"Chegamos ao Cardiff Central de trem, que fica a 15 minutos a pé deste Premier Inn. Foi muito acolhedor e a equipe amigável, quartos limpos, com tanto chá e café, que você pegou da loja de viajantes na entrada principal. Minha única reclamação é que, como tenho restrições alimentares, eles não puderam atendê-las e tiveram que se contentar com o que estava em oferta. Não há comida sem glúten à noite, apenas o que eu chamaria de hambúrgueres gerais, lasanha, peixe com massa de bife e batatas fritas. O único vegetal oferecido era ervilhas. Hoje em dia, os hotéis precisam atender a uma variedade de condições de saúde das pessoas. Veganos/vegetarianos não são sem glúten ou portadores de SII ou celíacos. Que são problemas complicados. Seria útil se eles oferecessem algo que pudesse ser adaptado."

"The hotel is located in a very nice area where it’s easy to get a taxi or walk anywhere within the town.
However, the mobile signal was quite weak, and the hotel Wi-Fi kept disconnecting - I had to log in again every time, which was quite inconvenient when trying to work.
The room had a strong smell of rubber or leather, which made me feel sick and gave me a headache throughout my stay.
The shower drainage didn’t work properly - no other drainage hole in the bathroom, and it eventually overflowed. I had to call the maintenance team to fix it.
After lying on the bed for a short while, I noticed red, itchy patches on my face, almost like insect bites. I later found out that strong detergent used in washing the bedding can sometimes cause skin irritation. That night, I slept with a clean towel over the pillow and asked for fresh bedding the next day. Although my companion didn’t have any issues, I’d recommend anyone with sensitive skin to cover the pillow with a clean towel just in case.
Overall, the services provided by the hotel were not bad, but the condition of the room and the reliability of the Wi-Fi definitely need improvement."

"Great location, convenient for sites. Good rate which included breakfast. Difficult to get to by car. Using Waze is much better.
Didn’t get the room type booked but managed for 2 nights.
Agent at checkin took several minutes before acknowledging me in the queue. I would have been happy being told ”I’ll be with you in a few minutes” instead of being ignored whilst he chatted with his colleague about what seemed to be an issue. I believe because he was distracted, we weren’t given any hotel information - i.e. location of lifts, breakfast time etc. which is standard.
Breakfast service wasn’t great the first morning. Second morning was much better. I think it’s because we arrived at approx. 10:30 on the first day and the team was ready to go as I could hear them counting down the minutes to the end of their shift. No hot drinks offered; told drinks were on the buffet when in fact they needed to be ordered. Drinks eventually brought on asking again, but no cups. Had to ask for them.
Quite noisy at night because of all the bars and restaurants outside, which meant the window couldn’t be left open, as the room was quite warm, despite adjusting the temperature of the HVAC system.
Very nice, modern hotel, could improve with better staff training."

"Decent hotel, centrally located close to the train station making it a very convenient place to stay. Staff very welcoming and took into account my special request and booked me a quiet room which was appreciated.
Breakfast, nothing special, just like any other hotel breakfast in the uk. Good views at the breakfast area, staff on hand to help and often going out of their way to help.
Service was 10/10.
Rooms themselves felt a little old and could do with a touch up but comfy enough for a short stay! Coffee machine too!"

"I couldn’t not fault the hotel, I amazing stay the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Hotel is right by central, easy access to pubs and restaurants.

"Location to public transport and local attractions was convenient. The accommodation was comfortable but it would have been better if there was a floor plan where the rooms are located as only 3 rooms were on the main floor and the others were accessible via stairs, which are narrow. Our room was outside the main house in the back. If you are travelling with lots of luggage or big, heavy suitcases, be mindful that there are no lifts. Housekeeping was a bit disappointing. Modern fittings and energy saving features were a plus."

