Travelodge Cardiff Central Queen Street

Located in the middle of the city centre close to castle and local attractions. Unfortunately room backed into a night club which played music till 4am. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. Other then that lovely place.

Good located in old town Center People not really friend, TV remote were broken. Anyway price is good and just stay a nite so that fine

A great place to stay, stayed here for a two night break in November, went for the cardiff winter wonderland, the travelodge is smack bang in the centre of everything you need, a 12 minute walk from the train station, eateries, pubs, coffee shops, takeaways, restaurants literally everything, from greggs, KFC, McDonald's, Wetherspoons etc etc, it is opposite the live lounge bar, where they play live music all day, but a little gem of a place we found to eat, was a place called pillars, right next door to the travelodge itself. Travelodge rooms were clean and tidy, staff were also very friendly and polite, highly recommend a visit, definitely will be going back next year ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel was clean, comfy, Staff were absolutely Good hotelbrilliant, very helpful and the breakfast was good, slightly unorganised but no complaint but if you're thinking of having an evening meal please DON'T! As a family we have travelled alot but have never had such a bad meal ever! Kids fishfingers looked old, grey and rock hard, corn cobs had not been heated atall, certain items were missing, they came later when requested, only desserts on the menu were sundaes or pancakes, should be ok, NO! the icecream had large ice crystals and bananas were black!! Eating out is highly recommended..

Very comfortable rooms and fresh and clean bedding, friendly and helpful staff along with decent food and a good breakfast plus pretty cheap drinks! Very good location and is very close to everything in Cardiff Central about 5 minute walk from the castle

We stayed here for the weekend to meet up with friends and watch the rugby. This hotel was absolutely brilliant, in the heart of the city and easily walkable to the Principality Stadium and other tourist attractions if you want to visit them. There is no onsite parking, but there is an NCP car park a short five-minute walk just around the corner. The staff were super friendly and helpful, gave us lots of tips and advice on things to do and recommendations where to eat, etc. There is a lift to all areas the room was very clean and the beds are always great. The breakfast was very tasty and the chef came out to chat to everyone to see if everything was okay, all the food was fresh and regularly topped up. When we visit Cardiff again, this is the only place I would stay at, its got everything for a top experience.

What a lovely hotel, staff were great and so welcoming, Sophie, Kelly and Laura to name a few, the room was quiet and very clean, we had breakfast at the hotel both mornings and it was great value, and all you can eat, hotel looked. Very modern, was also a great location near shops and pubs

Wow! This hotel was amazing, the staff are 5*, they deliver world class se vice in a budget environment, the hotel is located in city centre, yes there’s noise, but you book a hotel in city centre you know what your getting, food at hotel was amazing 2 courses for £14, all you can eat breakfast for under £10 too, me and the boys ate well here let me tell you, room was spotless and huge. I’d book this hotel anytime, cheers Cardiff

The hotel is in a great location in relation to the shops and Cardiff castle. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Laura helped me at check in and explained everything to me. The accesible room was spacious and the room had everything required. There is a live music venue opposite with music until 4am the music can be very loud and could be bothersome if looking for a quiet night or staying with family. Sophie the hotel manager was extremely understanding and supportive when a situation occurred. The vibe for the hotel is very chilled, there is no space for luggage storage but made use of the large check out. Thank you travellodge
