprucing up. Else, everything else is lovely about the stay.

Tudo estava ótimo, exceto pelos dois pontos a seguir, que gostaria de mencionar: 1. O ar-condicionado do quarto é centralizado. Durante a estadia, senti calor em alguns momentos. 2. Há apenas uma porta que dá acesso tanto ao chuveiro quanto à banheira. Isso significa que, enquanto você estiver no chuveiro ou na banheira, sempre haverá uma parte descoberta, sem cobertura, o que pode causar sensação de frio durante o banho.

O hotel foi escolhido porque fica muito próximo da Embaixada dos EUA. Existem pequenos restaurantes, incluindo um Burger King e um McDonald's não muito longe. Além disso, há também restaurantes chineses. O quarto era bastante espaçoso. O carpete e o sofá estavam um pouco desgastados. Uma confortável cama king size, um amplo banheiro com banheira, chuveiro separado, duas pias e toalete isolado. Havia água quente abundante. Boas toalhas. O WiFi funcionou bem. Se eu tivesse negócios na Embaixada novamente, estaria inclinado a ficar aqui novamente.

We spent two nights at this Club Med hotel with our two children. Having had a fantastic experience at another Club Med previously, we were looking forward to this stay—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel feels outdated and neglected. Our bathroom was worn down, and many facilities were either closed, broken, or simply abandoned. The indoor pool was shut, the outdoor pool looked like a ruin, and several machines in the fitness room didn’t work. Even in the indoor water park some hot baths and the sauna didn’t work. Food was average at best—both breakfast and dinner buffet lacked variety and quality. Service was underwhelming too: despite few guests, I had to fetch the high chair and children’s cutlery myself every time. One activity offered was a trolley ride from the hotel to a nearby vineyard. My wife was looking forward to a proper wine tasting or a guided tour of the estate. Instead, a woman briefly showed us two shelves of wine available for purchase—no tasting, no tour. It was disappointing, especially given how impressive and vast the vineyard itself was. On the plus side, check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. But overall, this stay was disappointing and far from the Club Med standard we had come to appreciate.

O hotel fica a cerca de 5 minutos a pé da estação de metrô Dongsi Shitiao. É limpo e os funcionários foram prestativos. No entanto, o Wi-Fi estava abaixo da média e caía constantemente. Fiquei hospedado no Grand Millennium Beijing de 17/03 a 20/03/2025. A equipe da recepção foi simpática, havia uma garota que falava russo. Eles fizeram um upgrade do nosso quarto gratuitamente e nos explicaram como chegar às principais atrações. O quarto era espaçoso, com um banheiro enorme e vista para o circuito interno de TV. A sala de ginástica estava fechada para reforma. O café da manhã era basicamente chinês, mas havia arroz, ovos e salsichas. O café da manhã era o mesmo todos os dias. O restaurante do hotel fechou às 21:00. Disseram-nos que era temporário devido a reformas no restaurante principal. O metrô fica ao lado do hotel, e também há uma saída para o shopping Fortuna Mall, onde há alguns restaurantes simples no térreo, incluindo o Starbucks. Há também um supermercado.