"Best hotel I've been to so far all the staff day/night was well mannered happy helpful joyful staff from reception to dinning down to the cleaners all have above and beyond with my stay from the moment I arrived made me feel equal as im disabled the lift access was easy to use helpful with my luggage straight away no waiting around reception was brilliant excellent communication got my room card really quickly no waiting around 3 lifts so plenty of access to floors my room was beautiful spacious easy access with quick card entrance with electric door just swap and the door opens for you with one press button to exit bathroom has all disabled access toilet bars shower seat with arm rests your able to move from side to side which helps getting to dry floor food was amazing from breakfast buffet massive selection you got to try the mixed fruit juices red and green flavour explosion have your great British fry up with a croissant and cappuccino for afters even had reserved table with easy access with out asking help with service if you want your breakfast brought too your room i highly recommend you stay in the Leonardo hotel for best stay on what ever your needs great tourist's while on your stay you have to visit the castle"

SSonjaLVery friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent and replenished frequently so was always fresh. The bar was welcoming and reasonably priced. Our little dog was with us and made a complete fuss of by both staff and customers which she loved. Overall a lovely stay in a great hotel in an ideal location for accessing cardiff and surrounding areas.

MMaximimusI booked two apartments in Cardiff for the weekend for my wife and I and my son and his wife.
We watched the rugby match at the principality stadium then went out for dinner . We then walked home and arrived at our apartments at 8.30pm to find no hot water for a shower . The temperature outside is 5 degrees Celsius. I called the duty manager who informed me that the boilers in the building were off and someone would come and turn them on in half an hour . It is 10pm as I write this review and there is still no hot water . As far as I am concerned this is a breach of contract , I paid for two executive apartments with fully functioning amenities which if you read the laws on hiring rooms or apartments says hot water . I feel that I should be refunded for one nights stay for both apartments.

UUsuário convidadoThe hotel was nice, as it has a lovely swimming poo, so na and steam room. Very few chair for relaxing in the pool area, some people were sitting on the floor with their towels. Breakfast was the same with bit of change in their biscuits cereal. Bad side for food is that they offered scamble eggs only, fried and pouches eggs and omelette they charge for them.
It was my first time at the hotel or in Cardiff, it was Xmas even they seem kinda busy check in was suppose to be 3oclk but when we got there room was not ready and the receptionists were just cool about that, had to go to the desk and ask constantly which s boring.
The hotel is clean but I think their cleaning management is not up to standard, I had missing items in the room, like towels and next day I had to ask for handwash gel 100 times as it was not replaced. If you book with them maybe get yourself a suite room unlike just an ordinary room. It is a 4 star hotel was expecting a lot from them.

AAniwithluiI stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

GGuest UserGreat stay at Future Inn Cardiff. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location near Cardiff Bay is excellent with plenty of places to eat and things to see nearby. Free parking was also a big bonus. Would happily stay here again.

LL BarberVisited here for NYE for a couple of days in cardiff with close friends and it was amazing and we all loved it.
Hotel was clean, staff were super friendly and helpful and the amenities were great and got plenty of use from our party (pool,spa etc).
99/100% we will definitely be returning!

UUsuário convidadoLocation was excellent. Right in the city centre. Don't be confused though, there are two Travelodges and we went to the wrong one first which was conveniently close to the train station. A short taxi ride took us to the correct one. Reception is unusually on the 3rd floor, but friendly staff. Your pass key will only unlock your floor which also has safety doors. Be careful not to put it near your phone as it desensitised it and it won't unlock anything - like mine, but a visit to the Reception fixed that. Felt very safe there as the automatic doors from street level lock at night, so no one could wander in off the street. A bar and cafe located on same 3rd floor as Reception was convenient for a drink and snack. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cardiff has a large pedestrian area, so it was easy to walk to major shops, restaurants and pubs (recommend the Owain Glyndwr) and attractions such as Bute Park and Cardiff Castle were easy to walk to. The Christmas markets and Winter Wonderland were also close by and beautiful to view at night. Foreign money exchange was a short walk from hotel at the Queen Street shopping arcade entrance.

Mainly self check-ins which loses the personal touch I feel and not too happy charged extra for parking giving the location of the hotel.
Great service in the restaurant.
