Our family had stayed 2 rooms for 3 nights on the 27-30, Dec 2024. Our stay were memorable and amazing. The rooms were so clean with very nice view, the breakfast line were delicious and has many variety of food both western and Chinese. The staffs were the most impressive, they could speak very good english and very friendly. The duty manager is very helpful too. I forgot the souvenir which was the Chinese embroidered traditional fan and just realized when I got back home, the duty manager was very enthusiastic and putting a lot of efforts in getting the forgot item back to me. Thank you so much, I’m really impressed and highly appreciated your hard work and kindness.

This is the 3rd stay of ours since June when we actually did stay twice. Being impressed therefrom, we decided to stay again in this impressive hotel this time. Location is excellent and so are the services in general. All staff are friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend to friends to stay in this good hotel whenever they have a chance to go to Shanghai.

It was useful that trip tells you the size of the beds so that you can determine whether they’re big enough to share with children. Lots of the hotels say that children can stay free, but the beds are no way big enough. The shanghai garden hotel has 2x 1.2m single beds in a standard room, which is considered a small double in the uk, and was comfortable for my family of 4. We visited the swimming pool during our stay and it was very refreshing. Be advised it is mandatory to wear swim cap. Which will have to be purchased if you don’t have it. Breakfast was vast, lots of choice of Chinese, Japanese and western style. We particularly enjoyed 混沌汤, 点心。 Disappointed with the 包子, 生煎包 - which didn’t really have much filling, flavour, and 油条 - which wasn’t fluffy felt it was cooked from frozen. Particularly annoying when we were asked to pay the high full price for our small 12 year old and half price for 7 year old, rather than by height which is what other hotels do. They hardly ate anything! Consider being more family friendly!

During our stay at the Shanghai Kempinski, the hotel staff May Xiong & Billy Du both went above and beyond expectation. They would always greet us and ensured that our experience felt just like home. From the moment we checked in, every member of the front desk was welcoming and responded really quickly to all our inquiry’s or requests. The housekeeping team did an amazing job of keeping our room clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We really appreciated their attention to detail and the extra care they put into making sure everything was perfect. Overall, I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel during my visit in Shanghai. Hotel is at a good location, close to metro and the bund. Walkable distance to food areas and shuttle to the airport. There’s also a kitchen where you can cook if you want some clean food at home. We cannot thank them enough for making our stay truly memorable. We will definitely bring our kids back again! Jennifer

This is my second time staying at the Westin on Christmas Eve. The facilities are so comfortable, staff are incredibly friendly, and location is amazing. Highly recommend a stay here. 

We had a great stay at this hotel. Check in was quick and reception was friendly. We booked a family room with a sofa bed and the space was what we just needed. We tried the lounge on the 30th floor but the food was nothing spectacular. However, with so many choices of restaurants on Nanjing street, this wasn’t a big issue. Breakfast buffet was really good.

Well maintained hotel. Didn't have smoke smell at all in the room. The only complain was the room was too hot!!! Please set the room temperature at 18 census in the winter , that is the normal temp for in door in most of the countries of the world!!!!!!!

I had an amazing stay following an intense week. Very stylish interior and love the room, especially the decor and functionally of their furniture design. Hotel is very close proximity to TaiKooHui shopping mall and West Nanjing Road. Would recommend to others if you’re seeking tasteful hotel with convenience.

It was a really good experience. Starting from the location just in front of the bund in the north side where you can enjoy a perfect view without too many people. The view from the window was amazing and also the breakfast. All the staff was very kind and speak good English. I will totally recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a great experience in Shanghai.

I had a wonderful stay at the Pullman Shanghai Central for a relaxing birthday staycation. The front desk team was fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate a special request for my birthday. I was also pleasantly surprised when the chef delivered a delicious cake to my room to celebrate the occasion. The dining room where breakfast was served was stunning, and the pastries were especially delightful. Overall, I had a brilliant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
